Just want to let you know I’ve been on a Vo-Gus binge now for almost a week. I’m blasting thru lots of your videos all the while “liking” and commenting on all of them! Just doing my part to support the channel bc it’s such epic content. Between you and Pioneer Paulie I get my daily gold fix!
I totally agree with you. The skin should be after the mini riffles. Natural progression. If you wanna go from big riff direct to smooth, you still can
I don't have snake skin, so I'll just get some very course wet and dry or emery paper and drag it across the smooth plastic from side to side for a micro filter, or do circles, whatever suits you. Great idea, thanks.
CHRIS, gave my 2 little dogs that scratch behind their ears for ya now i have to give them each a milk bone "cookie"! that was some GIANT HUGE GOLD!! i`ll be ordering one of those XP PAN KITs! great video..... I would never have added that endding to a video as my friends an family would have had me locked up in the "LOONEY" bin for sure..!
A long time ago a big glacier came through the Midwest of United States and picked up a bunch of big heavy gold up north and on the way down went crunch crunch crunch and dropped it in Iowa all we have is flour gold so I would love to see that snake skin here and on everything just as you said.
Hey There!! That new XP Metal Detector you were using was awesome! Especially with the snake skin pattern on the inside! I have never prospected for gold before. After seeing your video and some others, makes me want to order an XP Metals Detector!! I love it outside/streams, etc. Getr Done!! God bless you, and be safe!!😀
Great idea but if you use a semi rough sand paper on the smoother side of a pan you get really close to the same effect. I do it to almost all of my gold pans!!
Sunday bloody Sunday, cant wait till that freedom............ probs up to Ballarat to visit Daughter tho...... Hmm.... any good creeks around there.........
Gotta say that "Snake Skin" looks like it works very well. Old Timers used the rusty metal pans for the exact same purpose. Makes good sense. Might have to add one of those to my ever growing arsenal of pans and products. Great video as always, Chris.....!!!!
So I bought the garret pan and it came with the shuffle bottle, and as you said it is not that good for flower gold. I live in Conneticut where you glacial till gold, probably the smallest gold you can get. I probably had gold in my pan but just washed away.
Great video Chris. Love the intermittent nature shots. The super sluice is easy to modify. Thermo plastics are easy to alter with a torch or heat gun: just need something with a texture you wanna stamp into your pan.
That is totally awesome, chris. I looked these up on the website a few days ago and couldn't actually see the prices of the metal detector Xp line for gold panning kits or them being sold separately..
hey i like that pan, im thinkn why not lightly score the pan in a section with a sharp knife ?? using a ruler and moving it about 20 thou each score. gonna give it a shot. i believe it would be the same effect you have.
My only complaint is that the classifiers don't fit into a 5 gallon bucket. They sit on top because the bottom is the same diameter as the bucket rim. My plan was to classify and fill a 5 gallon bucket, then run that through a sluice, then pan. I might have to find a different size bucket, but it would be nice if it had a good fit with any bucket.
Chris right below my house in Alberta Canada, there is a river that has gold. It is muddy in some places but just for fun I am going to go down and try to pan some. If I could find a few specs I would be happy. I have a little micro vial I want to put them in for my wife. Paulie actually pans in the area I grew up in the Sot! 😂 Hey man I think of you a Grizz often and I think that while you were lucky to have had him, he was lucky to have had you. You are a good Human Being Chris, I hope if you ever come back to see Paulie I can .and the twelve hour drive to shake your hand. My days are made brighter by those who take the time to share their lives on RUclips. You make me smile often. If you ever decide to love another dog in the future, I am here to help. I promise you that. Love to you from 🇨🇦🇨🇦 always welcome on my water.
Thank you Chris for another fantastic informative entertaining and visually pleasing video. All the "arty" shot's you add into your editing make's your video's stand out from the crowd. Love your work. Oh and the little bit at the very end was funny because it's true! Haha ha ha!
I've got a suggestion. Do a side by side test in a container with a predetermined known amount of flower gold to show your followers what pan works best
So I priced out your haul on half a gram at todays gold price. Roughly 31 dollars. I think that's pretty good actually. A fun hobby that could pay me 31 dollars and possibly a great deal more - sounds great.
Ahoj Chris, cleaning to pure gold into the river??? WOW...That is the high level panning I want to achieve... I did buy material for cleanup sluice, but as I learned to use XP pans, I didn't build the cleanup sluice yet... No need... So, your statement, that XP pans are as good as cleanup sluice is true. At least for small amounts of gold.
U inspired me to go looking for valubels and random objects i brough my first detector and it is great. Well i was hintimg i foung buried in the groung a toy model of a 90s tyle blue car and i was sò happy to find it just goes to show how intresting to use a mettle detector
Definitely looking into getting an xp kit. Never have I ever heard of a snake skin and how good it is at catching even the finest. To top it off how quick you separated the black and blonde sands and left 98 percent just gold! This is why I love you and your vids. Thanks to another video I have been watching hint starts with #pioneer haha, definitely going to be watching you above most! Keep up the amazing work. P.S I love how you respond to the viewers comments! Most people don't! If you want to come to America some day I will take you to some claims here in Idaho!!
You should work with a company to design your own pan with these great ideas!! Do it! I'm sure you could find someone to 3d model and print a prototype for you. Love the videos. Want to see you get large nuggets.
Very cool 😎 that seems like the perfect pan for here in the Midwest can’t wait to brag about this one when l am out with joe next time aka beefy prepper that’s Chris very informative and you are the man on testing thanks for your dedication to the spreading of gold fever peace out brother and like I always say out for now later Jeff😁😁😁👍⛏⛏⛏⛏⛏⛏⛏⛏⛏⛏😬
Once again another great vid. I have this kit on backorder 😥 2 week to wait. I brought it because the classifiers looked great and I commented on a previous vid of yours now the snake skin blows my mind. Could start a flour mill down here in Tassie with that 🤣
300 grit sandpaper gets you the same results, use the sandpaper to rough up your pan edge. We've been doing that for years. 👍
That "choose your character" at true end is pure gold and quite the nugget of entertainment 😎
@Kareem Jamir and you can buy safemoon 😎👍
I wonder how that surface would work on a Miller table.
I had a regular Garrett pan before, but since going to the super sluice I improved my take of flour gold.
I would have to agree,I catch alot of flower gold in that Garrett super sluice pan,its definitely one great pan.

Love the ending Chris thanks for the chuckles.
Yep bought one of these kits the other day yet to use it but looks good
Hopefully the company will take your advice and place the snakeskin next to the mini ripple and make the holes slightly bigger for the clip
That snakeskin one looks like a really effective gold pan. Great to see you using different tools such as this and the Batea Pan!
Got to like that recovery I’d like to try that pan
Blue bowl with snakeskin bottom--Wow! I bet that would be SUPER!
Now they just need to make a cleanup pan with only the snake skin and I'd be buying one right now! Thanks for sharing, Chris ⛏
half snake, half smooth I'd pre-order
Cool pan chris thanks

Great tip! I’ll try it! 🙂👍🏻
Just ordered a xp panning kit I will see how it works up here in Nova Scotia clays.
One more thing. Thanks for the video 🙂
Stay safe, healthy and happy.
Great video, Chris. Good on you for always being prepared to try out new gear and new methods. Thank you for sharing.
That's a good texture. Maybe that fake vinyl shoe material, in a snakeskin pattern would line a bateau nicely.
Sunday bloody Sunday, cant wait till that freedom............ probs up to Ballarat to visit Daughter tho...... Hmm.... any good creeks around there.........

Thank you.
Andy
That is a brilliant idea they have come up with Chris
That snake skin pan is probably the first invention I've seen since I started 6-7 years ago that actually seems worth it.
Wow! Of course it is in the hands of an expert!
Great video on the Snake pan...
i like the idea of snake scales design!
So I bought the garret pan and it came with the shuffle bottle, and as you said it is not that good for flower gold. I live in Conneticut where you glacial till gold, probably the smallest gold you can get. I probably had gold in my pan but just washed away.

The super sluice is easy to modify. Thermo plastics are easy to alter with a torch or heat gun: just need something with a texture you wanna stamp into your pan.
Pan looks good. Will be entering that comp for sure.
Great clip and gold too
I haven't seen the XP or really any Minelabs pans available around here (Lower Mainland BC). I'm gonna have to look further...
www.metaldetector.com/xp-gold-pan-premium-kit
Like the look of that pan and love the look of that gold. Great work.
use coarse sandpaper when seasoning a pan , similar result to that snake skin .
Thanks mate, I'm a total newbie, just ordered a set! Planning my retirement ha! 😆😆😆
Nice to see you again, Chris!
That fine gold is like flour. Amazing you can keep it all. 👀😲🤠🌵
You got that right! thats why its called flour gold
That is totally awesome, chris. I looked these up on the website a few days ago and couldn't actually see the prices of the metal detector Xp line for gold panning kits or them being sold separately..
I like the pan...wish I had one!
That snake skin is interesting looking stuff. Thanks for sharing Chris.
Now that's annoying...i might have gone for that set instead of the xp batea... cool running, thanks for the review
That snake skin is awesome love the motion tracking too
Awesome video👍 you makes some of the best content for anyone into prospecting for gold makes me want to go out every time. keep up the great work
Thanks for keeping it real Chris and Zoe Love Yah Heaps
Great video. Was planning to get a super sluice but might have to get this XP
Cool pan! Think I’m gonna get one of those.
Thank you for sharing the info on the pan. You did pretty good in this video...............huck
hey i like that pan, im thinkn why not lightly score the pan in a section with a sharp knife ?? using a ruler and moving it about 20 thou each score. gonna give it a shot. i believe it would be the same effect you have.
Nice review Chris! Will be getting this kit!
Interesting Chris, quite good things to think about.
Nice bit of kit mate.👍👍
Thank you very much for that demonstration
looks like a great spot, hope you get the highbanker going there
Hello vo-guss, I got a set few months ago I really like it..😊
My only complaint is that the classifiers don't fit into a 5 gallon bucket. They sit on top because the bottom is the same diameter as the bucket rim.
My plan was to classify and fill a 5 gallon bucket, then run that through a sluice, then pan.
I might have to find a different size bucket, but it would be nice if it had a good fit with any bucket.
I got the mine lab half inch octagonal hole classifier.
It fits a bucket and acts as a funnel for my xp classifiers.
Nice pan. Snake skin huh....who'd a thunk it! Nice looking gold Chris. Thanks for sharing.
Maybe a heated screen pressed against pan might be a diy solution.
Yeah was thinking the same
That's a great idea. I was wondering if it might work to scratch it with some 40 grit sand paper and put in some micro grooves.
Love the end 🤣🤣🤣 Have to work on getting one of those pans 👍🇦🇺
Just bought this kit as my first pan. Your fault :-) Great channel and inspiration. Cheers mate!
Chris right below my house in Alberta Canada, there is a river that has gold. It is muddy in some places but just for fun I am going to go down and try to pan some. If I could find a few specs I would be happy. I have a little micro vial I want to put them in for my wife.

If you ever decide to love another dog in the future, I am here to help. I promise you that.
Love to you from 🇨🇦🇨🇦 always welcome on my water.
He gets very bitchy if you suggest another dog, so be careful. He bit my head off instead of being a man and seeing I was just another dog lover.
Cool feature. The snakeskin pattern acts like the a smooth conditioned side of a traditional plastic pan.
Thank you Chris for another fantastic informative entertaining and visually pleasing video. All the "arty" shot's you add into your editing make's your video's stand out from the crowd. Love your work.
Oh and the little bit at the very end was funny because it's true! Haha ha ha!

Not a bad idea
Great idea!
And more video content .. .. perfect.!
I really like that pan!
Great videos love them Hi from Ipswich England keep up the Awesome prospecting
Love the look of that snakeskin, and it's probably cheaper that he miller table I have been thinking of building. 👍👍

Your a legend Chris. Great vid on the pan and I’m with you on the snake skin being next in line. Thanks for the great content buddy.
Really nice pan.
I like the snake skin, but I really like my old metal cleanup pan.
Hahaha love the cosplay Chris session at the end!.. Great vid! Very informative.
Great review Chris.
OMG Just watched the VERY LAST of your video .LOL
The paint brush sweeping the gold around was sexy 😎
I’m with Matt on the snake skin!!!! Excellent idea, and thank you for sharing!
U inspired me to go looking for valubels and random objects i brough my first detector and it is great. Well i was hintimg i foung buried in the groung a toy model of a 90s tyle blue car and i was sò happy to find it just goes to show how intresting to use a mettle detector
Really enjoying your RUclips channel Chris. Keep up the awesome creations!
Holy crap, that is amazing! Thanks for sharing that pan with us. Going on my Xmas list right now! Cheers 👍👍👌💪
Ahhh Victoria, where the men are men and the sheep are nervous ;)
Chris, thoughts on the Blue Bowl for clean-up of small flour gold fines ??
Such a educational video! Thanks
Damn I wish I'd seen this before buying the garret pan kit.
Chris if you had to choose.........the Gold Claw or the XP with snakeskin for working black sands ???
Xp
Very interesting. Thank you.

I try to reply to as many as I can. Hard to keep up. Those pans are worth it.
@@VoGusProspectingHi, would appreciate a response to my question regarding what diameter is your pump. Many thanks.

Din't think I'd be buying yet another pan, but the snakeskin is truly intriguing!👍
Entertaining and educational! Lol...good on ya mate!
He’s great at both. Him and Dan both!
That was an awesome pan Chris
Laughed me butt off at the closing of the vid
Wicked mate Cheers
I got my entries in.
Good luck mate.
