Ah bliss. A James custom build on a Friday afternoon. Can watch this and then have a cuppa tea and then a nice nap watching the world slowly flood outside.
Wish they worked out a way to do away with wires completely and have magnetic connectors built into key places which also transport signals. Like those ARGB rans that connect together magnetically.
Good to see a full build for one of these. Its a really cool design beats the standard goldfish bowl cases which look fine but they are just so run of the mill now.
I know thermaltake get a lot of negativity at times, but they are the pioneers of color and this was such a good idea, really showed the hardware off well
You're such a pro James! Cable tidying on the reverse of a Project Zero build, where no bugger is ever going to see your work. Was good to see you having a little struggle to get the reservoir in, which shows that you're still human and have not been assimilated by your Borg-esque build 😂😂
That's what always put me off doing my own cooling loop. Think AIO is probably safest although you could probably air cool the Zen 5 or new Luna Lakes.
Awesome work James - love your builds, been finding them through your channel lately, might be an idea to make categories for them as they are hard to find TBH
That is beautiful. Never thought of green coolant. That case is very nice but I am surprised they sent the boring black version with all those funky colours they have.
Spectacular ! Are those fans loud? havent. been able to find many reviews on them and no one talks about the new levels, they are expensive, just wanted to check with you if possible
I like. I'd like a British Racing Green or darker SKU; I think it would go well with the Acid Green loop. How dismantleable is the case? I can see myself getting one and having it powder coated that green. Pity it doesn't take M-ATX; Thermaltake Half-Bake is back? I hope not; and this is just a glitch!
It will take a standard m-ATX board just not a PZ or BTF back connect one. The case disassembled very easily and you could drill out rivets if you want to go all the way.
Hi James, very nice build. I want to ask if the GPU suffers from higher temps due to the straight up positioning? That's the only concern i have. Thanks.
I dont see any reason why the vertical orientation should have any effect on the GPU thermals. I did some quick 3DMark testing and GPU temperature seems normal.
I love green, we dont see enough green systems but dont thermaltake make this case in two versions of green? what are they doing giving you the black one !!!!
That TT watercooling kit looks good - how does it compare with aquatuning James? I would have used to say EKWB. but no one cares about them anymore, sad ending for them
James builds are really lovely. I was going to buy one of these cases after computex and Leo’s coverage. But would love to see the colours in the flesh before picking one. I idea why they went the black one. Boring tbh.
THis is a good looking case, I would have prefered to see the green version the black one is quite boring especally as they fgocus so much on the colors in their videos
It was not easy to find but I recently discovered that some vapor chamber cooled GPUs are not designed to operate with the IO facing the ceiling and it will increase the temps by a fair amount. Have you noticed any high temps. I am interested in this case but I am running a Sapphire 7900 XTX Pulse with a DeepCool ASSASSIN IV WH Premium CPU Air Cooler so orienting the GPU to face outward is not an option.
one of the cases that thermaltake built with AIO in mind and ppl building with damn custom loops thw moment im trying to check whats going on with airflows on different flow setups.... :(
I love that case, pretty sad they just sent a black one, instead of the racing green colour, would have made more sense considering the ACID. green liquid you used. black is meh now
I know they "say" it's good for an open loop... but not really. I like the case personally, more than my Lian Li Evo XL. I might switch to it on my next build evamp. But I'd just go with an AIO. I've done my last open loop I think.
Not my cup of tea. I dunno about the airflow of the case since the design is odd and the fact that it has many fans but the gpu is mounted in a narrower space and isn't watercooled makes me wonder if this case is any good.
The airflow is pretty good, I was surprised how well the CPU and GPU thermals performed when running 3DMARK Speedway and Cinebench R23 stress tests simultaneously. It's definitely not everyone's cup of tea though. 😊
Sorry for the spam, please report any you see - it's an ongoing issue with RUclips! While you're here, let us know what you think of James' latest build...
RUclips doesn't seem to want to recognize it as an issue. It's a feature now.
The reverse blade fan option is such a cool feature
Love that Timelapse from 4:45 so relaxing watching someone else work really hard in a short amount of time.
Love that round CPU block design. Looks like a sports watch.
A james build on a friday as the weekend is about to hit? awesome, time for a cuppa
Ah bliss. A James custom build on a Friday afternoon. Can watch this and then have a cuppa tea and then a nice nap watching the world slowly flood outside.
That case is massive. The 300 makes more sense to me !
Hard loop baby ! I want to build my first one end of this year, excited and nervous about it in equal measure !
You can do it!
Neat tip with the bends, seeing how he used the edge of the desk 👍
It’s a good thing to learn. Just take your time and it’s not too bad.
Project zero biuilds just look so CLEAN.
Wish they worked out a way to do away with wires completely and have magnetic connectors built into key places which also transport signals. Like those ARGB rans that connect together magnetically.
It does, suits this case well.
Good to see a full build for one of these. Its a really cool design beats the standard goldfish bowl cases which look fine but they are just so run of the mill now.
Awesome build watched the Timelapse a few times.
Thanks, I'm glad you like it.
After 5 years I still have the Thermaltake Tower 900 and I love it 🤩🤩, This new Thermaltake Tower model are pretty nice
The timelapse build is great, would love to see more like it!
That case is much bigger than I thought it would be !😬
I know thermaltake get a lot of negativity at times, but they are the pioneers of color and this was such a good idea, really showed the hardware off well
You're such a pro James! Cable tidying on the reverse of a Project Zero build, where no bugger is ever going to see your work. Was good to see you having a little struggle to get the reservoir in, which shows that you're still human and have not been assimilated by your Borg-esque build 😂😂
Thanks !
Pretty cool design from TT, I used to hate them, but in recent years they seem to be doing a killer job with cases
what a stunner - green is often overlooked and it can look great too, I tend to opt for blue, as a lot of blokes do I think.
Blue for the win or could have gone with white.
I love this case, I got the green one so when I saw the thumbnail I was excited to see what you would do with it ! I guess black and green works too
Wow dont often see a green rig, that is friggin epic man
👍
A green build ! Unusual and I like it. That case is pretty cool too.
Didnt Alienware copyright the colour green?
Love that plumbing at 12:01. So scary all that liquid around electric!
That's what always put me off doing my own cooling loop. Think AIO is probably safest although you could probably air cool the Zen 5 or new Luna Lakes.
nice timelapse, I love that stuff !
Timelapse was great thanks James
Pleasure 👍🏻
I like James. Really laid back. 🤘🏻
😊
looks great James. Well done.
Thank you! Cheers!
Looked great James, well done!
Thanks 😊
I must say kitGuru nice work on billd thermal take love the case sweet
Thanks 👍
Love the motherboard and case, thanks James !
No problem.
nicely done James. Loved the Timelapse section ❤
Thanks! 😊
I love green. It’s not used enough ❤
Great, another system I will not be able to afford - but always nice to see them
No worries!
Good hardware selection. Surprised they didn’t send a coloured version of the case 😮
Glad to see you doing the builds again!
Great job James. Thank you 🤩
Glad you liked it!
I like the loop James, it seems very quiet too based on the last part of the video, excellent job
Yes, with the big 420mm radiator there's no need for high fan speed.
Looks awesome, as all your builds do James, that AMD frame still is in my head as one of the nicest PC's i have ever seen. master at work!
Awesome build ! really enjoyed that, looks great when finished
I'm glad you like it. 😊
I've built2 Tower 300 computers recently and they are wonderful cases. The 600 looks even easier.
Two ? You must like that case or are you building for people ?
@@KitGuruTech I built one for myself and the wife liked it so much she wanted one.
Excellent work 💚👀
Thanks !
That loop turned out well in the end. was wondering how you would build it, the timelapse was good
Thanks !
Awesome work James - love your builds, been finding them through your channel lately, might be an idea to make categories for them as they are hard to find TBH
Thanks !
Looks well James 😮
Thanks 😊
That is beautiful. Never thought of green coolant. That case is very nice but I am surprised they sent the boring black version with all those funky colours they have.
Not a fan of green coolant would have preferred an electric blue or wee wee yellow.
@pixelrefresh348 it did cross my mind to use wee wee yellow. 😂
@@KitGuruTech 😁 plus wee wee yellow is a cheap and readily available supply
Holy smokes, now that i see that thing is humongous irl, maybe 300's for me
It’s a big ‘un 😀
Looks awesome, Hulk build !
Acid green, melted my face off Kitguru - I am not a fan of green mind you, but its interesting to see a build with green liquid in it.
I like that a lot , nice build
Glad you like it
Wow, I wish I could build something like that myself :(
OH a James system for the weekend, jsut what the doctor ordered
I’d love to have seen the racing green case on Kitguru
It’s a pretty looking colour. Leo likes it.
Come on MB makers we need more BTF boards , but for both AMD and Intel
Nice GPU that, I was going to buy one the same a while ago
The acid green theme looks so cool! Are the fans noisy at full speed?
Would be amazing if it is released in time for Halloween!! 😁🎃
I was curious about the fan noise too, kitguru responded to another person with the same question and said they are ok but noisy at high RPM
@@CatherineMitchell-br8dx ahh thank you! Must've missed that 😵💫
They are a little loud at max RPM but nothing out of the ordinary.
I like the black version of this case. Don’t know what people are complaining about.
Should have cycled the fans green as well to match !
They were green in the final build, just while filling the coolant they were rainbow as I'd not been into windows to set the lighting.
Good one!
Thanks!
Spectacular ! Are those fans loud? havent. been able to find many reviews on them and no one talks about the new levels, they are expensive, just wanted to check with you if possible
The fans are OK, a little loud at high RPM but tuning fan curves to suit your ears solves that.
Those fans 45 quid for 3? what is going on with the cost of fans now ?!!! its crazy
Cause they are extra fancy
They are good fans. But yes. Expensive
Nice build although not sure about the green though!
Why not?
I like. I'd like a British Racing Green or darker SKU; I think it would go well with the Acid Green loop. How dismantleable is the case? It will take a standard m-ATX board just not a PZ or BTF back connect one.
The case disassembled very easily and you could drill out rivets if you want to go all the way.
Where can you get things powder coated nowadays?
can a Eatx mobo fit on this tower? like the evga z690 kingpin?
very nice but does it work with the horizontal stand kit (problem with the cooling pump I guess) ?
I didn't actually try the horizontal stand with the system running. I prefer it vertically. 😊
How does the rear I/O work on this case? Is it just not usable? It seems like the case blocks off all the ports?
Would be nice if you got some other motherboards in white or silver too, that MSI one is getting some use lol
There isn't much choice of back connect boards yet, maybe there will be more AMD X870 coming hopefully.
When available in France !? Idem for rgb TT ram DDR5 at a good price .
Excellent build James, like watching an artist at work. Wasnt such a fan of the music in this one, turned if off to be honest
BACKGROUND MUSIC made this unwatchable. I'm trying to listen to Bach simultaneously! We provide our own background music when it's wanted.
@@comradeborkHaha, I did the same for the time lapse but with Abba!
How bout the thermal on GPU? Wont this orientation in the end gonna kill some GPU? I really liked the case though.
I would like you to make a build with Mini-ITX motherboard in the biggest Full Tower case you can find .
Why?
Because no-one does that😭
Like having a HUGE house, but only living in the kitchen 😂
@@PCPro2017
Preciselly
Im curious to know - are there are any overheating issues with the vertical mounting?
No, there doesn't seem to be.
I love green, we dont see enough green systems but dont thermaltake make this case in two versions of green? what are they doing giving you the black one !!!!
Why not the green case they sell ?
That TT watercooling kit looks good - how does it compare with aquatuning James? I would have used to say EKWB. but no one cares about them anymore, sad ending for them
The TT cooling gear is very good. The fittings especially are excellent. I have no complaints with the CPU block, pump/res or radiator either.
James builds are really lovely. I was going to buy one of these cases after computex and Leo’s coverage. But would love to see the colours in the flesh before picking one. I idea why they went the black one. Boring tbh.
How long did this to make James? curious
The system took the best part of a day to build.
What is the total dimension while in the stand? Thanks
I really like the thermal take the tower case. Annoying you have to say the in front of tower when talking about it though.
THis is a good looking case, I would have prefered to see the green version the black one is quite boring especally as they fgocus so much on the colors in their videos
If they ever make a successor to this, they gotta make it curvy instead of compromising with the polygon shape 🤔
Is this the biggest version of the tower case they do?
There is the Tower 900 but that's a more square shape.
I love that case, pretty sad they just sent a black one, instead of the racing green colour, would have made more sense considering the ACID. green liquid you used. black is meh now
I think the Matcha Green is my favourite too.
How much do all the components in this cost? did you work out the price?
Probably around £2500 or a little more.
No racing green case sacrilege !! 😅
A Matcha Green case would have been good.
What colour is the fluid ? is it TT fluid or Mayhems?
It's TT fluid, mixed myself using their dye kit.
I know they "say" it's good for an open loop... but not really. I like the case personally, more than my Lian Li Evo XL. I might switch to it on my next build
evamp. But I'd just go with an AIO. I've done my last open loop I think.
What are the GPU en CPU temps under full load?
CPU is mid 80's and GPU around 60c. Quite impressive really. That's during a simultaneous 3DMARK Speed Way and Cinebench stress test.
Probably 169-199£.
Possibly more.
+100£ with the display and stand
GPU cable hook up???
Got room for a Hulk Funko Pop?
😂
Weird they wanted a green build and supplied a black case
Did the mean eco friendly build?
I picked the green theme. It would have been good with the Matcha Green case for sure.

Would have been x100 interesting with commentary instead of cheezytunezzz!
BACKGROUND MUSIC made this unwatchable. I'm trying to listen to Bach simultaneously! We provide our own background music when it's wanted.
I like the case and could easily mod it but will never buy as I am not a fan of any company advertising their name all over and the TT has to go.
Ok fair enough 👍🏻
So you will never buy any PC part then? Everything has the company logo! Your statement is hilarious.
@@andyrudd1966 there is a difference between a company Logo and a In your face all over Logo.
amazing build - I wish I was that good
