right.... same paint job, yet they are saying the newer black color is more aerodynamic... I am still using the 2018 version. It is great, just put a little bit of lead on the 9 & 3. Love that Harry ends with, "Just get the black!" What happened to honest review....
I consistently purchase two new Yonex Ezone rackets with each release. Upon learning that Yonex was introducing the same racket in a different color, I promptly acquired two more of the previous 7th Gen 2022 model, as I find its old design more appealing. Fortunately, I'm pleased that no changes were made to the racket since it's perfect as it is.
I'm thinking of switching from Babolat Pure Drive to Yonex Ezone because I trust japanese tech like Toyota and I love the new colors. Would you say that the Ezone 100 in the standard blue is the same as the new 100 in black? Also, which racquet would you say would be the best transition from a standard Babolat pure drive? there are so many options like 100, 100L, 98L etc. Thanks!
@@joshawott3323 get the 100 because it has a 100 inch head size while also being 300 grams which is the perfect weight. You should also use yonex poly tour pro strings with that racket.
Well @@joshawott3323 there is no difference in the 2022 colours and the 2024 colours, so it's up to you for the colou. For the options, how heavy was your Pure Drive?

I think the comparison is a bit irrelevant if you don't measure what specs they came in. I have the blue EZ98 and it came in with a very low SW. Like 12 under spec.
Hey, what do you think to switch from an old 2003 Pure Drive Team (100-300) to the Ezone 100? Im looking for more control, intermediate level
Ezones in general to me at least feel similar to most pure drives but with more control and feel with a bit less power. I’d recommend it for what you seem to want

Same racquet, different paintjob. Mine came underspec in every spec so yeah it feels faster and slightly different to my 2022 version but that can happen between 2 2022 ezones as well.

I seriously doubt that this is a 24 version at all.
I play two blue colored 98 and also bought a the black edition. There is no difference. Why should there be one? Why should Yonex tell us that there is no difference if there was one?

I'd like to hear more acknowledgement around preference vs subjectivity in videos like this. Given Yonex states it's simply a paint change, maybe highlight more that a preferred paint color may create more confidence for an individual which could translate to better performance. And that a new frame will always be stiffer (crisper, more powerful) than an older frame of the same model. Otherwise, some of this can come across as misleading...

So I have 2 old yonex DR 100’s. One extended length and one regular. Also two 2020 ezone 100’s . One I bought slightly used for $100. Since I bought two new Wilson Burn 100 V 4 and V 5 on sale (Harry recommended), I won’t be in the market for another racquet anytime soon.

3. instruments for playing (rackets, weight and dimensions, balls)
4. tutorials for the game. For example. For Russians to learn to play at a high level, they had to go to study in the USA and Spain. (Russians are simple students of the English game of tennis)
The British are very neat and precise, so they created the perfect game. Ideal court, ideal equipment, ideal rules of the game.

“Sometimes a colour change affects the way it plays” 🤣🤣 bro professional players change up their paint jobs every couple years for marketing, if it changed the way their rackets played it would be disastrous.
Different paints will have different frictions with the air and could, indeed, make a racket feel faster or slower.

Hello everyone.. I had a Ezone 100 (bue) and I've switched to Ezone 98 in that case, black edition. The seller here in Brazil just said about changes, only cosmetic. So I am not a good person to say if it has or not difference but, I really like 98 than 100.
