I got stuck at the point of not knowing what I needed for the clutch line in a external conversion for my xj. With a new motor in it I wanted to do a full overhaul. Summit racing customer service not only was able to get me the parts I needed but also gave me the part numbers and info on the parts I needed. I got the advance adapter parts for less through summit then advance adaptor would sell directly. They will always be a first call for my projects from now on
Oh man oh man! Bringing me back to a handful of years ago when a 6.0 Ford gave us the same kinda feels… turned out, same situation where the machinist dropped the crank onto the table during the assy process bending 2 of the tone wheel teeth. Bout drive us to drinkin! Glad you figured it out!

We just ran into a similar situation. Reluctor wheel is bent AND off a tooth. Spent days working on it before we figured it out

Just curious as to why you mounted the air filter where you did? Seems it would pick up a lot of dirt!
We needed to try to keep Intake Air Temps down so we put those where it would get the freshest air possible!
