To change the startup screen you need to use the CPS Software for the radio

I don't think so, well not that I know of :/ possibly this chirp.danplanet.com/projects/chirp/wiki/Running_Under_Linux BUT says for Chirp Legacy which doesn't support this radio :/

@@rullirulli7419 I found other software to flash the screen and change the voice. BV UV's Pro CPS (modified) works for me.
