Check out Daniel's stoked review of the Firewire Machadocado! He's blown away by this board's performance, saying it's "unreal" and "like cheating"! After riding the Sweet Potato for a year, Daniel was impressed by the Machadocado's speed, drive, and agility. He tested it at Tongs and Suicides in 3-4 ft waves and was thrilled with its capabilities.
Daniel shares his honest feedback on this board's concaves, fins, and overall performance. He's particularly stoked about the board's speed, saying it's "like cheating" and that it "holds beautifully" even in smaller waves. He also mentions that the concaves are "pretty deep" which makes the board turn "on a dime".
If you're in the market for a new grovel board, you won't want to miss this review! Daniel's enthusiasm is awesome, and he'll have you stoked to try out the Firewire Machadocado for yourself. Watch to the end for his verdict on whether this board is worth the hype!

Love the South Shore reviews
Thank you very much. We really appreciate that comment. - HSS Team
Great to have the South Shore Perspective 🤙🏼‼️
Cado surfs better than the sweet potato?!! I’m sold! 🤙🏾
Debería haber una modelo solo con la parte baja de los muebles, depósito agua con ducha y nevera, encima hueco para tablas de surf,
Lo petaria!!❤
Yeahhh Daniel. You Beast Bro 😎 I feel like crap now!! I just sold my 5’4 sweet potato and bought a 5’2 sweet Potato and it RIPPSSS and thanks to YOU I’m rocking with the Endorphins from your previous Hawaiian South Shore Video Review. Now I’m wishing I ended up buying the Machadocado BRAHHHHHHH if only this video came out last week. I even got to float on Macy’s Machadocado last weekend at White Pains. Brahhh I’m all sick now 😅. Mahalo Hawaiian South Shore For all your Video Reviews. I would love to start giving you guys some business!!! But I’m waiting for that first responder Ocean Lifeguard 10% discount. I know you guys do 15 for merchant. But would be so unreal for Boards. Much Love & Aloha Cheeeee 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Great review! Like you, I am around 178 pounds / 80- 81 KGS and wondering if you think you could have sized down from your 5'8 to a 5'6? Bowie Pollard's review said the 5'6 paddled great, more like 34 litres due to the plan shape. Which sounds bang-on for me. The Seaside at 5'8 was just too much foam forward for me. The Mashup at 5'9 is a wee bit big but still works great as its all down the middle. So, looking at the 5'6 Cado. Thanks for your time!! C
Aloha this is David , person that we reviewed on this his name is Daniel. he is a professional level surfer and his paddling powers really strong. He has really powerful legs. I think for most guys error on the little bit of volume doesn't hurt. It's the board feels a little bouncy. You can always use the Endorfins to make the board sit the leading edge of the fins are rounded, so it doesn't let the release as much in it holds.
With the seaside, I totally know what you're talking about sometimes having a board with too much volume of foward some times It makes it hard to catch waves because you're fighting the volume on the nose.

@@hawaiiansouthshore Hi and thanks for your reply! I was meaning to ask the interviewer, who also said they had the 5'8 and is the same weight as me. Yeh the Seaside is very fun on its day but needs to be ridden super short due to the wide point, I feel. I sold mine and was going to size mine down to a 5'5/5'6, then saw this Avocado thing! :)

Yes , I knew you were trying to shout out to Daniel in the video that was being interviewed.
Im the person interviewing him.
Daniel tried the Seaside but it was not his style of surfing.
He's more of a HP Shortboarder.
So as soon as you got on the Machado Cado he was stoked!!
He's pretty picky about his boards and he's tried several other models and last year he settled into the sweet potato.
Pretty much drove two boards into the ground.
And he was searching for a new board since he was getting a little bored
And he tried my Machado Cado and as you see in the video he's stoked. - David
@hawaiiansouthshore Do you no the Machado Cado 5'6 is 2 9/16 thick and the 5'8 is 2 1/2 thick? So the 5'8 is actually thinner then the 5'6, I felt both sizes under arm and the 5'8 feels a little thinner then the 5'6 cado which I like. Has anyone noticed this?

damn, i cant choose between this and the white tiger
hahaha... I haven't surf that white tiger, but the Machado Cado is now my daily town board.
I don't switch boards often.
Of course I would try a few new models but once I find one that I like, I'll surf it for a few years and this one I've been surfing it daily for 3 months now..
Actually, I've been getting compliments on my surfing.
It's really changed my approach the wave
I'm not sure because it's the way it carries through the flats or what but I'm having a lot more fun and I feel like I'm able to connect the dots a lot better. - David
Yeah Dani rips🤙🏼
Sorry! It’s Dano 🤙🏼

OH shoot , sorry, totally missed missed this comment.
I haven't noticed this, but I ride the 58 I'm 180 pounds and it works perfect for me. It actually has enough float on a knee-high sloppy day to get into the way with no problem.
I think the 56 wouldn't have enough volume for me
Daniel, that's on this video got the 56 , he Surfs way better than me.
He's usually one of the best surfers in the lineup wherever he goes.
Don’t tell anybody 🤣
Not sure why anyone would need this board if you have a seaside.
You dont
@@hdeso I think i would rather have 2 seasides 😀
Seaside doesn’t go up and down well is why I would get one of these.
@@TikiLauMusic but as he points out the Cado doesn't stay in the pocket.
Hammah
YEP he rips!! and one of the nicest guys in the line up
