Hi Stuart. I've been meaning to comment for some time but have been so busy I haven't got around to it. I have to say I have thoroughly enjoyed the increase in reviews you have done recently. I always love it when you do a review because nobody else puts the same level of focus on water cooling support or the same breadth and depth of topics and content. I also wanted to give you a heads up that I will be sending you Version 6 of my PC components icon set within the next few days via email. Version 5 took Adobe nearly 8 weeks to review and approve before publishing on my profile for people to purchase on the Adobe Stock site so you should get a good couple of months exclusive access and use of the latest update that adds a load of new components such as the CAMM2 and LPCAMM2 RAM plus many extras to update existing ones with the latest standards bringing the total number of icons up to 375 plus about another 50 odd in the "unused icons' layer that are turned off by default. I may also include a build template that you can use when putting together invoices for your clients just in case you may find it useful.
I just did a tower 300 build in their racing green and loved the build quality and attention to detail as far as how its assembled if they release the 600 in the same color I might just have to upgrade
Very good informative review, thank you! I have question about the Vapor Chamber issues. I want to mount (with the help of a PCIe Riser cable + a mount) the GPU over the PSU covers. This way the GPU will be in the correct position for when the case is standing up. However, for this to happen, I think no radiators/fans should be put on the left and right side of the case - otherwise there will be no space. The Tower 500 I think this i doable, because you can put a 280mm AIO on the top of the case, leaving you with blank canvas for the top of the PSU covers (the two removable plates) This case does not support a top rad, so for this plan to happen I need to place my AIO on the right side and put a short two fan GPU again horizontally, but pushed far left on those PSU covers. What do you think, is this doable on either of the cases (500 or 600) or If I want a tower case, I should be looking at liquid cooled GPU? I bought new parts some months ago - 280mm AIO among them - and will soon look to buy 4070 ti or super. I like the tower cases, and want to change my current Thermaltake Core X5 Riing with the new tower designs, but I'm worried about the GPU temps. Thank you!
Would be nice if the ports could be moved to bottom or top per builders preference, if they just made it the same size as the display the two could be enterchangeable. The best usb ports and power button location depends on if computer is on top or below the desk.
Personally where they are is best for me because Im planning to lay it on its side with the optional kit which will put them just behind my monitor out of sight.
Should have waited with my build, went with the tower 300, don't get me wrong I love how it turned out, but that more space in this beauty would have been nice aswell 😅
I own the tower 900 in black and the tower 300 in hydrangea blue, I'll also be buying this tower 600 when it drops, I love the placement of the usb ports and if you go for the optional standike I did, you gain flexibility on where the usb ports are, I would NEVER sit any tower series case on top of the desk, but that's just me, altho my tower 300 sits horizontally on top of my tower 900 so who am I to judge lol
I just so happen to have the same MB you used, along with a Sapphire 7900 XTX Pulse that I was concerned about it fitting. I just read that some GPU vapor chambers run quite a bit more hot with the IO facing up. I know you have water cooled yours so this will not pertain to this review but I will need to find out more info. Running it horizontally with the stand might be needed. Very thorough review, thank you...
I *really* like the look of this case, but it only has space for one 3.5" HDD. My current build uses the Thermaltake Level 10 GT and has all five HDD bays full. If I get a new build, I'd have to either get a NAS case for the other drives, replace the HDDs with 2.5" SSDs and NVMEs, or forego this case entirely and get the Tower 500 instead.
I see a huge flaw so those fans are blocking the other pci express slot you cant even add a capture card to it internally unless you do not put those fans.
Lovely to see content on this case! Not even on the Thermaltake website! I would've loved to see an mATX board in here! Shame you weren't able to try that. I'm doing an mATX build, I like the improvements they made and the options for GPU cooling fans. Torn between the Tower 300 and the 600, but the 600 is a very wide boy, and I want a forward facing orientation on my little desk. And I don't want to wait the months for the colour I want. Any news on release date?
I'm just guessing it here, but I imagine the way they did to get rid of the green glass is just by changing the glass type to "Crystal Clear glass", it's what Aquascapers use on their fish tanks, the glass is super clean,if you don't see the edges it almost looks like there's nothing in there, super nice. It should be the standard glass for these type of cases, but crystal clear glass are very expensive compared to normal glass.
They have a good thing going for them then. Next iteration it would be nice to have interchangeable top and bottom plates for the front io and screen. Would have to be a cutout for the top but I can see it being do-able.
If I see this correctly, there's no cover for the "rear IO" so you'll just see the cables sticking out into the top? There's also no fan / RGB hub I suppose, can't find anything about this on their website.
Does the be quiet ! Dark power pro 13 1,600W power supply fit in the tower 600 case? Or I need a smaller power supply? Please let me know if you read this cause I’m buying that case in Amazon and thank you.
I want this case for my next build but I don't think I can handle water cooling so I'll use a 140mm tower double fan for my i9 13900k I'll be fine right? I do 3 commercials in blender and 3d long format videos and a little gaming on the side at 1440 ultra?
I have thought so for a long time, but never actually said so, I think: You got to be about the most skilled PC builder I have seen, on RUclips and elsewhere. Really clean and nice work. Also very good attention to detail on the review itself. This case is really quite quirky, as to be expected from this design. If you plan out your build well, it can look great, but port access is certainly less than practical and space efficiency is relatively low, too.
Question for you. Do you reckon My noctua nh d15 would fit with the gpu in the riser position? Would love to set it up like this its hard to tell how far over the card sits.
I really like the layout of this case, but I would like to insert an Arctic liquid freezer III (68 mm thick in total). In the video you say that there are only 62 mm at the bottom for an aio liquid cooler, so I can't put an Arctic LF 360 or 420 that reach the bottom, but if I put a 280 do you think I would have problems on the top (always on the right side) of the case? Would it touch the motherboard? thanks.
i built in a 420 Arctic freezer III its possible but be warned its very tight in the bottom with the power supply and you need to be a lil bit creative ^^

I like the case but not the front I/O and the TT's all over. The I/o would force me to stand every time I use it being on the top and the TT's would have to be painted as I don't like advertisement all over the case and fans. As it is I would Cut and lay down the motherboard tray then cut the tower down to fit which would then make it easier to use the I/O and the TT's would all Go Away..
