The Lock Screen will be a very nice change, I am very much looking forward to taking subjects out of a picture, I am also going to love voice dictation while typing as well.
On Public Beta 2 and am loving the new dictation feature. Very nice that it adds automatic punctation. Although it's not perfect and could use some work, but it is a beta so I'm hoping the final version is a bit better.
Hello, Aaron, near the time 3:27-3:30 (where you have sn emoticon); you are telling us about the sign -in and passwords( and a choice of using a certain type of way to sign-in). Can you please tell me how to get to that area? I don’t want to keep manually signing -in to frequented websites. I do prefer the Face-ID in general, but yours looks different @ about 3:30.
Thanks Aaron-these make iOS 16 even more exciting!!-I knew some of these but this was a very needed and useful reminder!!-I really appreciate your unique and informative videos and your efforts and dedication!!-I can’t wait for iOS 16!!!.
Hi Aaron, any idea how to activate PiP on RUclips on my iPad Pro 5th gen? The most recent version of the app is installed and PiP is turned on however it is still not working. Any ideas? Thank you!
I'm not sure if I've seen anybody talk about the new AirPod AirPlay menu that is accessed by tapping the AirPods glyph in control centre when they are connected. There seems to be a new SharePlay feature where you can share audio to another set of AirPods. I haven't been able to test this but might be worth a look. Just a video about new audio features, from Apple Music, Spatial Audio personalization, etc also would be good.
Hello Aaron, I appreciate you showing the accessibility features I am visually impaired and I watch your RUclips videos thank you because I like learning about these new features in iOS
I really need help in this thing. When ever I call someone who has already saved my phone number, it shows unknown number in their phone. I don’t know how to fix this, is there any option in setting? I’m using iPhone 13 pro max in iOS 16.4
@@D37fit That’s understandable. I have an iPhone 12 Pro and the battery health is 85%. I am getting good battery life on the iOS 16 Public Beta with the haptic keyboard turned on. Maybe try it off one week, on the next, to compare. Take care.
"Duplicate photos" merging doesn't seem to work yet. When trying to merge it gives out an error "Unable to Merge Duplicates. Duplicate photos cannot be merged at this time".
Aaron can you plz explain to me how i switch from beta to official release when it comes out i don’t want to back up and switch back to iOS 15 i just want to let’s say from iOS 16 beta 5 to Official iOS 16 when it comes out what should i do in that time in September or something
I’m looking forward to the apple play later. They didn’t give much info on it but if I don’t have use other apps and have a better access to buy now and pay later.
To make newer phones a bit better the phone because to be honest if you use both phones even an older phone like the 11 or xs you won’t feel the difference unless you hold them side by side
My gripe about the change to messages is that the recipient gets the change history for edited messages. That's the whole point of editing the message is so the recipient only sees the edit, which is why you edit it in the first place. It makes no sense.
Around 1:20 your camera is open and the top bar of your camera app looks different than mine. Can you explain what that measure icon is with the -0.3 up there?
And hopefully more states can be added to support the drivers license feature in Wallet, currently the only two states that are supported now are Arizona and Maryland.
Nice features , I like the privacy feature and lockdown, the message feature too is cool, as always nice and informative video. Good that Airpods get its own menu
Thank you Aaron. You have a very excellent knack of explaining things very simply and interestingly. You are not about yourself more about proclaiming the information.
Here’s my problem with these videos, there is so much great information I can’t remember it all. So in a weird way it bothers me to know that there are wonderful things out there and I can’t remember them haha
As a network Admin; I am concerned with the show my Wi-Fi password. Typically Corporate phones on a corporate network, passwords are not provided. Now an employee with a corporate device can easily view corporate Wi-Fi password, allowing non corporate devices to join the network which will present vulnerabilities

'Live Text' came with iPhone SE 2022 (3rd gen) in like iOS 15.x ?? Didn't it ?? I think it was the first device to have 'Live Text'. Plus it seems that iOS definitely has the *best* accommodation(s) for accessibility features.
Informative video Aaron! Since I'm waiting on the public release of ios 16, I can only look forward to all its features. I've said some favourite features in the past, but one has been repetitive since it's my favourite. Even though, it's probably one of the more minor features. Ending calls with the power button. It just means a user won't have to take their device away from their ear and/or swipe the slider from left to right.
I’m glad they have a change log on iMessage for both sender and receiver. I was thinking that was going to be abused. Also glad they finally added a lock button for the hidden folder. I always felt like the hidden folder was so obvious and easy to get to on someone’s phone if you handed it to them to take a picture of whatever. My wiener thanks you.
I recently downgraded my iPhone 12 to iOS 15.6 from iOS 16 and going to send my Apple Watch Series 7 41mm in for repair to get downgraded to WatchOS 8.7
I like that they improved the sharing of wifi password. It would be nice if they were able to add a QR code so it could be shared that way like I can on my Samsung. It's not the end of the world either way. I still plan to swap over to iOS either way
You can share Wi-Fi password with a QR code using Siri Shortcuts. Copy and paste the Wi-Fi password to a Siri shortcut and it can generate a QR code to share with others.
@@lia1tan that’s cool I didn’t realize that yet. Thanks for the info. It still seems easier on my Samsung as I just select it and that is an option right there in the Wi-Fi settings. Good to know when I drop the android phone like a bad habit it will still be an option. Guest seem to like opening their camera app and being connected.
What iOS 16 feature do you use the most or look forward to if you aren't using it yet? Thanks for watching, it is always appreciated.
The feature about the picture where you can copy the picture and it’s delete it’s background so you can use it as sticker
The Lock Screen and the taking a photo from a background. Also undo send and deleting messages!!.

Would be great to have the door accessibility feature in a set of glasses
When iOS 16 will be released to the public

Great video Aaron, very informative and in depth analysis of iOS 16 and what to expect come September 2022
Will the iOS 16 can support the touch simulation controllers like ipega gamepads and other wireless controllers again?
The first is definitely feature that I just learned in this video. And which amazed me much. Thanks!
Does the live text features work without internet?
Hi Aaron, do you recommend yubikey for 2FA on a MacBook Air and Iphone?
I don't get the purpose of door detection? If you can't physically see the door, how are you going to see the text on your phone?

Being able to adjus AirPods settings in the settings app.
We just need an update feature now.

I heard the new update has battery issues ?
Why a lot of Movies in night screens can’t hardly see I hope that can fix that

My most appreciated (not technically “helpful”) feature is the Haptic keyboard. I really recommend that everyone turns it on.

If you’re using beat headphone or bud while connect to iPhone it’ll show up it own menu too.
Do you need an iPhone Pro in order to use the door detection feature in accessibility?
You need an iPhone with LiDAR, so 12, pro, 12 Pro Max or 13 Pro , 13 Pro Max or iPad Pro with LiDAR

September
On iOS 16 beta 1, my iPhone 11 gets unlocking in landscape and i dont know why Apple removes in next betas….. im angry of that….

Wait, 71° Celsius? That doesn’t sound right.

The WiFi password thing is great, as a previous android user was very annoying not having that on the iPhone.
Hope the landscape unlock feature worked in iPhone 12 as well 😢.

At the top middle of the cam app there is an arrow, if you swipe down it offers you to customize it. I think the 0.3 is the exposure.

The wifi password thing works on MOST Wi-Fi’s. If u have AT&T n automatically connect to passpoint secure, it won’t give u the wifi password.
