Bradley IFVs messing up Russia's invasion of Ukraine for eight minutes straight

- US Bradley fighting vehicles have proven extremely effective as Ukraine battles to stop the Russian invasion of the country. Video taken by the 47th Brigade somewhere near the town of Sokil shows at least two Bradleys stopping a Russian assault. The Russians have landed troops in a tree-line belonging to the Ukrainians, and the 47th sent Bradleys to fight them back. Video shows the tree-line lighting up with fire from the Bradleys’ Bushmaster chain guns, firing high-explosive shells.
As one Bradley stops shooting the other takes up the fire, keeping the Russians suppressed as they both go in for a closer look. The 47th is the main Ukrainian brigade using the Bradleys, which featured heavily in fighting around Avdiivka. During that battle two of the vehicles were able to take out one of Russia’s best tanks, the T-90M. The Bradleys were able to blind the tank’s sensors, causing it to crash before a drone finished it off. Avdiivka was eventually captured by Russia, so the Bradleys refocused on stopping Russia’s advance to the west of the city. The armoured vehicles were used to wipe out Russian BTRs and the troops they were carrying into battle. Again, their chain guns proved lethally effective against the BMPs notoriously thin armour and against infantry. Particularly heavy fighting happened in the town of Berdychi, where the Russians were held up for weeks without moving forward. Ultimately the Russians have been making slow gains in the area, but the Bradleys have ensured it has come at a high cost. The first time the Bradleys appeared in Ukraine was during Kyiv’s counter-attack in the south last summer. They helped captured the town of Berdychi from Russia. It was hoped the vehicles would prove effective at breaking Russian lines, but they ultimately fell short of this goal. However, they undoubtedly helped save the lives of their crews while inflicting heavy losses on their enemies. #BradleyIVF #Bradley #russia #ukraine #war

@@JGold-cu5mo I think they explode on contact. Not every round is a tracer. You should goggle Bradly ammo. Its very advanced stuff. I was amazed when I did. I fotget all the details now.

When I was active duty, I was assigned As a dismount troop, riding in the back of Bradleys.
They are pretty tough for what they are.
Everyone needs to remember, the Bradleys main job is to protect their dismount troops.
Uncle Bradley sure brings heat to the battle with the bushmaster and TOW. Glad they are not looking for me.
That's remarkable. A Bradley should be outclassed by any tank on the battlefield, but here they bested a tank in head-to-head combat. The Bradley is a very tough machine.

UA Bradleys need more TOWs if they're planning on using IFVs to engage main battle tanks, because HE and APDS rounds bounce off MBTs.
Not true my friend the T90M was penetrated and thereafter destroyed by the Bradley's 25 mm Canon. Decorated United States Army tank Commander here. The T90M shot three times and missed three times at the Bradley's at close range. That is so pathetic it cannot be described. Whereas the Bradley's with 30-year-old vehicles penetrated the turret ring and the transmission running gear of the T90M with relative ease. That is why you see the T90Ms turret spin out of control along with the T90M running into a tree because it lost the functionality of its transmission because of Bradley 25 mm penetrations. This should not have happened in any way manor shape or form as the T90M which is Russia's best tank should have easily been able to destroy the Bradley's if it were a decent tank. As with everything Russian it is crap and we found out it in the Gulf war when we destroyed many t72s that 3700 m with ease with our main guns.

What type of ammo are they using?
Depends on the target. The Bradley's chaingun has a dual feed system, so they can have two types of rounds loaded at the same time, selectable by the gunner at any time. Usually one box will have APDS-T (or possibly the depleted uranium based APFSDS-T; AFAIK we still don't know if they were given them or not) for armored targets and the other will have HEI-T for unarmored ones.

In video gam parlance, “that’s farming” Bradleys are savage and are chock full of infantry to make things even chittier for the other guys. Main Battle Tanks are insane but cost a lot and don’t carry infantry safely. Modern Bradleys are scary if you don’t have one… bet the Ukrainians could use a few A10s to sidecar those sweet F16s…..

Bradley's arent invincible. But the crews operating them survive most of the time. The vehicle was designed with crew safety as one of the main aspects. Meanwhile russkie BMP, MTLB and BTR crews are getting mauled into swiss cheese when attacked. Zero regard for the crews/infantry when the Russians designed them. I would rather ride along in a Bradley then in one of those Ruskie rustbuckets 😂
Also Russia lost lots of T-90 tanks during this war. The tanks Putin called invincible and indestructible. T-72 or T-90 the turrets fly to the moon all the same. That auto loading/storaging ammo beneath the turret is a deathtrap.

I have seen so many destroyed bradleys that I view them as useless, just because one got lucky for a few minutes does not mean anything. Ukraine keeps withdrawing and this Bradley has probably already been toasted, with or without the people inside.

The situation is completely hopeless, no one will win this war, it will be as sad as the return of soldiers from Afghanistan in 1989, but the troops will still be on the border, it will be something similar to the border between North Korea and South Korea, there will be slight territorial changes, but in general the border will not change much.
