Kudos to Ripper for getting into good shape for this band. I know he was "away" (he was never truly inactive), but he really got back into touring condition, he looks 20 years younger than he did a few years ago!
Kk's Priest is performing on October 4th @ Fox Theatre in Riverside and on October 5th @ The Magnolia in San Diego. I'm a bartender at The Magnolia and am stoked this band is bringing Metal to my city!
Thanks for posting these killer videos, I got lucky and snagged front row center for this show. If you're a fan of Metal and you sat home, you missed one killer show. Not only that, you missed a real live show. All of these bands sang for real, I paid for a live show and got one. 🤘😝🤘
I'm telling everyone, this is a top 5 live band to see live. Songs are great and rippers voice is incredible. I'm in California and sad that kk's priest isn't coming here soon.
@@goldenrod3215 you ain't kidding, I mean the guy is on fire. I saw him with Priest, I regret missing Ripper when he was in Iced Earth. That album was incredible, one of the best things I heard since the heyday of Metal.
Tim is definitely sounding a lot better than Halford from what I've seen/heard. And of course KK is up there killin' it like always, no surprise there!
This sounds 10x better then priest sounds live now! Mainly cause ripper still sounds like he did 20 yrs ago and Halford sounds like the 72 yr old man he is !
@@omniken66 lol youtube is a click of the button, He sounds awful lol if he leaves mid range( sound like a old lady shrieking) and he's constantly looking at the teleprompter. @@Madmetalmaniac42069it's not about technique my friends, his vocal cords simply don't allow him to touch high notes anymore. He does sometimes, but often it sounds forced and squeakie. Let's not compare Rob in his 70s with Tim in his 50s. Let's see the facts - at this stage Tim sings better. It's like I'd say Bruce Dickinson still can sing like he did in 1981. Keep it real.
@@omniken66Rob sounds better than in the first shows, and I'm surprised he still reached some of the higher notes. But keep it real, he can't go where Tim goes. It's not a fair comparison either, as one is in his 70s the other in his 50s. But kept it real, as if today this is the better live band. And that's ok. There's a difference between a club band and a stadium band.....Priest still playing in front of 10K + these guys are playing in front of 1K and we're not talking about festivals with 4-5 other bands playing the bill....and multiple days!
They just start.. and JP still play some big venues but they sounded not as JP anymore, they real name now Rob Priest. KK Priest is more JP now then Rob Priest
Let's face it, invincible shield is a good album, but if it wirkte not be Judas Priest, it would not have sold half the albums and tickets. Priest made its name in the 70s until painkiller. After painkiller, sorry, but they live from their old fame. Not that they are bad, but I find their concerts bland and boring now. Rob was never too entertaining on stage to begin with, but now he's hardly even walking. He still sings ok, considering she and cancer that struck him lately, but the whole thing is lacking the necessary energy for years now.
Raise your fist has already been done by Dora. Raise your first and yell -Alice Cooper. This is not an anthem to solidfy a legacy with. If you like to drink a lot while living under a rock, this bar band material will definitely please you on the second leg. This tour was centered around LA Guns and that's sad but at the end of the day it was great to be welcomed by the Burning Witches while being ignored by conceited musicians that expect people to travel hundreds of miles just to watch a karaoke set that's done every single night.
This band is the only thing that makes sense and proudly carries the flag of the true metal legacy. And your opinion is needed here just like a box of sand in the desert. So rest in peace, metal virgin (because what do you know about metal?)

Very good!!!A Ripper Owens no le cuesta nada llegar a los tonos.Es un privilegio poder ver una banda así en estos tiempos.Lon living Kk' Priest.
Thanks for sharing this one! Man that looked like a show!! Long live KKs Priest!
What an awesome show! Band is great!
So Awesome! Thanks for the video! Please come to Winnipeg guys!

Roll on August here in the UK
When I get to see these guys at Stonedead Festival 🤘
We were there. 🤘🤘🤘 They rocked! I came primarily for Burning Witches, but all 3 bands kicked some major ass!
Great video thanks for sharing
Their the best band on the planet 🌎.

I live nearby couldn't make it hope they had a good night
That was a great show last night.
If I had a bucket list dying wish it would be to see those 2 blonde heads flying in the air on stage playing beyond the realms of death!!!!!!!!
"Beyond The Realms of Death"🤘
Is that awesome or what
Ripper's pulling off the screams better than Halford. this is soo good.
One hell of a band…..wow
Being a diehard Priest fan, it's difficult to say it but this band is far superior right now
This version of priest.
KK Priest rules
Hard disagree
No doubt about it

Damn they sound great!!! One thing I noticed is Ripper definitely got better with his stage presence. Awesome video!!!
Ritchie, AJ,and Ripper could form a hell of a band.
Maybe a few years later
the drummer kicks major ass.
This guy here drums fine, so... 🤷
But if at all: Dave Holland.
Just wish they had Les binks on the drums
Always crushing it.
Maybe Ripper is the future of Judas Priest after being fired 20 years ago

Yes, the difference in this case is that the ”Club band” is better than Priest. 😅
