Hi Ainsley, thanks for your videos I started watching them last year before I decided to move to Canada and they're so helpful. I'm currently weighing up my options of moving to Vancouver or Victoria. I'm looking to find a job in the environmental NGO/social policy research sector and whilst my first thought is Vancouver I can't get over the prices and have seen some vacancies in Victoria I'm more keen on... I was wondering if you know how much it roughly costs right now to rent a 1 bed fully furnished place, in a central or desired location (like James Bay), with all utilities included? Thank you :)
Hi Holly, thanks so much for your message, I'm glad you have found my videos helpful! Here is a link to a company that has fully furnished rentals here in Victoria premieresuites.com/find-your-match/?British_Columbia_Search&British_Columbia_Rentals&gclid=CjwKCAjwm4ukBhAuEiwA0zQxk1CgaaC5-QexsP5pdGfnhMatKjGvWPBO3EwFSVhD_MXCImCWaSywehoCkkcQAvD_BwE
Hi Ainsley. The Vancouver vs Victoria idea is a great one. Also, I am from Vancouver and now moving to the Island just north of Victoria. I can give you a lot of info on Vancouver vs Victoria right now but give us another 6 months and I will have a good deal more of the island on mind. Cheers
I'm coming to Victoria on Thrursday. I am looking forward to it. The one highlite besides going fishing on a boat, is to rent a scooter from CycleBC and drive along the water front through the Uplands to Cadboro bay.
@@ainsleygowervictoriarealestate No problem. I had an idea for a video for you. Finding your way around Victoria vs sightseeing. I think there is a bus that goes around Victoria and Oak Bay. Thanks!
visiting victoria august 1st and leaving 2nd morning with my family. Want to hike at Mount Douglas and do your waterfront drive. Visiting Breakwater and via James Bay back to courtney street. Do you have more suggestions? Thanks for your video
I think it’s the best small city in the world: fentanyl prices are some of the lowest on the world . On the down side people step very elitist and clique oriented. Rents are 1900- 3000 for one bedroom in town . Food prices are astronomical but you can camp in any Parks for free and homeless people for most part are friendly.

Thanks for another great video, I have to visit Victoria one day, it looks amazing!
thank you
I am planing a day trip from Vancouver to Victoria this Aug by car on ferry.
Then Buchart Garden and all interested attrraction as per your recommended. My question is how we can find the right Spot to park the car for Walking tour. Also how the parking system works? This is my first time decide to drive in oversea.
There is a large parking lot at butchart gardens that you can park in!
Beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
