Most sitcoms will give you at most, a "chuckle" every now and then. Not Martin...nah. I remember one episode (I think it was when he was fighting the traffic ticket in court), my siblings and I were laughing so damn hard and loud my father angrily came into the room to tell us to quiet down... before long he was laughing right along with us. That show was hands down the most consistently hilarious, ugly face laughing, sitcom EVER.
Martin is hands down arguably the most funniest comedian of all times his comedy is so timeless and endless even his old sitcom shows he was years ahead of any other comedians out there even surpassed Eddie and he still have your side hurting from laughter to this very day.
I don't think people realize how truly iconic Martin was and is. He gets some credit but nowhere near enough for all his amazing contributions to movies, tv and comedy in general. His show is still one of the most beloved sitcoms from the 90's and is still special to so many people who grew up with it and passed it down to the next generation. A true legend.
Martin will always be a legend. A iconic figure . There wasn't much to watch on TV back in the 90s. Not many shows that you would be crying laughing. You got average laughter from fresh prince, cosby show, and a few other shows in those days. But the show everybody watched. The show where you cried laughing. A show where you could be depressed, or feeling real low, and after watching it would have you grinning from ear to ear. WAS " MAHH- INNNNN " Even today, his reruns managed to stay hot, even with a whole new generation of youth. Now that's alot. So what Martin Lawrence was able to accomplish is really remarkable, and deserves some type of honor .
