At the time, I thought it was very appropriate given how bikd their statements were becoming and the hate that flourished from his "Let Tolerance Begin" page. Like, that ceremony is purely act of self-indulgence. A person who doesn't hate dont lash out to competing arguments, they just let you be because they dont care.
I get the context but, those who supported the ceremony with Queen Latifah where multiple same-sex partners had a wedding, really were out to destroy Bizzle. It wasnt an act of tolerance. It was an act of entitlement.

    • @TheoCynical

He answered a lot of misinformation that the LGBTQIA+ community were making in association of other groups and themselves.
Even at the end, he showed love, support, encouragement, and most of all Tolerance.
He at least told Christiand to be smart in presenting the track to those in the homosexual lifestyle, not to be aggressive or unloving.

The Holy Spirit was on Bizzle's pen when he wrote those lyrics. I could hear the Lord in His love and passion in every bar of that song. I pray that Bizzle's music bring many people to repentance and help these lost souls come asking for forgiveness. As Jesus said " unto me, that labour and are , and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. we unto Him we shall find rest unto our souls" (Matthew 11:28-3). Jesus is Lord and He reigns over all.

I feel Joyner is in the right place. Who should you go to when you don't know? GOD! Also i receive this song as a confession and him confide in GOD. We are to take all burdens to the foot of the cross in this song i felt Joyner did this. even if it sounds him playing "judge" he still went to the father! Bizzle on the other hand that response was spirit driven and out of love telling his brother we here you and i love you.

Social media and church are not something to be compared to. Someone judge you on social media who gives a crap. You dont even know if thats a real person. You go to church to speak to God not to be judge or anything else. The people in church are real people who can affect you in real life. I dont think social media is something to be compared to a church. Sometimes as a christian accept your fault. He didnt say God is the problem in th church he said the people in the church are the problem. At the end of the day your body is the church in ur life not the bulding.

To express my opinion as briefly as I can, Joyner Lucas came full circle in his Devil's Work. The song begins like a rant, then reflects to say its only out of frustration, and finally concludes it was not of God's but of the Devil's work. From a creative standpoint, I appreciate how he saved the "punch line" all the way until the end to bring out a kind of twist to the storyline of the lyrical content. The mood changes throughout to begin with problems and to conclude with resolution. So I feel Devil's work was very well crafted to have a mood progression as well as a twist.

I believe In GOD an his son an have mad respect for them, an all the friends an family an other biblical personality like the 12 disciples Joseph and virgin Mary also Job, David, John, Elias, Lazarus... the list goes on.

We all have freedom of choice also. I believe our choices put's us in situations, with people we are influenced by, or hang out with, etc. I think Joyner was sayin what a lot of folks think when someone they love deeply, like a child or spouse or a family member, someone they feel deep in the heart. People feel guilty blaming God for things we lose. For me it was a process when that loss came. I was so angry I did blame God for awhile until I found someone safe to speak it to. My brain knew it wasn't God's fault but my heart needed a place to throw the anger. I know God forgave me and the healing began. God bless both Joyner and Bizzle. We are all God's children.

First time I’m finally hearing this. I’m a big Bizzle fan. Loved the Joyner verse, I totally felt that and have said something similar to God like why is Bill Gates still breathing??? Anyways, the verse was relatable. When I heard Bizzles verse, I cried my ways out. The last time a rap song made me cry was hearing DMX first album for the first time. This whole Devils Work colab with both artists is so necessary. This was just the realest thing they both ever wrote. Well Bizzle writes the realest lyrical content EVER, his entire pen for YEARS is the Realest in the game Periot! But yeah, this is just incredible.

Why do you all think God is taking people as if we don’t live in a fallen world 🌎. There are many things and situations the enemy can infiltrate.
When you are hurt and don’t understand something you have to ask questions. It means you believe God is real and you see him as a parent are someone you desire to be close to.
Lastly, God isn’t choosing by random or causing pain on purpose he uses what the enemy means for evil and can take it and make it for our good.

I also didn't hear Joyner's song first as well. In fact I had never heard of him until 2 days ago. I discovered Christian rap 2 months ago and have been listening to it till now. I found Bizzle's tunes and through this 'response tune' I had to find out who Joyner was and the tune in question. I've been spending much time going through 'reaction videos'. 98% of them have been positive.

God doesn’t get mad because you question him.......Most people question God daily.....hell even tho i know that it’s for a reason i do......Questioning and Disobeying are two different things.....God is Lord but above that he is our father......we can speak to him in the way we would speak to our father......Following God out of fear will not lead you to the place you desire.....for God wants us to follow him out of love....out of desire to love him and serve him and he in return provides for us.....it’s simple....those who have seen that patterns and noticed that “coincidence” is God doing his thing will understand the peace of knowing our father will do everything and i mean everything.....dude gave up his Son for me and you so.May God bless u

I strongly dislike (I wanted to say hate) when Christians say "never question God." That's your first response? We as Christians GOTTA do better. We act like we never question God at times. Questioning God is as human as breathing. His ways aren't our ways and He's always doing things we don't understand. We just don't operate like robots and just say "He knows best, I will trust Him." In a perfect world yes we would but we are in flesh and we question God. If we're honest, in most of our prayers (especially in hard times) we have elements of questioning God. That's just part of our dependence on God and part the dialogue between God and man. Was Jesus questioning God when asked if there was anyway for the cup of the cross to be removed? I don't know. I like the lady with the dope natural hair's response. Lead with compassion...he's hurt. We too quickly as Christians go to "Oh, the bible say yada, yada, yada...do this, do that." We gotta get some compassion and empathy. Thought Joyner song was excellent and honest...and I may not have those same examples but had similar questions about other things like when genuine Christians ppl are unable to have kids, when my best friend died at the age of 24, etc. Aside from the first response, this was a DOPE conversation!

I went through a really bad situation and God spoke to me personally one time and please believe me when I say it was not the response I expected. For some reason we think God operates as emotionally as we do. God is a Warrior. Yes He is gentle but He definately is STRONG. TOO STRONG if you ask me. His response to me was shocking considering what I was going through. Anyways Im not surprised how He answered Job. After all He didn't lie when He said "My ways are not your ways....". Tough to stomach but true. God Bless

I don't think it's a problem asking questions to God, but your approach needs to stay respectful. Joyner was a little disrespectful, but I do understand the pain he seems to be in, and I liked his honesty. The song is basically a prayer. I actually love Joyner's song as a two part with Bizzle's response (God's response through him). They go together really well. Even in the book of Job, God had a problem with how Job approached Him, not the questions Job had. At the end, once Job repented for the disrespect, God was able to comfort him and bless him. This song and response is pretty close to the book of Job.

When it comes to someone passing away I'm not into the whole concept of God taking that person. I see more of God allowing it to happen. He gave us free will and he may or may not intervene. I understand questioning God, I've done it but God owes us nothing. We owe him everything.

Genesis 50:20 comes to mind. Joseph went through a lot and yet saw what he went through from God’s perspective. Although Joseph was mistreated and suffered for many years he understood that when others mean evil against you, God is working out the greater good for his children. That is to say, if you are His child. We are all image bearers of God but all people are not God’s children. Only those who come to Christ and are regenerated by the Holy Spirit of God are adopted into the family of God.

I see a lot of people getting at Biz because he responded publicly. What would you say to that? It doesn’t bother me but I see Christian’s torn on it. They also saying Biz wasn’t compassionate. I’m not in many circles but was interested on what you all thought. For the record I agree with Biz.

Hey what's good bro. What I would say is when it comes to situations like this we must first the look at the situation as a whole and not just the surface. We don't know whats going on in Joyner's life that's why I always tell people to read two scriptures 1: Matthew 18 and Proverbs 26: 4-5

    • @tbk247

SHOW ME CHRIST RECORDS what’s good fam. Yep I get that. I see another view as well in some of the stuff I’ve seen about it. I’ve actually seen some Christian’s thanking Biz because they was digging that view from Joyner too much.
I thought that was awesome to admit that. I understand Joyner may be hurting but too me, even though he can rap, but it was how he questioned God.
In my times that I’ve questioned God I still had a little more respect/in my opinion, then Joyner did. Even before I accepted Christ. Like why did you take such and such and not take such in such. That’s just a wild set of questions to me. Like this person is good and that person is bad. Like who are you to even say who’s good or bad.
But I do think it’s a healthy conversation to have. Like I said what I really liked the most was our brothers and sisters in the faith who admitted the was felling Joyner until they heard Biz response. I thought that was pretty awesome.

@@tbk247 my thing is its all about approach we as Christians don't need more smoke. If people like bizzle is going to respond in that manner than he needs to have a one on one conversation in private that's the only way both sides are going to grow.

SHOW ME CHRIST RECORDS ... did Joyner have a 1 on 1 with GOD No he spit lyrics causing more division with GOD than bringing people to him. Christ came to divide and if you get in your feelings and can’t take the truth then truth is not in you. This Christian walk is not for the weak or frail we all fall and stumble but it’s he who gets back up that will be victorious in the end.

You make these blanket statements like you got all the answers. And like I said that should of been done in private period. How would you feel if someone put you on blast all over youtube without first seeing what's going on. Joyner needs grace and mercy just like God gave it to us.

It’s not wrong to question God. Job questioned God, and God spoke back to him lovingly, and straight forward. We have the ability to question Him, but He gives us understanding in knowing that His will, and plan for our lives. We can seek His face to understand His lessons.

That wasn't necessarily from what I've learned an order so much as a specific order for the women of the church of Corinith (the church Paul wrote Corinthians to) because of the big divide in the church and the horrible treatment of the women from that church. Paul warned them as to not be accused of heresy and be burned alive.

That was a bldg he walked in & it was full of Catholic idols even the bible he was holding had an image of someone that wasn't Jesus, and he went with true questions and confessions expecting answers, I assume and Jesus said come as you are & he came as he was. It wasn't Holy ground like when God told Moses take off your sandals because where you are stepping is Holy ground, because if he had spoken to him then I grantee none of that would have been brought in. He would have fell to his face and repented. My prayer is that he heard Bizzles response and it planted a seed and he really seeks God and his righteousness and gets his soul saved so God can use him to plant righteous seed and he'll be ready when it's time for him to step into eternity wit God in heaven & not hell.
