I was so glad to see your lesson pop up. I was getting concerned that you might find that Unshaken was putting you into overload. I am grateful you and your family are all ok, but I was really missing your latest lesson. I’m 71, live alone, and yearn for good spiritual conversations that can inspire and motivate and feed my soul. Your weekly lessons are just the ticket, and believe me when I say that I listen to them several times each week. Thank you for all you do to make this podcast possible. 💝

Dear, dear brother H, I’m so glad to hear you’re ok! I was just praying for you tonight hoping you were alright and thought I’d check my phone before going to sleep and there was your new post! I am so grateful for all you sacrifice to produce these lessons for us! This series has been the best I’ve ever studied in the D&C and I have been richly blessed because of you and your efforts. I know you will be eternally blessed for what you are doing to help the Saints. I will continue to pray for you and your family, especially your daughter and for her continuing return to health. God bless you and your family and congratulations to your son for his call. Hurrah for Israel! Much love, Sister Robinson

1:12 to 1:25 "What is property unto me?" What a powerful response to the materialism that consumes the attention of our culture today! Thank you for spending so much time on this. I spent 30 years of my public practice of law, in part, helping people through divorce. It always amazed me when some people put their fight about "stuff" (yes, I used that technical legal term with my clients") above their concern for making sure that their children weren't harmed by their fighting. And I was also amazed when some very wise people gave up "stuff" quite willingly to keep the peace and preserve whatever relationship might exist between parents, so that the fight didn't escalate. And this is but one example of how the Babylon culture we live in can turn truth and priorities on their heads and get things so terribly wrong. Thank you again. This is a message we all need a constant reminder about. Yes, we need to be responsible. But if it really all belongs to the Lord, shouldn't we be more like prudent stewards than proud, covetous owners of a "drop in the bucket" of what the Lord can provide, if we serve Him well?

Dearest Brother Halverson, there are no words to convey to you how deeply spiritually your lessons are touching my soul and how very, very blessed I feel by your sacrifice in time, in giving of your knowledge and insights, by your willingness to suffer lack of sleep and probably family life to bless ignorant saints - as I am trying to be a real saint. You are truly an unspeakable blessing, and you are truly sanctified by your unimaginable sacrifices and giving to the hungry in spirit. Beside all that, you are such a very, very gifted teacher with your talent to bring what you say and teach alive. May the Lord always bless you and keep you and your loved ones healthy and well!

Dearest brother Jared: Thank you for coming to earth & for your great works in the name of Christ. Thank you for your humility & your willingness to add us to your load when your snorkel is nearly drowning you! I pray for you & your family members. You've impacted so many of mine but especially me.
I'm curious...I couldn't help but hear a hidden sadness in the Prophet's voice as he bid us farewell, "Until we meet again."
    Did anyone feel thwart?
I know great trials are before us & I believe he knows even as Nephi & Mormon knew.
And although we will all have real reasons to feel terror, confusion & rage, all will be well if we sue for peace & forgive. (Though there are always times where the pistol helps the meek avoid harm & even pause a "mobber" from doing great evil while caught up in a temporary mob mentality).
The times ahead are meant to fully change us into a Zion people. I KNOW that we will see the God of the impossible!
After all, what has our version of reality ever done to inhibit Him revealing His Majesty & Might? He LOVES blowing our reality out of the water If we will but believe in Him & step out in faith.
And that is what you've done all your life. So I know that God the Father is preparing you to fully realize the spiritual gills you've been breathing with all along. (So much for the snorkel! Lol.)
I sincerely love & thank you. And please, thank your family for their sacrifice. Someday I hope to meet & thank you all in person. On this or the other side of the veil. 🙏💟😇
    💗 Amy

I have felt incredible happiness when I finally saw this week’s video posted. I was worried about you and had thought something must’ve happened within your family. Guess I wasn’t far off the mark. You are such an incredible gospel doctrine teacher and do so appreciate your faith, knowledge, and dedication to sharing your talents with the other Saints. It is my prayer that these lessons will continue throughout the Old and New Testament as well as any you may have missed from the Book of Mormon. May the Lord bless you and keep your family safe. And may He bless you with enough strength to keep you from drowning.

We see it and appreciate it more than you know. You are helping me learn how to approach the scriptures. I am thankful for your depth of understanding, which I know also came at a cost. Your example inspires me to seek to sacrifice more myself in the hopes of helping others. Our prayers are with you and your family!

I have been in so many hospitals and I know how uncomfortable these chairs are and how all over uncomfortable it is to sit beside a person that is in pain and not being able to take on a part of the pain. What a sweet story of your son and his mission call and service! ER on top of it! Such fatigue and worry!
I totally understand your tired eyes and snorkel being drowned. I supported my husband doing a 11 year Odessy getting his PhD while working full time, accepting a call to be bishop to a very needy ward in the true mission field haha, and adopting a troubled behavioral challenged son. He literally worked right up to the very ultimate hour and minute to finish it! I broke my hip two months after he finished it at my new adopted son’s Intermission of His Shakespeare play. My husband then was asked to go to Wales to defend his dissertation just six weeks after my hip surgery. We had planned to go for all the years of his online PhD work. I remember waking up and thinking he would go alone. but

I was almost raised up from the death by the priesthood. Anyway I know the Lord loves us. Thanks so much for your happy hands which teach me, your diligence in creating this beautiful work for so many of us who need it. It’s helped me through on some very lonely nights full of pain. May God continue to prevail in your life.

I have never been to Adam Ondi Amon before, but I have always wanted to go there and even serve a mission there some day.

Brother Halverson, my research on Olaha Shinehah: The word “Shinehah” appears in Abraham 3:13 as a word for the sun and “Olea” as a word for the moon. Janne M. Sjodahl and Hyrum M. Smith have speculated that “Olaha” might be a variant of “Olea.” If so, the plains of “Olaha Shinehah” would be the Plains of the Moon and the Sun.
I too am grateful for your sacrifice in helping us grow closer to God. In challenging us to be better and live the Gospel to its fullest. Thank you again.

24:00 We are not meant to bear the name of Mormon, we were meant to bear the name of Christ.
I am grateful that this has been emphasized so much in the latter days. It's too bad it took so long to get there but better late than never.
