Hi, Do you have a video or other guide showing how to install the system before the window is in place? That would be the optimal I understand. He mentions it at the end.
There is some detail for pre-installation of window sealing tape on our website. The tape to use is Pro Clima Contega Solido SL-D (for internal use), this has adhesive on the underside and a second strip of adhesive on the top for attaching directly to the frame before the window is in place. Details here: www.ecologicalbuildingsystems.com/product/contega-solido-sl-d . Our technical team may have a video that they can share, please use the contact form on our website to get in touch.

Great video! Very helpful. Thank you for posting!
Glad it was helpful!
Is it ok to stick plasterboard with foam adhesive on the tape? Or it will be damaged?
Thanks
That would be fine. You could also use Aerosana Visconn (airtight membrane/paint) in the window reveals and dot and dab plasterboard onto this.
Easier to bend the tape and hold it perfectly then pull the backing so the sticky side is perfectly placed.
Air sealing is critical for energy efficiency and comfort of the building.
Is this now standard practice for window installers?
Great question. It is not at the moment but is considered a best practice approach using our systems.
