all sounds from KORG POLY 800 (except drums)
this little 80s analog fella, born in 1983, is 8 voices paraphonic, which means you can play 8 tones at once, but they share one analog filter. its a very controversial synth, some love it others hate it. the button-based interface can be a little annoying, but it is really not complicated to understand. the limited early midi support does not allow you to transfer patches via sysex software. some users even say it has thin sound but they probably didn’t try to mess with both oscillators detuning and stacking them or even use the classic chord memory trick to play several octave tones in unison. in such case it sounds in mine opinion very full and i like the colour of the sound which is really unique. the enhanced envelopes are great for mellow pads and string sounds. the built-in chorus is also very pleasant and can bring the sound to life. onboard simple sequencer and chord memory function are nice to have as well. and not to forget, it can be powered by batteries and used like a keytar with the built pegs for a guitar strap 🤘🤓
i got this one for about hundred euros some time ago, they are a bit more expensive nowadays, but still pretty affordable for an 8 voice analog synth. they also seem to be getting more desirable with the time, so if you find one for a reasonable price, i recommend getting it at least for it's unique analog sound or just as a cool piece of history ✌️

Tengo un KORG POLY 800 desde 1990, segun quien me lo vendio ese sintetizador pertenecio al tecladista del grupo de los 80S The Motels, funciona perfecto aunque hace algunos años se le agoto la bateria interna y hay que reemplazarla, actualmente lo uso como controlador con mi ROLAND SC-33 SOUND CANVAS, saludos!

Eso es genial, es un instrumento muy bueno por sí solo, y sí, también puedes controlar equipos externos con él, pero me encanta el sonido analógico específico que tiene. ¡disfrutar!

for this synth i don’t have it and am not sure if there ever was one, you should probably use the joystick even by “keytar” playing, never tried tho
