Since sky replacement became easy I have been taking my own skies when I am out and the clouds are looking nice. I think putting my own skies into my boring photos takes away any probability that they will look generic.
Agreed. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and we almost never have cumulus clouds due to the cool California Current flowing past our shores out of the Gulf of Alaska. Now that I have a drone, I can capture our local skies and save them for future use.
You can use your own. What I have done is created a file with skies and when you go to the sky replacement option you can click on the plus sign from the menu and go to your skies files and pick from there.
Thank you Anthony I take it that in photoshop you can then load a sky directly from "My Library" to use ? what if you have also saved them to a file also on your machine (windows 10) pse ?
Because now I can take a nice picture with a flat, boring grey or white sky, add a few clouds, do a little work and it's way more interesting. Rendering in 3D? WTH are you talking about in reference to this topic?
@@joelwexler 'now I can take a nice picture' of a 'flat, boring, grey(sic) or white sky'. Do you have a room temperature IQ or what? That is one of the dumbest statement I've ever heard.

Thank you!
It pays of to specify the search term for a particular kind of clouds such as "cirrus" or "thunder"
Thank you Anthony very grateful
That's great! Thanks, I had no idea they were available. 👍😀
Thanks for the tip, bu,t I, too have the awesome Ocudrone skies per your videos previously recommending them.

I noticed that some of the "skies" were landscape shots. How does that work? Do you get a corn field in the sky also? 🤔
Just don't tell Scott Keys from Wildlife Inspired 😆
They are all water marked !
Why bother taking photos at all, you can just render in 3D.
Because now I can take a nice picture with a flat, boring grey or white sky, add a few clouds, do a little work and it's way more interesting.
