the earl grey Benu is one of the prettiest pens I've ever seen in my life. I really think I'm going to need to jump on it and get one for my collection.
My husband just bought me the Benu Euphoria Iced Caramel Latte for finishing my bachelor’s degree. I had my eye on it for months, and it’s so much more beautiful than I thought even from the photos. I’m officially a huge Benu fan. The sparkle is SO tastefully done in their pens!
That Fig Sailor ink is beautiful! It reminds me of green figs (a friend of mine calls them "dragon" figs), where the skins are green and the insides are a lovely deep wine color. If that's what they were going for, it makes sense that the green sheen would be so dominant.
Curses drew. I always said if there is a Benu beverage pen that speaks to a beverage I love, I am buying it. Everything about that pen speaks to me and I just ordered it.
Honestly, the last couple of new stuff videos had given me a sense of security that I had perhaps reached a saturation point in collecting pens - a false sense of security, as it turns out! This video has a number of items that I really, really want!
Drew, you’re not alone in how you feel about that Sailor pen. Owning a piece of culture or history like that makes me emotional. If I ever own a very expensive pen, it will be one like that. So lovely and personal.

I was too late to get the kit for the previous blue color, but I'll probably have to wait till January to place another order with your guys (darn no-spend after that bigger order last month). Wow, that Earl Gray pen! Clicking into this video, I knew Drew would have me wanting to get more pens, but it is just too much fun watching him introduce everything... so I couldn't resist. Now to add more items to my wishlist for a future order. :P
Hi Drew, The art on Frontenac Blue is a representation of the streets of Old Quebec City (do a Google search and be prepared to see some of the most beautiful streets in North America, inside the continent's only walled city). Château Frontenac is a huge hotel located inside the city, and it looks like there's an image of it down the left side of the box. I visited Quebec City and stayed at the Château as part of a school trip. Never forgotten it.
My Diamine "Winter Miracle" is sheening almost that heavily, I can't see the purple unless I ink wash with it, but it's a deeper green. Now I covet this, too!

Benu Margarita would be quite refreshing. (Kinda) question: why are new pens always in that plastic sleeve? I get that they are new and should be protected, but seeing that gorgeous (omg, it's insane how gorgeous it is!) Sailor, it feels inappropriate. Especially as it comes with propet textile sleeve that it deserves. Is there a reason for a pen to be packaged in plastic foil. Btw Drew, flex nib really sits in love with your handwriting.

I tried to resist but had to buy the Earl Grey Benu; it's too pretty. The Kaweco ornament always cracks me up; why do them make them so big?! 😂

Not lavender, no. It’s usually cornflowers.
Yes, some types of Earl Grey contain lavender flowers but blue cornflower is more common. Cornflower is probably what BENU was going for. - Drew
