It's entertainment, SO what's so wrong if the acting was not too real... being beautiful having personal charms etc, that's more important factor. It was such fun for me to watch her.

Blake is such a hypocrite. Amanda sleeps with her MOTHER’S husband, and gets the soft loving tone. Meanwhile he screams at Alexis like she pissed on his rug for the slightest thing.
I wish they hadn’t had Alexis deliberately cause Krystle’s miscarriage early in the series. It made it difficult to sympathize with Alexis because she was the type of person who would do that. If they hadn’t done that, I would be on Alexis’ side a lot of the time because I thought Blake was so cold and nasty towards her. He was a shitty husband to her and never really owned up to that. He also denied his children their mother by sending her away when they were little, and I thought that was also awful.
Yes, but she’s like Meryl Streep compared to the woman who replaced her. The replacement was always smiling as she delivered her lines, and came off like an idiot.
Just how many white fur jackets with big shoulders does Alexis own??? She's wearing a completely different one when she runs into Blake than she was wearing at La Mirage.
Dex and Amanda should have been a legit couple instead of the writers teasing the relationship randomly over 2 seasons before Catherine Oxenberg left the series. I liked their chemistry.
What's so sad is that Michael Nader and Catherine Oxenberg's Private Life was so hard and difficult. Catherine's Daughter was part of a Cult that was passed off as a motivational Boot Camp. Michael Nader became heavily addicted to Cocaine who in the early years of his career worked with Brenda Dickson (Ex Jill Foster Abbott #1) on The Young & The Restless) in her pre soap days and The Actor who played Mark tanked as Billy Lewis #2 on Guiding Light whose character went to Prison for Five Years for an attempted shooting on Roger Thorpe.
I watched this as a kid.i found amanda annoying and thought her character coming on sounded too fake,all these long lost kids,aleast Adam brought more punch too thr show.i really thought amanda coming on there sounded fake .

Catherine Oxenberg wasn't much of an actress but you could believe her as Blake and Alexis' daughter.
She was the worst actress for sure but much of the acting on Dynasty was terrible.
