Neighbours like Azerbaijan and Pakistan now pose mounting challenges to national stability, while inaction also risks problems fermenting elsewhere. As Iran's now overstretched military copes with multiple engagements across the region already, the Iranian military, defence industry and IRCG are being warned that they must undergo structural reforms or be crushed from all sides. But will the Iranian military embrace the reforms, will recent tensions in the Caucasus draw Iran into the conflict, and would a deepening relationship with Russia or China salvage Iran's hard-fought strategic gains? Always interesting, thought-provoking. But if I may suggest what I think would be a source of improvement for the quality, scope and depth of your work in general, I would like to see a greater diversity of guests. They tend to issue from a certain end of the political spectrum (case in point in this episode the American Enterprise Institute which are in IMO more ideologically driven than pragmatic on many issues) and from the Anglosphere which while globally dominant has peculiar intellectual blind-spots. There are many experts who speak English fluently without being Anglo-cultural themselves and I think their perspectives would add great value to your discussions.

Been wondering about the rhetoric of Greater Azerbajan given recent events-if they could secure southern Azeri regions, there would be no need to attack Armenia considering how Iranian Azeri regions already connect the two halves. Either way, this is definitely something I hope to see more people talk about.
