2:32 -> Zippo hand warmer: it puts a lot of heat that last for more than 10 hours (constant heat, without fading out) and is instantly rechargeable with lighter fluid.
We can buy a rifle, Grocery shop, pick up a wedding ring, clothes, Toys, Vehicle Tires and such, Fishing Gear, A Couch, Bed, Sofa, Dinner Table, Dresser Drawer, Kitchen and Bath Stuff, Gardening and Yard Tools, and a TV... all in one spot
There are a lot of factors in prepping. One plan I found that successfully combines these is the Marla survive system (check it out on google) without a doubt the most incredible survival website that I've heard of. Check out the extraordinary free video.
You should definitely get a Colman camping grill slash stove they are invaluable in a survival situation and can double as a heating unit as well a couple years ago me and my dad lost power during the winter his stove is electric but we had the camp stove and it worked great any time I have extra money I buy three or four of the refill canisters
Thanks for the video , Im putting together a EDC bag for my daughters car for Christmas , I like those survival cards they will work....... since she has no idea of what to do during a EDC scenario. thanks !
That folding shovel looks great for a vehicle prep kit. Love the walmart vids, Keep'em coming. I usually like to spot check the hunting and fishing sections as well..
Again! Great video! some buddies of mine and myself are planning on doing a primitive camp trip in January in Marble Falls and all your videos are great learning resource for EDC and survival on a budget. Hailing from Odessa, TX BTW.
I was at our local Walmart just before the woohan flu got started, and they had the SparkForce marked at .99 cents. There were seven of them on the hook. I bought every one. 👍🏻👍🏻
Those zippo hand warmers are great, I have two of those large black ones and I ordered a smaller sized white one because I loved them so much. Great to keep in a sweater pocket and warm up your hands very quickly
I’m planning on getting the ust parahatchet as I’m doing a practice camp weekend ( me and my friends being idiots in a tent in my yard) and with tindle I was wonderful if I would be able to make a fire with it
Thank you for posting. At our local Walmart or at least the one that I go to 80% of the stuff you were showing in your video flies out the door. I never knew about those fire starters as far as the Machetes usually the only one you showed 3 kind there. I will definitely try to find some of those fire starters.
I bought that shovel and had to return it because, I never used it once mind you, after tightening and loosening the shovel head (that's how you assemble it and dissemble) the shovel head was limp and no matter how hard I tightened it it would dangle around.
It’s funny how Aventura is playing in the background and this is awesome I like these videos I feel bad because I’m a start doing it and have so much survival gear
@4:03 the mini fire starting kit in the plastic waterproof container i have for myself ive used alot and bought more to replace (bc i used it to much the rod was barley) i would get that bc only its like 7.00 and you get a watertight container and firestarters atleast it worked well for me
Hello Chris I picked up the ozark trail 250 lumen flashlight and it wasn’t a horrible flashlight.I hope you will be able to bring it to the channel soon
I got a knife from Walmart for 4$ which is really rare in Hawaii. I had it about a year as my edc, shitty knife steel but looks nice. It’s a folder with wooden handle. Black wood with brown at the top before the bolster. Very nice knife for the price.
Hi my friend, as you show the cutlery. Nexst to this article you had the "multy spice" This is a verry conforteble thing for cooking on picknick ore camping. Greetings from Brussels (Be)
+DropForgedSurvival the light is bright as hell, 250 lumens on high. The pliers came in handy yesterday at work when we got several boxes to open, I used the serrated knife on it and cut through them easily.
In the flashlight section I caught a glimpse of a pen like flashlight that had a angle on it just like the old military flashlight that I would like to see a video on it.
I went to a Nashville trip a couple weeks ago and we went to a science Museum and in the gift shop there was a survival card to there too but my teacher didn't let me buy it because we were about to leave
A good house hold hint for an item seasonally in that section. Hunters clothing scent remover detergent or sports wash is also the same. If it removes human smells from clothing. I have also found clothing your dog or cat gets to... Takes the smells right out too.
Your view on the Ozark Trail survival kit and he UST survival kit and UST fire starter and the 47 piece Walmart first aid kit and the 57 piece Walmart first aid kit
your Walmart looks really nice to shop at. Up here in Canada we're lucky to find 10 items in the camping section. I wish Walmart would pay that much attention to stocking Canadian stores
They sell a 2400 calorie food bar with 5 year shelf life for 5 dollars. I don't know how they taste but I'll be adding it to my hurricane kit. The 30 dollar Timex Expedition with a 7 dollar rubber sports band is a great edc as well, have had mine for 2 years and works great.
Nice. Have you ever tried to drink nothing but water and the Ration Bars for 3 days? It would be a good test and gives you idea of what to expect when and if SHTF
+David DeBergh I hear you man. Water and coffee should be OK to add with it. Also I used to get headaches alot. I cut out sugar and alot of carbs. Went high veggie, high protein, and high natural fat. I feel soooooo much better. Not sluggish, no headaches, etc took 3 weeks to get adjusted but the payoff was well worth it.
If it were me, I'd buy their $10 nylon camping tarp instead of the cheap folding shovel. Add some paracord tie out loops to the corners of the tarp and add some bungee cords for an instant shelter. The fire starter kit looks like it takes up some room- so you might as well add a Bic lighter, some dryer lint and maybe a small tealight candle to the kit. (2 is one and 1 is none, as they say) Thanks for another fun video. (I've earned over the years that it's better to buy quality gear the first time around and not have to first buy 3 crappy versions that didn't work. And all the "combination" type tools usually ust end up being heavy, clunky and an impractical pain in the butt to use- especially the chinese made stuff. )
660 lumen flashlight you for sure want, get extra batteries, the high lumen means shorter battery life if you leave it on. You will want the high lumen, over 200 is good.
The machete that has the small knife that comes with it. Is far more better than the one you picked up. The blade is much thicker and sturdier. True stainless steel blade. I buy one every chance I get. I use one on my property all the time. It's got a good weight to it. Like if you ever needed to chop a zombies head off or something. You could with ease with that one lol.
Dont know if you ever got the folding shovel or not, dont waste your time on it from Walmart. Go buy one from military surplus as it will hold up for years and better metal. As for fire starters, vaseline and cotton balls can make a stock pile for cheap and works.
honestly dude I would be picking up the 3.97 knives...I have seen guys taking them and getting shaving sharp blades with minimal sharpening, plus it is always a good for back up
I should of bought the dam schrade I saw! Oh and I want that eating tool but canada stinks, I need the eating tool for my kit! That tool card would make a good scraper to make sparks off a ferro rod?
Those same flashlights that are about $13 for 10 are sold at dollar tree.Besides i would much rather have one or two really good flashlights instead twenty dinky one's.
have you looked at the $39.00 mosquito net hammock yet, I'm looking into maby getting one from my Walmart here just south of Houston. thanks for any info.
I have one of the Navaja. I laughed when I saw it, until I saw the price... 99 cents. My $1 knife has done an awesome job of opening every letter and package I've received for the last ~6 years. It's not a hard use item, but I don't feel it's junk.
2:32 -> Zippo hand warmer: it puts a lot of heat that last for more than 10 hours (constant heat, without fading out) and is instantly rechargeable with lighter fluid.
I've been using mine all week. one of my favorite gifts from my mom.
I appreciate the time you take to investigate and inform. Keep up the good work my friend
i cant believe the amount of suvival gear you get in a supermarket!!! i live in the uk and even my local outdoors shop doesn't have that much stuff!!
DropForgedSurvival. crazy!
DropForgedSurvival that's Walmart for ya
DropForgedSurvival very true..get an oil change and alignment while you shop for groceries..girly girls can get their nails done too
Ring of Fire playing while talking about fire starters. Well played sir!
Totally Planned Out.. Called Corporate and Everything.
...... Lmao Jk. Very lucky I must say
Vernon Spu
DropForgedSurvival nice video you have about the same thing as my local walmart in Tennessee
There are a lot of factors in prepping.
One plan I found that successfully combines these is the Marla survive system
(check it out on google) without a doubt the most incredible survival website that I've heard of.
Check out the extraordinary free video.
Vernon Spurrell lol
You should definitely get a Colman camping grill slash stove they are invaluable in a survival situation and can double as a heating unit as well a couple years ago me and my dad lost power during the winter his stove is electric but we had the camp stove and it worked great any time I have extra money I buy three or four of the refill canisters
the camilaus machete looked like a good find
That package opener would make a great gut hook for cleaning big game
The knife/machete isle is my favorite isle too.
As a fire starter I always use dryer lint. I wrap it in tin foil and store it in a zip lock bag
Check out the Stanley camp cookware set, I want to buy it but know much about it.
Thanks for the video , Im putting together a EDC bag for my daughters car for Christmas , I like those survival cards they will work....... since she has no idea of what to do during a EDC scenario. thanks !
survival card makes for an awesome EDC. disappears in your wallet/pocket. easily handles easy to mid level tasks. thumbs up!
I just picked them up .... borrowed them from a friend here in town.. I like them actually.
That folding shovel looks great for a vehicle prep kit. Love the walmart vids, Keep'em coming. I usually like to spot check the hunting and fishing sections as well..
Will do. The shovel is on my short list of prospects.
+DropForgedSurvival That survival card is fantastic as well, always carry it in my wallet.
+David DeBergh Thanks for chiming in with some feedback!
the ruler is for measurements on a map for distance.
Yes. I realized that afterwards. Thanks for chiming in! Take care
Or for your di- I mean what
In order to find the best selection of things... u have to ask which Walmart stresses camping and hunting equip. They are all different.
Again! Great video! some buddies of mine and myself are planning on doing a primitive camp trip in January in Marble Falls and all your videos are great learning resource for EDC and survival on a budget. Hailing from Odessa, TX BTW.
the shovel works pretty well. have to bend more of course but still good.
have both of the items you chose. great minds.
Wow those knifes were so cooool
The multi-tool I use for out in the woods for shaving bark down for fires and I use the knife edge for cutting fishing line
Love the video man I am definitely going to pick up one of those belts thanks for the info in the description.
Jacob Hernandez are they reusable..what do they run on?
I have a oazark trail flash light. It is amazing I got it with a multi tool. You may like that better. But it is just a suggestion.
I’m planning on getting the ust parahatchet as I’m doing a practice camp weekend ( me and my friends being idiots in a tent in my yard) and with tindle I was wonderful if I would be able to make a fire with it
Ive personaly carried the multi tool card for 2 years and love it you got yours for a dollar less than mine surprisingly havent had to sharpen it
If it works for you! get at it!
NAVAJA means knife/blade in Spanish
You are correct but it is also a very specific blade design as well.
DropForgedSurvival the foldable shouvl gets sang in in and locks up
Thank you for posting. At our local Walmart or at least the one that I go to 80% of the stuff you were showing in your video flies out the door. I never knew about those fire starters as far as the Machetes usually the only one you showed 3 kind there. I will definitely try to find some of those fire starters.
The cheap Wal-Mart emergency tent work good as a liner in my shelter
I bought that shovel and had to return it because, I never used it once mind you, after tightening and loosening the shovel head (that's how you assemble it and dissemble) the shovel head was limp and no matter how hard I tightened it it would dangle around.
Your must make a video of how you are starting with the same fire starter😜👍
I got the ozark trail pocket knife for 88cents at my Walmart a long time ago
yo ok so by the light me tinder, there are some water, windproof matches. I use them and they are great
I've actually used the survival tool as my EDC for a while. Cheap and damn good for what you pay
It’s funny how Aventura is playing in the background and this is awesome I like these videos I feel bad because I’m a start doing it and have so much survival gear
with the first spork ther was a gerber box with a picture of bear grylls on it which looked like a survival kit .
can you look at it and test it out.
the ruler is for maps (distance)
@4:03
the mini fire starting kit in the plastic waterproof container i have for myself ive used alot and bought more to replace (bc i used it to much the rod was barley) i would get that bc only its like 7.00 and you get a watertight container and firestarters atleast it worked well for me
I work at Walmart in Houston and your stores have more stuff then what we have
You should check out the camilus carnivore x, good steel and treatment, good for shavings and notches.
Hello Chris I picked up the ozark trail 250 lumen flashlight and it wasn’t a horrible flashlight.I hope you will be able to bring it to the channel soon
I saw them while u were filming and they just caught my eye.
Oh ok awesome. I can look out for them in future Walmarts I visit.
I got a knife from Walmart for 4$ which is really rare in Hawaii. I had it about a year as my edc, shitty knife steel but looks nice. It’s a folder with wooden handle. Black wood with brown at the top before the bolster. Very nice knife for the price.
Nice! $4 seems like a good budget deal.
Would you be able to do a review type thing with the Zippo hand warmer
Maybe
Congratulations you've just earned yourself another subscriber lol. Keep the great vids coming brother and stay safe out there!
Haha welcome aboard! Be sure to scour the feed and leave in constructive comments and ideas freely.
Hi my friend, as you show the cutlery. Nexst to this article you had the "multy spice" This is a verry conforteble thing for cooking on picknick ore camping. Greetings from Brussels (Be)
I picked up the Ozark Trails 11 in 1 multi-tool pliers and a Life-Gear search light last week.
Nice! How are you liking them?
+DropForgedSurvival the light is bright as hell, 250 lumens on high. The pliers came in handy yesterday at work when we got several boxes to open, I used the serrated knife on it and cut through them easily.
Good Deal! I really appreciate the feedback!
Can you do something about foods to take on camping trips?
Good vid, i would have liked for u to have opened everything that you recieved online. Thx for sharing👍
In the flashlight section I caught a glimpse of a pen like flashlight that had a angle on it just like the old military flashlight that I would like to see a video on it.
I'd like to see you open them so we can see the stuff better than in the package 😁
Takes the smells right out too.
the folding shovel is awesome it is light weight and easy to fold
Roger that
Baabaamage 3 Armys Maggots! you get it? ;D
Your view on the Ozark Trail survival kit and he UST survival kit and UST fire starter and the 47 piece Walmart first aid kit and the 57 piece Walmart first aid kit
Hahaha quite a list. I'll look into it.
The card tool. I've always wondered if they could be turned into a make shift axe/hatchet using just the card itself (and paracord or zip ties)
Meaning could it take down a branch big enough to attach it to, split that branch for attaching the card and prep the branch for use as well?
Can u do a video for two person edc
your Walmart looks really nice to shop at. Up here in Canada we're lucky to find 10 items in the camping section. I wish Walmart would pay that much attention to stocking Canadian stores
That is a shame man. Hopefully they will get on it in the future.
Cool video it's good gear most of it works good
Buy the shovel it's good I bought one and love it
Nice? Thanks for chiming in on this. How long have you had it for?
They sell a 2400 calorie food bar with 5 year shelf life for 5 dollars. I don't know how they taste but I'll be adding it to my hurricane kit. The 30 dollar Timex Expedition with a 7 dollar rubber sports band is a great edc as well, have had mine for 2 years and works great.
Nice. Have you ever tried to drink nothing but water and the Ration Bars for 3 days? It would be a good test and gives you idea of what to expect when and if SHTF
+DropForgedSurvival I get migraines if I don't have a cup of coffee or an energy drink through the day. :( But I can make coffee over an open flame.
+DropForgedSurvival I'm trying to do more water but the migraines are horrible.
David DeBergh Oh I know.. I was miserable. Find me a on facebook and we can talk about what I did in Length and What helped me.
If it were me, I'd buy their $10 nylon camping tarp instead of the cheap folding shovel. Add some paracord tie out loops to the corners of the tarp and add some bungee cords for an instant shelter. The shovel and the orange michete is good
you can get a better real deal military issue one that looks like that at an army navy store for 10 to 15 bucks and its made from better steel
also I find the ozark trail lights are darn good build wise the better ones atleast
Thanks for the feedback. That is good to know! Thank you again.
Just saw this....total contrast after 2020 now there is nothing in stock every time I go to the store.
That sawyer water filter by the waterproof fire starter is a fantastic thing to have. It also can screw right on top of a regular Aquafina bottle.
Jason Cole1219....100000 gallons!!!! Thats near 2 olympic size pools!!!! They are awesome
660 lumen flashlight you for sure want, get extra batteries, the high lumen means shorter battery life if you leave it on. You will want the high lumen, over 200 is good.
Sporks are fking awesome, i hold a foldable spork in my bag at all times.
I had one gave it to a co worker..so I'm going to replace it
Dont know if you ever got the folding shovel or not, dont waste your time on it from Walmart. Go buy one from military surplus as it will hold up for years and better metal. As for fire starters, vaseline and cotton balls can make a stock pile for cheap and works.
Imagine if they had trench/tactical shovel my dad has one it hurt if you get hit by
I LIKE THE BASEBALL BAT FLASHLIGHT AND THE COMPASS WHISTLE
Here in Alberta I have NEVER SEEN that much stuff at a walmart nothing even close... I wish we had selection like that man.
I keep hearing that Canadian Walmarts aren't as stocked. Maybe because they are newer there?
They are different all around. Different stock different feel. The camping sections of most are tiny here. Maybe just not the same market.
+Apocalyptic 1985 maybe... In the city or?
Can you test them at the end please
I bought both the card tool and fire kit just before I watch the vid
The $1.97 is actually not bad of a pocket knife. I bought one about 6 years ago and still use it now and then.
try the Zippo hand warmer
How do you like that?
is there any way that you could do a $50 BOB tutorial
honestly dude I would be picking up the 3.97 knives...I have seen guys taking them and getting shaving sharp blades with minimal sharpening, plus it is always a good for back up
I here you. I've some of them are ripe for the picking and others..... Not so much! Even at $4 I'm picky.
I should of bought the dam schrade I saw! Oh and I want that eating tool but canada stinks, I need the eating tool for my kit! That tool card would make a good scraper to make sparks off a ferro rod?
if you still want to review the 57 piece first aid kit for camping
Are you saying you have an unused one?
Im asking if u can talk about it cause alot of ppl have the basic first aid for home use not outdoor use.
+Andreas Paschalis sure. I can work on picking one up.
Thx
Also the multi tool that comes with the camullus machete is my edc knife it's worth a looking at also love your channel by the way
Thanks.. I keep circling back around to it.
Please tell me you're going yo beat the crap out of that Gerber bolo machete, and I would like to see you test the Coleman camp knife.
I can certainly Try... Even Cheaper "$30" Items can add up quickly... As soon as I am able.. The Crap beating will commence.
Wow,that was the most stocked I have ever seen a Wal-Mart camping section..lol
Really?
Yes
The package Oper er could be used as a gut hook
I live in San Antonio as well...do any Walmart's in our area sell the mountain house 5 day survival food packs?? I only seam to find the single packs
You want fire starter material look no further that the smoke shop and get some cig filters use for fire tended
Those same flashlights that are about $13 for 10 are sold at dollar tree.Besides i would much rather have one or two really good flashlights instead twenty dinky one's.
Yup... 5-6 pack for a dollar
watching this in 2023 and looking at these prices is crazy to me i miss when things were actually affordable
You must get a hammock !!!!!!🤪😁 please!
The ruler is actually very helpful
I have that gerber machete...very good
have you looked at the $39.00 mosquito net hammock yet, I'm looking into maby getting one from my Walmart here just south of Houston. thanks for any info.
I can do some research and look into it, then get back to you. Feel free to find me on Facebook with any questions as well.
+DropForgedSurvival sounds good. thanks.
Ring of fire played during the fire gear 😂😂😂
Pretty well timed!
machete wise check out the camillus used to be a heavy built blade
Ok cool. I'll Look into it.
I'm interested and adding survival fishing equipment do you have any ideas?
good wepons to use in survival
I have one of the Navaja. I laughed when I saw it, until I saw the price... 99 cents. My $1 knife has done an awesome job of opening every letter and package I've received for the last ~6 years. It's not a hard use item, but I don't feel it's junk.
Will you do a video on your survival bag (Updated
