This was a great audio tour. I toured the ATM cave this past February and it was an absolutely amazing experience. I also appreciated the no phones/camera policy for 2 reasons - #1 you really need to pay attention while you are in hiking and climbing and swimming in the cave and #2 there is nothing to distract you from observing the place you are in with all of your senses.

I did this in 2014 with my now wife. I was devastated we couldnt bring out go-pros to take video or pics. This was the most amazing experience I ever had, and I’ve done a fair share of exploring. If you ever get a chance to go to Belize and do this excursion, DO IT. You will not regret it. In a way, not being able to video and take pics, was a blessing, because I was fully present. Your walking through crystal clear, beautiful blue water for parts of this, squeezing/climbing rock, and then all of the sudden you’re in a huge opening. It is an experience i’ll never ever forget. To see the remains of mayans from thousands of years ago, really puts things into perspective. It is just incredible. Dont let the fact you cant bring a camera, stop you from going. We almost decided not to because of that, and after we finished I remember us both saying how grateful we were to have been through such an amazing experience!!

Ive been there several times. It is a transformative experience to say you swam through the Mayan underworld I promise.

@@DailyMemes566 One of the highlights of the trip. We did so much in Belize, the whole time there was amazing. But this was definitely an challenging, thrilling, scary and fun adventure. Even better than we expected.
