Yup 100% remember. Got it the first day it came out on game preview. Also remember how the Mint Mace used to be the best weapon in the game and you could get it almost immediately by researching the mint cap mints by the strange devices. Also was called the Mint Mallet back then and could be used as a hammer. I fondly remember the backyard when it didn’t even have the pond yet. Great times and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the journey from day one to now. My number 1 or 2 survival game of all time.
I remember watching RUclips videos of people playing the game for only 30 minutes because there was a time limit I remember when the sandbox was just full of dry grass I remember when the mint made was a broken overpowered weapon that basically ended the game I remember the haze being only infected mites weevils and I think there was one more I remember the pond not having the fish I remember when milk molars weren’t a thing and I especially remember the old hedge broodmother
I wish that every game ever made was just made and no updates just the old day version of them because whenever a game is made when updates come out the old version is always better
Umm I'll agree the old version was great for nostalgia and very fun but also filled to the brim with bugs, inconsistencies,and unbalance in enemies the wolf spider not matter how far you got was always a wildy dangerous threat like the old version was amazing but if all games only were old version we would have millions of bugging near unplayable games so much less in content for some of them and hundreds of bankrupt companies grounded now I phenomenal and has grown so much sure there's some things that are annoying an lead to boringness or just plain unfun that lead u to want to play the old version I really wish they never took out thors iguana I would have fucking loved that boss or the redant queen but the game nowadays is far better in terms of content playability and fairness if it was only the first version no broodmother not mantis no mant no director no termite king (not technically a boss but still) not assistant manager no wasp queen no infected brood mother no black widows and absolutely no story which is what makes grounded so much fun is the variety yes it would be fun to have an old version mode or if it was only the old version people and probably you would loss interest quicker than you think plus obsidian is planning on adding old and some of the takin out things into the new updat so there may be nostalgia things added in future updates and maybe even thors iguana

I played this game from the demo and I gotta say, the game is now a whole different thing from the og days, like in the og days the brood mother was really strong it was the strongest in the game, but now it got nerfed and....this is just sad😢
Playing grounded now with my girl, and I had played it early on, the amount of re learning I have been doing is crazy, I remember all of these fights and loved them, running into the added content and rewritten stuff has been SOOO weird but I love it. Kind of tempted to load up the old save file to see if it works still

Honestly love this game just started playing it a few weeks ago but its so fun i hope theu continue to add new things to the game possibly a new map area or whole new map in general with new bugs and creatures weapons and armor just such an amazing game abd the fact you dont have to pay extra for content when they do updates is top tier in my opinion

Everyone keeps saying how much they miss things, the only thing we don't have anymore is a slightly harder wolf spider lmao, anything else can still happen such as being attacked by wolf spiders and larva
I get it, people miss alpha grounded, but also like, cmon, it was early access, things change, not to mention the old broodmother, it’s location and model were just a placeholder yknow.
The biggest threats to me will always be Wolf spider Mosquito And the stationary antlion. Wolf spider because I never find them first. Mosquito because they randomly charge me. And to me, the stationary antlion is a boss in a nutshell
