It doesn’t make sense to begin with because if something happens differently due to time travel, it would create a new timeline, *REGARDLESS* of any destruction that happens next, because that didn’t happen before. The new timeline would just be the same as the old one *after* the destruction, but would still exist nonetheless. Otherwise, *NO* timeline is *EVER* created when time traveling. And *with* this theory, it makes even *less* sense because Kang writing what will happen doesn’t determine whether a new timeline is created, it just determines if the timeline follows what he wrote.
