I really admire Aman because of his commitment to his work and his work ethic. We are living in a age of SCAM 😬😬 , i don't know what to say I agree with most of the points but just last year I took an course from an big online course for banking and may be hard work may be luck i got selected in the biggest banking PSB in India . With all this controversies, my takeaway is that there's andha paisa in edtech, folks getting 50k in 3rd year, this is the salary of an IAS officer btw. Tech companies do pay 1 L a month but the work is extremely challenging. This teaching thing has too much flexibility and good money. I think aman is right here

Till this age, I had a thought that one needs to be crazy nerdy about his/her thing, only then he/she can get respect. This podcast has made me realise that you may be very smart or nerdy or nobel but if you are boring, none of that matters. Aman is no doubt a nice guy, a smart guy but he doesn't have a slight idea about what fun is. Listening to him talk eventually gets boring as fuck and it starts feeling like a cog in a machine.
I really needed this. Now I know, smartness and intelligence isn't the only thing worth praising in the world. One must have a sense of humor and social awareness which brings some sort of ease to everyone.

Attachment....why? Why I shouldn't be attached to my work. I don't mean that work is everything in life. But its the attachment which brings us back to our workplace and gives satisfaction.
Sadly they all are integral parts of life. You can't even run. Life is a unavoidable misery pumped up with emotions of fear, anger, pleasure etc and even knowing all this, you are still attached to life. That's why it's a misery. So we are again at the the first step. If you tried to avoid it then again you will end up in misery which is again life.Ha, a think you got the idea.

Attachment is not same as love, as some may think. Loving work is one thing and it is enough to keep working everyday. Attachment having way too far expectations from what you do. One may be idiot and be attached to what he or she does, and finally be non-productive in his work.
SRK remained attached to his image which finally doomed his career. Whereas AK detached from his action hero image and evolved as an actor. He emerged winner in the end. Detachment helps person to evolve and do better. Just going everyday to your work, office is not enough.

Hi Raja, I will try to build more hobbies and a personal life.
For personal life I shifted my office and my home in the same building, so that I can spend more time with my parents.
For hobbies - I like driving and playing with my pet, I usually drive every night.
Baki teaching is also my hobby and my students are also my family, they give me enough motivation and energy to keep working.

Okay..it's going to be very difficult to explain here but i will try my best.
Criticising a logically correct perceptive is like walking in a field of mines, every step there is an argument for me to tackle.
In short it's nearly impossible to present my perceptive here but i will try.
When you were suggesting Aman a different perceptive or view point to look from or to consider, that's where i said what i said.
My understanding and reason behind it is : when you were suggesting him all those good ideas he seemed unwelcoming to those ideas, and was backing off not strongly but normally which in my understanding is that he have created a system around him which facilitate his whatever near optimal effective system for his life's tasks and if these kind of good arguments disturbs his inner clarity from where he functions and solves his professional and personal problems it's a loss for him.
And that's in my understanding in your position isn't the ideal way of delivering an idea to someone cause it directly hits your image in someone else eyes cause you did got it all right on paper but missed the core of a person who was hanging out with you.
I know all this sounds bizarre maybe but it isn't, it's just difficult to present all the nuance here.
In short I would say that it was a good idea on paper but didn't fit Aman right in many ways, hence my comment that I did was about that he protecting his core's integrity which he have earned through many trials and errors was sensible. And on your part you were logically very correct on paper but was hitting a place where it wasn't required or i must say it like : it wasn't presented really well though it's logical.
I can present this better then this but that's what I can here. 👍

1) being hesitant isn't a sign that the person has a system in place (that's a HUGE assumption). It could be a) they are close minded b) they have settled in a comfort zone c) stuck in the prison of their habits d) lack in openness personality trait e) or you don't know *i would go with I don't know instead of "he has it figured out" which you don't know*
2) openness trait in personality, neophilia, novelty, experiencing biculturalism, looking for the new, opening yourself to experiencing the new are all HIGHLY associated to long term happiness, increase in varied perspectives, development of larger perspectives towards life and self, and evaluation of the relation between life and self. (even science on this is solid) -- *i was suggesting him something which is scientifically backed and any thinker or philosophy will back too*

All i was presenting was an alternative perspective, he can take it or leave it. On one hand, you are ascribing prudence to him, on the other hand, you are taking it away from him by implying that he won't be able to handle ("disturbs his inner peace") a few alternative povs.

You are saying this repeatedly yet not realizing what I said is actually how life practically ought to work. A complete cultivation of the mind and personality. A personal life has at least 15 aspects to it (and they keep adding as you grow older), not one or two. Also, extremes in life are extremely dangerous -- this is commonsensical knowledge.
I think you like him, so you are displeased that I offered him perspectives which may have been things he has been reluctant to explore or think about. Doesn't make the perspectives "theoretical" (you have to objectively study them instead of looking at them from Aman's or abc's point of view). Also, this makes your criticism non-objective.
I like objective criticism, brother, because it actually requires intellectual analysis. Yours is an emotional one (i say this with all due respect to you).
Do this thinking exercise (if you would like to):
Try removing your feelings for Aman by replacing his name and likeness with xsquare.
Now hear all the perspectives that I gave being given to a person called xsquare whom you have no feelings for, you don't know them or feel for them at all.
Then evaluate the perspectives. (you'd be able to objectively)

I may get emotional about you but never on Aman haha (I'm not mocking).
All your points as i said are backed with facts, good reasoning and we'll informed perceptive i do understand all those possibilities but again I would say as i said in my last reply that the way you presented the idea wasn't really coming from a neutral place but with all the information you have which could be good for him but in presenting a good point it may make a person feel in a way overwhelmed too when it comes from you and I'm not saying you forced your perceptive on him.
It was a open suggestion.
As you said maybe there is some reason behind his discomfort ( could be x y z reason) but those all can be assumptions too. But ofcourse idk is good place to start the observation so from there whatever I saw i presented it.

I was having red mi 7s with me and due to low space and features i was not able to use it properly so i used to spend my time in making more money cause whenever i touch my phone it used to call me garib. It's very much annoying as suddenly the sound became loud. We can adjust it to down but there's a limit in volume up!!! And yes, please carry on with this.

Finally, I got the answer why Managers are paid highly compared to other category of employees. Things are literally very different then what it seems to be. Reality is way more interesting then fiction. And, I like real things to play with.

Sadly they(faamp) all are integral parts of life. You can't even run. Life is a unavoidable misery pumped up with emotions of fear, anger, pleasure etc and even knowing all this, you are still attached to life. That's why it's a misery. So we are again at the the first step. If you tried to avoid it then again you will end up in misery which is again life.Ha, a think you got the idea.
