KK'S PRIEST Premieres 13-Minute Documentary Detailing the Return of K.K. Downing and the Band's Debut Performance in Wolverhampton, U.K.
Today, in anticipation of the approaching album release, the band has revealed a brand new, 13-minute documentary film directed by up and coming British filmmaker Sam Singer. The piece was filmed at the first official KK’S PRIEST show this past July 6, 2023 at KK’s Steel Mill in Wolverhampton, England. The documentary gives a raw, behind-the-scenes look at the band preparing for the concert, and includes exclusive live footage as well as personal commentary from K.K. Downing, Tim "Ripper" Owens, and the band.

One thing I find Very humorous, is to hear Craig from Tailgunner warming up to I want Out by Helloween in the background during Ripper's interview. Fantastic documentary all round

K.K. pulled a great band together which leaves the current Judas Priest line-up in the dust. He should bury his grievances and move forward with his fantastic new band. Great song-writing, great performance of all band members. And Ripper is now on his peak. And they found a matching home at Napalm Records.

K.K.'s Priest is awesome! Now, we have 2 great Priest bands! What could be better?
I just watched KK's Priest and their set at Bloodstock in 2023. And they totally kicked ass! The live sound of the band was 10 out of 10. And the band just tore it up. There shouldn't be any animosity between the guys in Judas Priest with K.K. Downing. He's still a consummate professional and giving the fans what they want (can you ever have too much Priest?). And most importantly Still Kicking Fucking Heavy Metal Ass on stage! You would not want to follow KK's Priest on stage after their set. Best to fake a wrist sprain and go home. lol!

There’s a clear double standard when it comes to Rob leaving the band and being able to come back I’m sure can ruffle some feathers but that’s the way it is when you’re with somebody creatively for 40 years of the time they should all kiss and make up it’s better for everyone involved especially the fans it’s sad really.

Judas priest now without Gleen and since Rob cannot do this to much time ,they are almost over !!! Ian Hill never wrote a song so KK Priest is gonna continue and fly the Priest Flag !!! They have a better singer than Rob ( sorry priest purists) and much younger , younger drummer and guitar player and bass !!! So they have at least 8-10 years more if Kk wants it !

Classic heavy metal tunes! Great songs the majority.
However, in my opinion their on stage performance lacks, too much awkard moving around, a lot of playing with their back to the crowd etc... and i would love to see a better drummer with more solid sound and more creative playing.
Lets see what else we gonna hear from the Ripper machine and the legend KK
I think it looks pretty damn good for the first show ever. Better sounding and looking then most bands out there. We sound good, we look good, we are live and we play and sing like the records. Something that a lot of bands can’t do. The First show🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽

I'm a big fan of K.K. and his new band seems excellent. However, I have to say I'm disappointed with how this video was put together. Not saying this to be mean, but I recently went back to college to learn the basics of video editing (after teaching myself all I could), and I feel confident that I could have done a better job with the footage used here, both visually and sonically.
You should have. This guy showed up and did this for free the day of the show with no planing. Its not official it’s a fan doing it for love and I think it’s awesome. I Hope to see your version soon 🤘🏽🤘🏽

Having lived through the 70's and 80's rock scene its incredibly weird to see completely sober musicians nowadays. To me it just doesn't seem right seeing 50-70 year olds doing a 20 year old kids job. No more sex, drugs and rock and roll. More like snooze, Metamucil and wheel chairs.
