Mate, I know you want FMS to make it, but the HG P408 came out about 4 years ago and I still adore mine... And my 801 and 802, and 806.... I'm sure I could figure out 4WS on the p408 pretty easy.
FMS is really the company to beat as far as scale innovation is concerned Well done! Btw, I "had" a four wheel steer crane in the military. The crab function was ALWAYS fun!
I used to steer clear of any rc that was not 1/10th scale. I stopped that about a year ago and I’m so glad I did. FMS stuff is fun. So many fun rigs outside of the 1/10th scale.
The play in the drivetrain is actually pretty realistic, I have several hummers myself and when you come to a stop, especially at traffic lights, the whole truck rock’s back and forth about 6-12”
I think FMS just made their stand this is going to make people realize that they're here to play I think the power wagon honestly out-of-the-box is the best truck you can possibly buy when it comes to 1/24 r118 motor ESC transmission all of it so good portal boxes the whole 9 yd especially if you stretch it and slam it throw some grass on the front-end killer brushless motor in there and if you want a killer brushless motor let me tell you mofo bam motor is a beast
There has been a Hummer in my neighborhood for a while. The other day, I was thinking about when someone would come out with a Hummer rc . It looks like FMS has nailed it on this one.
All the features are outstanding. Scale builders will have a good time with this. It will be interesting to see how the different features hold up as more and more people put them through their tests. FMS really went all in on this vehicle.
Yeah that's what I'm waiting for,see what's good what's not etc none the less a very nice product..I love the scale side of rc as much as playing with them
Only FMS I have is the 1/6 Jimny and man is it awesome! This one is a future buy for sure. I want to see more 1/6 and 1/10 scale trucks from this Company.
I am so excited for the renegade h1 hummer when I seen it had lockable deaths four-wheel skating and awesome lighting options and 2 Wheel mode and possibly wench so excited
I like a lot of the FMS products I have the peoples car the green jimny and both 1/6 scale Suzuki and jeep that is a lot of functions so cool Excited to see the H one on hobby shelves near me
Easy to install on 1/10 rigs just get a scx 10.2 trans with dig remove the dig lock install trans backwards and there you go rwd and flip of a switch with servo 4wd been wanting to do this for a while just keep forgetting to
Love it very nice looking i am a fan of FMS, but I am so done with all the different size trucks, from now on its 1/10 only i like the ability to have so many interchangeable parts and accessories that are available on 1/10. I will probably be selling all my 1/24, 1/18 and1/12 vehicles. I'll only be doing 1/16 military stuff and 1/10 crawlers. Thats it for me
will be almost perfect with slightly bigger tyres on it. Those look a tiny bit too small? but the rest of it is incredible! i also wish they'd do a larger scale model 👍🍺🇬🇧
Lol, apparently I was too excited for this RC car in RUclips’s eyes because my original comment got deleted. 😂 That’s how you know it’s good. And no I didn’t say anything that hasn’t already been said on this channel, super clean, just too excited.
@@BahbahKaduche As long as I don't have to pay for it, or to remove the extra parts that are more likely to cause different types of problems. If the (parts required for) 4WS was an optional add-on for those who want it there would be no issues.
Is the powertrain on the hg is all heavy metal. Thats what got me to buy, not one but several of them. but after watching your review i am definitely considering buying an fms hummer so many functions on this one and details ,not bad for 350$.
Despite all the fancy features and nice detailing, I think that out on the trail the low rider style ground clearance and small tyres without much grip will soon start to get rather frustrating.
I think fms geting product sugestions from a panel of 6 year olds. "we want 2spd, 4wd, 4ws, everything opens etc. Almost to many functions. I think its sweet and kind of like a look what we can make. Don't know how much of a market there is for this but i want it
Great review although the fact you can't get figure in without cutting their feet off isn't good. The real deal breaker is all the different steering options. I would have prefered it to be like the HG P408 with front wheel steering only. Less to go wrong that way. The low clearance goes with the small scale although my MND99s seem to have more clearance. The FJ40 seems more options to play compared to the H1?
@@RCReviewChannel probably right about that specially tracks as they'd be going for the full 8 900 dollar range. And I bet Axail would be $550 $650 range and not have full functionality you probably would not get the servos an upgrade radio
i still prefer the hg p408. its just undestroyable and almost every part is metal. and its 1:10 scale. the front and rear suspension is almost identical. which makes it easy to maintain. and i think its probably possible to amke it 4 wheel steering as well. the details are also awesome. you can use parts from other hummer models like the p415. the chassis is identical. the fms is cool because of the underguard. pretty cool! but it lacks power speed and torque.
How does this compare to the HGP408? Do you have one of those to do a side by side with? I know that the hgp version is slightly bigger - but would be interesting to see how they compare on the rocks.
That would be interesting to see but the HG P408 is as you mentioned bigger and I would guess is more capable on rocks. From the top of my head it has more clearance, not just due to the scale but also due to the design, seemed there was more clearance underneath the chassis. Both have great detail but for a 1/10 scale the HG P408 has killer detail but it’s very expensive. FMS has been making super detailed vehicles for affordable prices. I picked up the 1/6 Jimny at the Black Friday price on Amazon for $119. I’ve actually seen people get it for as low as $98. Crazy, right? Haven’t seen anything lately from HG. I have their P407 Bruiser clone and for $200 was crazy for that price. So much metal and detail.
need some wheels that has slightly bigger offset, i hate the stance right now, but the body looks fantastic! also XT30 was a bitch to work with, still can't power it on, waiting for some Xt30 to dean connector so i can power that thing on
HG has made this 1/10 as well. But its much more heavier. Check it out i actually have 1. Its too complicated for me im switching it over to my spektrum to make it not a stick remote 😂😂
