All the vaillant combination boilers the return pipe is the right hand pipe. For any boiler the easiest way to tell which is the return pipe, just run your central heating see which pipe gets hot first and then which pipe starts getting hot. that would be the return pipe. As the hot water returns from the heating to the boiler. hope that helps everyone
My boiler is less than the size of the magna clean from the roof and in the airing cupboard the pump is 6 inches off the floor before going left into the cylinder and right into the heating. The heating only pipe may be long enough is that a problem?
can you help i have heating system that has solid fuel fire and a gas boiler to run it i am looking to fit a magnaclean professional 2 to my system but not sure where to fit it as the pipes for the heating go throw a dunsly tank to heat the water for the heating can i still put it near the gas boiler or should it go near the feed pipes at the dunsly tank .or the pipes near the solid fuel fire ?
Im not a plumber but also think whenever l do DIY plumbing lve never used plumbers mate or ptfe tape on a new fitting. Surely the olive should do the job as that is what its designed for? Perhaps if you have a leak from an old rad where the fitting has been strained after draining you may use it?

I have a boiler with 15mm system, is it OK to fit this with reducers?
