That 9 iron slice out of the bunker is the best shot I’ve ever seen in the history of golf.
Completely agree
It IS the greatest shot in golf history!
It might be the best shot any of us will ever see
best golf shot ever.
Ridiculous 🔥 it would rival the super long bunker shot at Pebble beach
I wouldn’t even attempt 75% of those shots. The other 25% I would’ve killed someone in the gallery.
LOL that driver outve the rough... I would’ve killed someone for dure
Even Tiger Woods makes bad shots. He just makes really good shots after the bad shots.
@K Dubbs That is his ability to adapt his body from the injuries he suffered and age catching up to him.
@K Dubbs I agree as well, he has bulked up so much, it is going to put to much strain on his back. Even Tiger admitted he spent to much time in the gym and that hurt him. Cheers mate 👍
Man that's the best way I've ever heard it put...be can take crazy risks cause he's so good he can handle any situation
Definition of a great golfer. It's all about how you recover
Yeah...I heard a commentator once say, "Woods plays bad well..."
I don't know what's more legendary, these shots or the fact that the very first thing you see when the video starts is Tiger taking a swing with his hat on backwards.
🐐
😆😆😆 Just had to go back and check that 😅👍
DIFFERENT LEVEL!! Loved watching these shots again
Hey Rick!
Rick Shiels Golf yeah that shot at 2:14 I don’t know anyone else who hits that..
Love your channel Rick
I’m sub of your channel and I appreciate the content rick.
Rick Shiels Golf
When I was watching this I thought about you. And here you are.
Tiger never shoots out of bounds.....he just sets up trickshots for himself
I love how the vast majority of these shots just elicit laughter and incredulous ‘come on!’s from the announcers.
Bill Lee o
This man is the single reason I love golf. Period, changed the sport when it needed it most.
Then came back again when it needed him more
Don't lie Eric, we all know you love Colin Montgonerie 😂😂❤
This to me is what truly made him a legend. So many times his drive or approach shot would go wayward and make him have to make one of these kinds of shots to save his round. And so many times, he did exactly that.
Maybe the greatest scrambling player ever.
2:15 in, the best shot I have ever seen. The way he finished his follow through, a long shot out of the bunker, the amount of side spin he got unbelievable the 🐐
Imagine if it would have gone in
@@theleeboys7401 I know...
Shot of the century it would of been
It just doesn’t make sense!
it damn well might be the best golf shot ever hit
I remember it, he took ages over it...shame he missed the putt
Jack Nicklaus has won the most majors and is quite rightly lauded and applauded. On the other hand when Tiger got his game going , we have never seen and and unlikely to ever see again anything to rival his execution and sheer domination of a golf course.Simply a force of nature.
I grew up in the 70s and 80s era and watch alot of golf in those days. I remember how the golfers in those days were very creative with their game. Then Tiger came along and all these guys he plays with just tee it up and hit straight down there. Not much work in their game . But Tiger knew how to create a shot. He hit low, he hit high, hit a power draw, power fade, duck hook, slice, and he knew how to scramble. No wonder he won so many tournaments. He has a all around great game.
No matter how many times this is suggested to me I will always watch
Listen to the announcers of 'young' Tiger compared to older Tiger. Back then they were surprised when he made these shots. Later they were surprised when he didn't.
That was one of the greatest Tiger Woods highlight reels I've ever seen.
I could use some of those escapes from my recent drives 😂😂. Amazing
0:33 heh heh heheheh
@@abhaysuryamahesh9286 No, it's heh, hehheh heh
@@MrJiminibobster no its hehe he he
Hydraeks it’s haa haa ha haaa
Sounds like Peter Griffin!
Classic Gary McCord reaction
So fortunate. Was in my 20's and 30's when he was at his best. Was a great time to be a mortal golfer learning what "could be".
I was fortunate enough to walk 18 with Tiger in his prime. He makes these imaginative shots look easy. He had 119 yards into Firestone #9 and was completely blocked by branches. He carried a lob wedge 120 just past the pin, right through a 3x3' opening in the canopy 60 feet above. He was like "meeh that'll do".
82 PGA Tournament wins, 9 Vardon trophies, 40 wins on the European tour, 15 Majors, 147 consecutive cuts made. G.O.A.T.
John Debest, no doubt. That’s not a resume, that’s a book...that you’d need about six to ten tour players to write in comparison.
What makes him more of a GOAT is when he can have a career break / retirement for 2 or 3 years and still come back just as good.
Wait I thought the 82 was mixed pga and eu lmao
Nicklaus actually has a better "numbers resume" - major wins, top2, top10 finishes, etc. - but I think Woods gets the nod based on the field competition he competed. Nicklaus had 2, 3 maybe 5 guys to contend with each week for legitimate wins. For Woods, that number was at least tripled. The fact Nike equipment lost him a few more trophies isn't done justice either.
Thirteen straight years as number one!!
Who does that!?
Tiger’s slice from the fairway bunker is one of the greatest golf shots we will ever see
That shot out of the sand is the most ridiculously insane shots I've ever seen
Best there is
Best there was
Best there ever will be
"From Calgary, Alberta, Canada, weighing in at 234 pounds, Bret 'Hitman' Hart!"
Best there is today....and the last few decades....yes...
Best there have ever been...
No!
That's still Jack!
Best there ever will be?
Not sure about that...i mean, they said that about Jack....and then Tiger showed up YEARS later!
I'm just happy to see a wining Tiger again!
IMHO....I think Tiger wins his 83rd event BEFORE he wins a Major!
What makes Tiger the best is he gives zero f**ks
ItzAn Opinion you mean his 16th major I'm assuming cause 15 is history bud.
Are you referring to Bret the Hitman Hart because Bret the Hitman Hart said he is the Best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be
I'm so blessed that I got to see all these shots live from the best that will ever do it. There will never be another Tiger. Great video.
Pure joy watching this man create these fantastic pasture pool shots.
Love watching these videos, gives me a good look at how difficult those shots can be. Thanks 🐐🐅
Thoroughly enjoyed the actions performed by the GOAT!
I'm not a man who use to swear words. Rarely do so. But I must say when Tiger made that shot out of the sand I remember I said "Holy sheeeeeeet!!!!!".
Just watching Tiger highlights gives you a confidence before even stepping on the course!
I can make the ball do these things but only when I’m trying to hit it straight💪
Lmfaoooooooo
Tiger never shoots out of bounds.....he just sets up trickshots for himself. Pure joy watching this man create these fantastic pasture pool shots..
Tiger is the greatest golfer in history!
2:14
When I watched that on tv I swore his forearm was broken.
I remember this. When Tiger was on the hunt, there was no one better.
You know you hit a tremendous golf shot if Sir Nick Faldo shows you love
Always amazing to see the crowd of people, basically hunched over the ball, with so much faith in the skills of these professionals.
Dont know why they removed the tournament names but here
1. 2012 Hero World Challenge
2. 2012 AT&T National
3. 2014. Farmers Insurance Open
4. 1999 AT&T National
5. 2009 BMW Championship
6. 2013 Honda Classic
7. 2015 Quicken Loans
8. 2019 WGC Mexico Championship
9. 2010 BMW Championship
10. 2018 Valspar Championship.
11. WGC Dell Technologies Match play Championship
12. 2019 Genesis Open
The class...my God. how can you not appreciate it?
2018 pga championship front nine was the best grinding I have ever seen!
mosho sihole I totally agree. IMHO tiger lost the championship by not making eagle or birdie from 10 feet on Saturday on the 17th hole.
Thank for sharing this with us, the best among the bests.
There are many Goats but only one Tiger
Your soup strainer is the GOAT of moustaches.
there can only b one g.o.a.t
Faldo literally said, “Yes!” on one of Tigers 3 wood shots from behind a bush because he knew he was going to get to see Tiger try something crazy and then Tiger actually pulled it off and stuffed it in there, just awesome
The king of escape. Wow! The majority of players yesterday or tomorrow would\will never try those shots. Crazy!
Best 4 minutes and 24 seconds on RUclips
I love me some tiger.. long live the comeback of the greatest golfer of all time.
The left handed out of the bushes...wow
0:20 if that had been me the gallery on the left would get hurt.
I have every moment of Tigers career. Damn I miss that guy. He just played so well, he would crush his opponents will. Best ever IMO
Visualization and execution was his hallmark of brilliance
The way he got that ball out of the bunker to curve like that and backspin toward the hole is just mind-blowing. Looked impossible.
He was the most creative shot maker in the history of the game.
Their will never be another person like tiger in his prime in the PGA Ever!
0:00 That's a driver, not a fairway wood
its crazy when pros hit it off the deck but pine straw maybe its easier cause you can get under the ball more
Right. Biggest 5 wood I've ever seen
Tiger was a great all round player, but it was his recovery shots that made him a legend.
You mean is haha
Idk I think recovery shots made Phil a legend but tigers iron play is what made him a legend
Tigers known for both phil is known for his wizardry around the greens with his amazing flopadopolas shots.
2:32 This is artist of camera work!
Sir Nick Faldo on Christy O'Conner JR "That famous wrist action of his" 🤣
Thank you PGA, but can you make these an hour long?
The rescue shots in golf are way way better than any other part of the game...all that shot shaping-would be nice getting tracers on those-I am sure its possible to add them
The Tiger is a miracle !!
That bunker shot and the hole in 1 at 16 at the WM event are my favorite Tiger moments
Learned to love getting out of trouble after a bad shot from watching T
The best golfer ever !!!!!!!!! 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸👍
Oh my....Tiger Woods 👏👏👏👏
Proof if ever needed just how much golf is also such a mental game.
Woods is back baby!
Just simply the 🐐
An inspiration 👌
That Magic of Tiger 🐅
🐅🐅🐅🐅
Fascinating
That’s why he’s THA GOAT
I remember watching that bunker shot on TV and just being pure dumbstruck at it. Not only the fact that he got it over the tree, but that he hit the green and it spun 90 degrees right towards the whole. Only player ever that could pull something intentional like that off during a tournament
Great example of making the best out of tough situations
He’s just simply the greatest
Magnificent, get strong again soon Tiger. Even from this you can come back mate, never give up 😎👍
His so good at what he does
“Like that’s?!” Wow!
He’s the best period
🖒
Crazy that in one year I saw tiger, Jordan, Gretzky play.... then saw Brady a few years later... very very very blessed
He didn’t play forever but when he did play, Wow!
3:12 slo-mo was magic
That left handed chip at 3:23 was just sick. That was a crazy good up and down.
The GOAT in their natural habitat
The GOAT
“It’s all in the wrist.” 😁
he is really crazy!!!!
Ok, the one under the bush from his knees. That's freaking insane! Who does that?
I can do that easily
@firemedic75 ..that guy.
firemedic75 tiger does
And with a wall behind him--not much room in which to "swing." Phenomenal.
And it had backspin. Just crazy.
American sports broadcasters every time Tiger got out his car succesfully.
"You gotta be kidding me"
Tiger is the true GOAT of golf!
Undisputed GOAT
The GOAT. Period. Period.
He IS THE artist and engineer. Agree.
GOAT
First clip he said that was a fairway wood. That was a driver folks🥶
Love Tiger!!
And for my next trick...
-Tiger
"There's not much chance this will not get on the green...." gets on the green🤣🤣🤣
Greatest golfer I have ever seen
If he would have made that huge slice bunker shot in Mexico would have been the greatest golf shot of all time. Still one for the ages. What a master
Tiger’s approach is second to none
Stay strong goat👑
