I do want to say, I like these designs but snowflake and safe space should have more curly hair instead of straight so it seems more natural for black people. Straightening natural hair takes awhile and sweat makes it fuzz up, so it doesn't seem convenient for battle.

Thanks a lot. It didn't feel right to me to completely reinvent them. There is still a creative process behind their designs, just because I don't find them appealing doesn't mean they weren't hard work to make.

Marvel would like to know your location. Honestly a lot better compared to the original designs. Snowflake definitely and even B Negative doesn’t look like a train wreck now. He actual seems like the emo kid who just trying out as a hero. I think Safe Space maybe should have gone red but the commando look isn’t a bad color scheme. Trailblazer kind of gives me an X-men vibe which might be her saving grace. Screen Time is last place for me and I think it’s the color scheme that messing with me. I was liking the black with some green here and there and some white on the shoulders and head piece. Was like a secret op hacker that can walk kind of deal. The drone was a nice touch.
thank you very much. I choose green for Safe Space because it is a calming color, it also reminded me of the earth and the force and strength it brings with it. Red was an option I thought about but it has these wild and dangerous associations witch I found unfitting for someone who resembles safety. X-Man Trailblazer was not my intention but now I can't unsee it, I can't stop laughing, how did I miss that. Screentime was a tricky one for colores purple was my choice giving the mystery of the internet. At first, I didn't want to go with green as the second color since it seemed just like an obvious choice but I had to settle with it since there weren't enough color contrasts. Maybe you're right and I should have stayed with his color scheme. Thank you for your feedback I really love to hear some different opinions!

I really appreciate the attention to the different body type and poses that show their personalities. Reading your description was a blast as I got a glimpse into your mindset on how you decided to make the new and refreshing while maintaining the similar confines of the original concept art. The redesign videos are the best thing to come from this controversy although honestly, most of them play on the theme of polishing a turd. This video though isn't polishing anything, it's a creative remix and shows what thoughtfulness from a strong creative team can do.

Ok I would be more inclined to read this due to the better designs and less atrocious colors despite the overly wokeness and not well thought out back stories. The colors are what ticked me off the moast, they were too bright.

This is one of my favourite redesigns now. You obviously put a lot of thought into fleshing them out and making their designs aesthetically pleasing while also making them more practical. I especially like the change from pink to green and I agree B-Negative wasn't bad to begin with, but the small changes you made improved on him even more. Now they actually look a functioning superhero team, not a rejected roller derby group. You really clowned on Marvel with this, I love it.
B-Negative is a whole ass mood... he looks like the only kid putting effort into a class project and I'm here for it. Screentime is 100% twitch streaming the fight via drone and getting kidnapped because he's too preoccupied with answering questions in the chat. Trailblazer is the mom-friend.
Seriously tho I'd kill to have those rendering skills! It's soo satisfying watching you sketch and erase and draw over with smooth, cleaner, crisp lines.. Awesome job.
I really like that you made the character snowflake more androgynous bc when I see redesigns of snowflake the artists usually exaggerate snowflake's feminine qualities and it always annoys me bc snowflake is meant to be nonbinary and I think nonbinary people do get disforyia so I feel that drawing snowflake more feminine would take away from the fact that their meant to be nonbinary. (Sorry if this offends anyone, I don't know too much about how the majority of nonbinary people feel about their bodies so please dont hate just try to educate me)
They[re color schemes are SO MUCH better now. I don't have to put on shades to look at yours designs. And the yellow & blue just suits Trailblazer really well. If she gets a new costume in the comics, I wouldn't be surprised if it took cues from yours.

the poses are just like: trailblazer just looks determined to do stuff, screentime looks like he is the hyper one, snowflake looks like they are the chill and free one, safespace looks like he's the tough serious one, and b negative looks like the grumpy dark one
Now they actually look like SUPERHEROES. Aside from the terrible concepts marvel gave these poor kids, they also forgot to make them look interesting. But you absolutely nailed it on that part!

I really like what you did for B-Negative, he was (in my opinion) the best out of all of them. In fact, I even came up with a better story for him than _Marvel_ Why, instead of him having a blood transfusion from a well-known vampire, be a mystery instead? It could flesh him out more as a character, and he could try and find this mysterious vampire character, instead of us already knowing who it is. Idk, I just thought it could be better- (the story, I mean-)

This is superb! And it's LEFTIST! This is the Left-Wing I remember from the 90s- challenging, exciting, and very entertaining. A nice little Christian Conservative like me would not read this comic, but a side of them would want to! The original... I might read (or hear someone else's review) only to laugh at- as something even less sophisticated then I am! I miss this Left!
I especially love the redesign for B-Negative. Now he actually looks like a tongue and cheek edgelord and not some fuck boy from the 80’s who thinks he’s way cooler than he actually is.
I'm really digging the first and last ones Screentime is pretty good too I just feel like to fix SF and SS you'd have to throw the whole characters away lol You did the best you could with that shit-tier character design that someone was PAID to come up with God, you could ask just about anyone to make a jock force field guy and a NB/androgynous person w/ ice powers and they'd make it better than the uninspired palette swaps that were the initial designs Subbed
Ah yes, I can actually look at them without sunglasses to tone down the neon. I quite like these designs! I really love Trailblazer's blue and yellow colour pallet. Probably my favourite part! Also love the nee bag because the old one made no sense. Snowflake and Safespace aren't identical anymore! Yay! I like the drone and visor idea for Screentime. B Negative was okay already but I prefer the slightly toned down pink. Overall, I like how they're all different colour instead of three of them being NEON pink. The neon looked too bright and kinda tacky to me. There was just way too much of it. Great designs!

The only thing that I can think of that I liked about this whole thing was B-negatives name. It is surprisingly creative for todays marvel.

This is superb! And it's LEFTIST! This is the Left-Wing I remember from the 90s- challenging, exciting, and very entertaining. A nice little Christian Conservative like me would not read this comic, but a side of them would want to! The original... I might read (or hear someone else's review) only to laugh at- as something even less sophisticated then I am! I miss this Left!
I especially love the redesign for B-Negative. Now he actually looks like a tongue and cheek edgelord and not some fuck boy from the 80’s who thinks he’s way cooler than he actually is.

You did the best you could with that shit-tier character design that someone was PAID to come up with
God, you could ask just about anyone to make a jock force field guy and a NB/androgynous person w/ ice powers and they'd make it better than the uninspired palette swaps that were the initial designs

Ah yes, I can actually look at them without sunglasses to tone down the neon. I quite like these designs! I really love Trailblazer's blue and yellow colour pallet. Probably my favourite part! Also love the nee bag because the old one made no sense. Snowflake and Safespace aren't identical anymore! Yay! I like the drone and visor idea for Screentime. B Negative was okay already but I prefer the slightly toned down pink. Overall, I like how they're all different colour instead of three of them being NEON pink. The neon looked too bright and kinda tacky to me. There was just way too much of it. Great designs!
