to everyone leaving comments... yeah you're probably completely right. i'm pretty sure i recorded and edited this around... 11 PM or something, and i woke up at 3AM, so the things i was writing may not have been... exactly well-rounded, good opinions. as you can imagine, not ideal. also, this video IS mostly an opinion piece. and yes, i am very, very aware, i have a major skill issue. one more thing, thank you for leaving comments and sharing your thoughts on this barely-passable video i made in like 30 minutes (if you left actual criticism, if you were just going "WHO ASKED???" please stop. you watched the video, you read the title, you knew you were getting into an opinion piece.)

i would've wanted to get footage showing that but 1080p footage absolutely obliterates my hard drive and waiting an indefinite amount of time to find one would make my hard drive want to stab it's liver out. i have... one friend who plays jjs, and they don't have early access... so.... couldn't really do that.

Oddly enough when i play as Gojo, i dont take a passive type of playstyle as i always stay neutral depending on the person's playstyle, if they are aggressive, sometimes being passive and defensive works to attack em when open, i usually dont use red or blue in M1's as its pretty useless when the enemies has side dash resdy to escape ragdolls, i usually use twin kicks after 3 M1's to bait dash escape, or 4 M1's, thats when you should really try to combo, 3 M1's into either rapid punches or twin kicks, your choice, then follow up with blue, into whatever melee type move available, back into red, many ways to chain all 4 moves, ingame you're using him more passively, which isnt bad, each person has their own playstyle but using Gojo like Megumi isnt gonna work, Gojo is pretty good to keep pressure on enemies since the dmg he does is hella strong, and even if you you have everything on cooldown, still try to maintain pressure by making a simple M1 combo to a downslam to give yourself some time to breathe and or bait a dash escape, try different playstyles with Gojo, maybe one will make you like hik better, im flexible, always depending how ppl play, if they play defensively, im a bit aggressive while staying defensive too, blending both to surprise the enemy, and dont throw moves randomly, every move has a purpose, dont use rapid punches randomly unless it is 100% guaranteed its gonna land, think of how to chain it into a combo than just randomly firing moves, also my b for this long ass comment but hopefully you'll get to enjoy Gojo more
i really dislike yuji in jjs, his infinite combo is ridiculous and almost everyone who uses him does it, it takes away so much of ur hp
I totally get your point with Gojo, I too feel he's a busted out character, but that I believe its what makes it truly shine.
That may sound like "cuz he's the strongest" type slop, but take for instance an actual issue within the game: excesive jumping, in such scenarios gojo REALLY is a good character to pick, rather than pasive or aggresive playing it really can be both, since playing agressively or pasively does pay off in 1v2, 1v3, etc scenarios according to your enemies flaws and tendencies, gojos abilities also allows for a good neutral and can also be busted and fun for jumping, cuz of R tp kick special and Lapse Blue to counter runners (either alone or jumping someone).
And for his ult, I state the same, its really useful against getting outnumbered, and in a 1v1 scenario, infinite void is easily avoidable or cancelable if you have Ult (for istance, sukunas long range m1 cuts, megumis either great mobility techs or pop up mahoraga for the s, and hakaris jackpot can just tank it i reckon) Max blue output is busted sometimes cuz it glitches and oneshots, but cant say much except for try your best to cancel him before it can activate, and Hollow Purple most times either you stick to them or use mobility to dodge it, although that last one uneffective, most times turns out working, Plus, gojos ult is SUPER cancelable, even on base you can cancel out easily max blue, reversal red and domain, the only trouble being hollow purple but at the very least its use is proportional to the enemie's aim, if bad, then it turns into an useless ability.
To conclude, ye gojo a little bit op but thats completely ok in my opinion cuz this game is crazy and crazy characters like him are needed, and besides, yeah it can be a bummer to lose your ult to an annoying gojo domain, but at the end theres no real punishment for it, you just try again and hopefuly get your vendetta!!

Gojo is more of a character who can adapt to a certain situation, applying pressure and being defensive at the sams time, that can kinda make it unfun to play as and play against, but characters like yuji, hakari and mahito all have basically 1 combo that people do for the most amount of dmg. Megumi is the exception, being able to pull off like 2-3 different combos with his moves. But other then that, being able to have a different playstyle on characters like hakari and yuji is VERY hard, since they are more agressive, especially when in ult.
TL;DR
Its very rare to find a character who can play both agressively and passively, which can sometimes be unfun to fight or play as, but overall its balanced in its own weird way.

Gojo is balanced, the ranged moves it has which i saw you talk about in the video can be blocked, forcing you to get in close instead of waiting for them to go off cooldowns
And also the domain is not guaranteed to land and can be canceled, which is what makes almost all the domains balanced.
Final note: all the characters combos have high damage, off the top of my head i can list hakari, yuji, and perfection, pretty sure ten shadows also has one but i forgot
and to be perfectly honest, all domains (except hakari's) are insta-kills indirectly. malevolent shrine? block and die or dont block... and die, infinite void? explained in the video, self embodiment of perfection is probably the stupidest one as mentioned in the video because you dont even have to "try" to get value out of it

Yeah most of your problems is the skill issue (that's so crazy 😜😜😜) and to remind you of how to fix your skill issue is... The most basic mobility tool called "Dashes". Dashing is very and I mean VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY MUCH.. No.. It is the EPITOME of someones skill level, the most IMPORTANT, and so VERY VERY VERY VERY UNBELIEVABLY MUCH crucial, and yet the fact that you are still lacking it is quite the big problem and needs to be fixed. Not only are you lacking in dashes, you are also lacking the ability to *Block* which is another basic yet VERY VERY VERY UNBELIEVABLY IMPORTANT. Hell, might even be on par with dashing! Blocking is what helps you to fight Megumi players, punish Yuji tryna make a lucky Cursed Strike, helps you not die from Sukuna which gives you time and them less time, and it is also the tool you most definitely use against Gojo because Blue and Red (which are ranged) can be blocked fairly easy. You see, Gojo is actually disadvantageous against most characters. Why? Because he has NO combo extenders, NO counter, NO reliable ranged move, and NO special gimmicks but that's the reason why he does so much damage to compensate for his basic moveset, it is literally the first character so there is not much to be expected. Gojo is the character for newbies and you may already see why but if you haven't then I'll explain. Gojo has high damage, OP ult, basic combos, almost no variants, and is literally the "mc" for the show or in other words "stealing the spotlight", he is literally called The Strongest to appeal to new players. Gojo carries the backbone of new players because of this and Tze is a good developer so he must've done this for a reason. What reason you may ask? The flow. The flow of the game is important for the longevity of spent playing on a game and more gaming = more money = profit = living expenses paid for Tze. Because of Gojo, new players won't be having a such a hard time fighting the experienced players. Because of Gojo, people who are getting teamed on have a chance to fight back. Because of Gojo, the flow of the game stays constant. Not too easy and not too hard. His basicness also prevents further tricks to be made in order to make his peak skill level at a medium low. This skill level can be expanded by using other characters because other characters have more flexible or expansive movesets and/or combos and tricks that compensate for their inferior damage against Gojo making people who main Gojo have to use mental tricks that are way harder than pressing a combination of buttons on your keyboard that guarantee a kill. You may complain all you want but that ain't ever gonna fix anything (except if you make a video about it, profit from it, and then continue to live on living) unless you practice on blocking and dashing. Yo goofy ahh cant even fight a Megumi user so how r u gon fight a Gojo huh? Now by no means I promote you to sit down all day everyday on that chair practicing on how to get good at a random silly game that a random stranger made, take physical breaks and mental breaks that gives you a mind of freshness which can break down your mistakes. ok rant over now bai
(Note: remember that dashing and blocking is the core of your playstyle. don't try anything until you have fixed those 2)

@@c4tb0mbwithout variants you can combo max 3 moves, with variants however i have learned a good combo starting with blue+R kick+red R+ that down kick idk what’s it called+ the beat down. btw the blue and red segment are interchangeable with the other segment, the only difference is you need to do beat down before kick using a m1 string. bam, like 20 combo variants staring from blue or m1s. most aren’t possible without R variants.
@@froggo9369Gojo's special has a cd so you need to place that second R somewhere else or reconstruct a new combo to fit 2.
dang fr, well bc kick tps you anyways you could just red normally and in my experience it would work with the knockout time and the red range, but i believe you could dash in and close the distance fast enough to continue the combo, if not you still did decently good damage and you can still start an m1 string to do the other combo portion

Yeah... I think he's unbalanced too. But I still use him tho, because I have a good combo and stuff. But about blue and red is the most annoying part that you have to stun them with full M1 or Twofold Kick or Rapid Punches to make them stun. Because they can perfectly block it for some reason. But y'know... I think if you do Rapid Punches then Blue to make them stun I suggest you spam Blue or just use Blue faster than the speed of light.
