I like this new format, but I miss being able to see the titles of the games being presented like you did with the JLPT N4 grammar video. I've been having trouble identifying a few, and I'd like to try using them for my studies. Thanks for the videos!

Thanks for letting me know! What if I included them in the video description instead? Or would you personally prefer in the video? :)

Awesome video as usual. Do more recommendation videos on videogames like the Boku no Natsu yasumi one really enjoyed that one. That Is if you want to haha. I'm really struggling on what game to play next I'm thinking of playing one of the final fantasy pixel remasters but don't know if its a good idea for n4 level.

Did you ever consider doing a list ranking games by difficulty? I really like the type of the games you usually bring to your channel, and i wonder what would be the ideal order to play some of them, as i'm still an intermediate learner.

The grammar was pretty understandable, thanks for your efforts😊😊😊
But I wonder what the game is called?
    Is it totally in Japanese?

I came across this while trying know how to say i dont know how to say in Japanese.
    にほんごでなんといえばいいのかわからない
Can you explain what baii noka means? Best i could find online is.
endorsing and questioning the preceding statement
lamenting reflections on the preceding statement

    • @GameGengo
      @GameGengo  Год назад +3

ばいい is (the hypothetical ば) + いい (good), so literally would be "if/would be good"
のか is a way of asking a question about the previous statement.
So a literal breakdown of "にほんごでなんといえばいいのかわからない" would be "I don't know what it would be good for me to say in Japanese"
      日本語で - In Japanese
      何と - What
いえばいい - Would be good to say
      のか - questioning
      わからない - I don't know

I prefer to think of ~ば~ほど as
    if x and x then y
makes me remember the verb is used twice compared with thinking of it as meaning "the more... the more..."

In this form, the verb always gets an え before the ば?

it's called kateikei in some dictionary like wiktionary: 仮定形、don't get that confused with the potential form of verbs: 可能動詞。 they sometimes looks the same but not when looked through its etymology or diachronically.

Hearing the summary of what grammar points are covered in this video, my only thought is:
    A Ba-Ba-Ba-Ba-Barbara Ann
    Ba-Ba-Ba-Ba-Barbara Ann
    Barbara Ann
    Take my hand~
