Do you have to payback the 35k or will it be a second Mortagage or does it get put on the end of your Mortagage
Your video was very informative, what platform are you using for your video creation. I want to start creating content and yours was very well done! Hopefully the occupation piece is changing.
The occupation piece is going away on June 1st 2023. I use basic software: imovie for some, Adobe Rush for others.
I looked at the website. Where does it say they are getting rid of the occupation requirements?
The new requirements will not come out until July. They stated the changes in Tallahassee during the Great American Realtor Days when Senate Bill 102 passed. The changes and the additional funds were approved in the bill.
I'm interested in purchasing a tiny home through a builder in Melbourne, Florida. Would this apply?
Can you combine both programs only for 1st time homebuyers or you can use on 2nd home ?
Only for your first home. Not investment homes
I've been on the hometown heroes website trying to find an approved lender list but it is unavailable. Lenders I've spoken to arent aware of the program.

I just found out that you only work the Jacksonville area. Is this true? I no longer reside in Jax but Volusia now.
We have two main offices in Jacksonville and Pensacola and work the surrounding areas...but there are NUMEROUS agents that can help with this program.
How does the program help lower VA interest rates?
Interest rates vary from lender to lender...but if you need closing cost assistance this program might be helpful. You can also go to www.904Heroes.com and sign up to use a realtor who will also give you about 25% of their commission when you buy or sell a home. That can be additional savings!
if i am disabled with income on ssi can i still apply

Will it be hard to refinance?
Not any more difficult than refinancing with a second mortgage on the home. The numbers just have to work, depending on what type of refinance you are doing.
Do you need a full time to qualify?
It employment/income qualifications depend on the lender you use.
