I've never in my life heard a female narrator for a Thomas story. And it is PERFECT! The voices for the engines are great. And the overall voice is just so soothing!
Well this certainly was an interesting story. It was pretty creative for Henry to not have the coal problem for a change while others did. Shows how far he'd come from the days of his rebuild and being in Gordon's league.
This is the thing. Henry was given a Stanier Black 5 rebuild yet the TV series allowed Sharon Miller to turn him into steaming problem totally arrogant to the fact he was only like that when he had his small firebox in his Hybrid form. Really got to me that did and was one of many reasons I switched from TV to the books. Andrew Brenner on the other hand did a better job especially with slip coaches. Pity Mattel destroyed the storytelling with merchandising.
@@ChimpManZ1264 Yeah though the needless coal problem initially started up again with the Magic Railroad which Britt Allcroft herself wrote. The one thing I did like about it was "It's good to be Gordon"; just a sweet moment for Gordon to come back to help Henry but for all that it would've been better if Henry had been in his old shape.
@@Damocles178 Didn't she have an original script that the Americans wouldn't collaborate with because of how they wanted it to be more Shining Time based. The movie was a total stranger to the British Audience of those like me who didn't watch American Kids TV.
Apparently Gordon secretly likes pulling goods trains but he doesn't show it or admit it. But deep down he feels it's a nice change for him and gives him a break from the hustle of the express
This episode was pretty good. The plot is a bit uncommon around the story creations, and it seems like you have delivered a good one. It fits very good in place with Gordon as the main character for this story. And using One Tram Band's cover for the intro makes me happy, it's basically my favorite cover on the original theme. Great job.
Great story this feels straight out of the classic series! I love how with the coal issues Henrys one of the characters unaffected by it since he's always used whenever there's coal issues. The reveal of Lady Hatt being on the train was nice too
There's a first: Gordon being the one to rescue Edward. Helping Lady Hatt serves as a sweet bonus. 😁👍 I guess this means Henry will be taking the Express until all the bad coal is replaced? 😉
Think about when Henry had to punish the boys with stones on the bridge, when he sneezed at them after they dropped the stones on Henry, and broke the windows on the express coaches including destroying Sodor property
Excellent work! A very high quality production and a great adaption of Anstis' story. I wonder if you'll end up doing the full trilogy. Well done!
Soon ;)
Good narrating :)

5:39 *Sir Topham Hat apologies to Gordon and thanks him*
I am loving the narration here. I like how grumpy you made Gordon, and never gets cross with Edward despite his grumping.
this narrator is absolutely amazing
Fancy hearing her narrating the story. It’s nice to hear her voice again.

These are very well done. You're bringing me right back to my childhood with your filming style. Thank you for that.

Gordon was very cross
Gordon pumped his pistons and huffed huffily away

Excellent voiceovers! I can't believe I've heard her voice in a non-BOTY story! :D
The quality is amazing. Keep up the great work.
