- Suzanne Simpson, 51 has been missing since Sunday, October 6th 2024, where she was attending a party at the Argyle in San Antonio and last seen wearing a black dress and heels. Her husband, Brad Simpson, 53 who she has been married to for 22 years and has four children with, has been arrested on charges related to the alleged events that took place hours before her disappearance. He is currently being held in the Kendall County Jail on a $1 million bond. Let's discuss the updates.
Police describe Suzanne Simpson as a white female with brown hair and hazel eyes. She is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds.Anyone with information on this case or Suzanne is asked to call the Olmos Park Police Department at 210-822-2000.
I've received some emails from friends/former coworkers/etc., here's what they have helped clarify so far: Brad's brother is Bart, who made the Facebook statement we read together (not brother in law, as the police reports states). Apparently, all four children are theirs (not 2 from a previous relationship). Probably unpopular/ too speculative a comment BUT.....
I don't think Suzanne's mum has a healthy response to this. Red flags for me - concerned about money to support for kids; wants to be friends with killer husband; seems to be too keen to explain away her son in laws behaviour. She would be better off saying very little. This isn't her fault but she seems to be taking it personally in a way. Also noting the slightly disparaging description of her being unknowlingly hilarious. Does she think her daughter brought it on herself; she didn't recognise her indecisiveness about the party as being a sign of abuse etc ...
Maybe I am way off but I wonder if these narcissistic traits are part of the reason Susanne had an unhealthy relationship. My over all takeaway from this is her mum seems too keen to explain why she didn't know; how great he was; the plan she had for her daughter but never communicated etc This seems to be more about the narrative of this isn't my fault etc. Maybe she encouraged Susanne to work through problems in her marriage due to her trust in god etc.
Very odd that she seems unaware of the kids feelings and is hoping for a discussion between Dad her and kids to discuss what went wrong.
Maybe she's just old/ in shock/ not equipped to deal with the reality of this so is hiding behind a religious front. I don't think she comes across as someone reliable for psychological support. It doesn't sound like she is close to her grandchildren.
I do believe this lady is in shock and as well maybe has some slight dementia. Bless her sweet heart.
This mother is better than me- cuz ain’t no way I could continue being friends with him…. I wouldn’t be his enemy but I wouldn’t be his friend.
I have had to do this to save my daughter. It’s the hardest thing to do.

@Gisela I live north of there in Texas. Sad part? The agency where she went missing dropped the ball...didnt issue a BOLO to citizens here. We get ones for Houston all the time.

Shes great and good idea remain open communication with son in law brad, this is best stay calm with him to get to the truth..she only knows brad to be respectfulbfamily man but under alcohol influence and behind closed doors she wont know that full picture dynamics whats going on.must be hard grandchildren are now without the parents

Yeah i wish ppl would call LE. They still don’t want to get involved! Ugh. I saved a woman by getting involved. She came back to thank me for saving her life. 😮 I pray for victims who are currently going through torture and pain. I also pray for the survivors and their families/friends to heal 🙏🏼
The police need to look for this mom in the homes she currently had listed or scheduled to show before her disappearance. Her husband could have easily placed her body in one of those places in hopes to draw attention away from him. We had similar case years ago in city nearby. The man did get found guilty and convicted of killing the beautiful popular real estate woman.

Poor mom, I can’t imagine being in her shoes - I’d go crazy! And yes at this point she needs to stay cordial with him until the police find out what happened or he confesses if guilty
of Suzanne’s disappearance. Sweet lady, i too attended Bible study fellowship 30 something years ago and our toddler son attended day care there at same time. It was a nice outing for the two and learned more about the Lord. I recommend these classes for young moms.

I was just going to ask why Federal Marshall's are involved and then you mentioned a Federal retainer....WHAT is Mr. Simpson involved in that causes Federal involvement????
Terrible, sounds like this was not the first incidence of DV when she had already made plans with her mum. Maybe that's why the neighbor was hesitant to call the police. Read one of the younger kids at least witnessed the start of the altercation, poor kids. But I can't figure out why the ATF is involved in that case, did I miss sth?
