  • Morten Boesen, Denmark’s team doctor says Christian Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest and “was gone” before being swiftly resuscitated on the pitch.
“He was gone,” Boesen said. “We started the resuscitation and we managed to do it. How close were we to losing him? I don’t know, but we got him back after one defib [defibrillation], so that’s quite fast.”

It must have been so scary when they told you what happened. I would be horribly worried all the time too and I really really hope that you talk to someone about it. I obviously don't know you, but the thought of someone/you spending every day worrying after such a scary event just breaks my heart. It must be awful awful awful. They brought him back, do you expect these guys not be traumatized when they are doing the same thing and pushing their bodies too? Chances of that happening to any other in that team are slim to none; but that I can say sitting here and not having to play another game in a day or so after witnessing that.

Its a case by case basis, compared to lets say Muamba in 2012 this isn't as bad a situation, Muamba needed to spend time in an ICU so was in a very bad way even with all the assistance in the world whereas Eriksen was back after 1 fib of the defibrillator so while a very serious situation and he should be stood down for the tournament at least I would say at this point its best to wait and get more details about what actually happened. Anyone can get a cardiac arrest at any time, some are more likely than others but now the question that needs to be asked is was this a once off that could have happened to anyone in which case he can return to football when he feels he's ready or was this a underlying health condition that could lead to him having another Cardiac arrest in which case he should seriously consider continuing his career no matter what the details are of this incident. Until all the details are gathered its impossible to make a decision.

Secondly, in my comment, I stated quite clearly, that there have been no incidents of Cardiac Arrest linked to the vaccine.
A Cardiac Arrest and Myocarditis are two completely separate clinical illnesses, so please don't confuse the two.
There have indeed been a limited number of cases (214 to date, mostly males aged 18-24) who have been diagnosed with Myocarditis. When you consider that there have been 17Million vaccinations in the US alone, 214 cases of Myocarditis is EXTREMELY low.
To date, there have been very few serious complications that can be linked to vaccinations. However, Covid internationally has accounted for the death of over 1Million souls
Anyone with any intelligence or common sense CAN see that getting vaccinated against catching the Covid Virus is the best cause of action and is the only way of preventing even more deaths and suffering.

Worldwide obviously means first world countries and third world countries. The incidents are not relatively low either but the information is not on mainstream news because they are medical reports.
