We love watching your videos. You should come to Texas and cruise out of Galveston. We went on the new Carnival Jubilee for New Year’s Eve cruise. We enjoyed all the new food venues added and all the new open areas. We also cruise on Royal out of Galveston too.

My husband and I are big fans from Irvine, CA. I would love to see more videos of NOLA and Mexico maybe even over the border eats. Our family recently went to Tijuana and had some awesome seafood.. the restaurant is called Mariscos Mazatlan. I would totally put that on the raider. ❤ continued blessings

I came across your videos and It is amazing that you travel to places for a few days or a long weekend. Are flights cheaper on stand by? Do you find hotels to stay when you arrive? I admire your travels! Do you stay in Europe for a week? Are your stand by flights random time slots? My husband and I are retired and want to travel as you do. You both are an inspiration!
We travel as stand by passengers. If space available, we get on. Thanks for watching!

When I left Southern California, there were not many restaurants 31 years ago. People did not go out to eat often. I lived in South Torrance and La Mirada.

You can definitely reach 100,000 subscribers! Congratulations on everything! You're such a joy to watch! I wanted to mention one thing you said that could be slightly misleading to people. You mentioned that when looking for cheap/bargain ways to travel during Christmas to see decorations/festivities was to take a cruise because it's usually cheap at that time. No. Actually, the weeks of Christmas and New Years are the MOST expensive times to go on a cruise. Better bet...Las Vegas (not New Years) but the week around Christmas is usually slow and you can find cheaper hotel rates and lots of holiday decorations.
Thank you, Rachel! Yes, you’re correct and we should’ve clarified better. Cruising the week of Christmas and New Years is expensive for sure. The weeks prior to Christmas and after are much cheaper and can experience the decorations onboard. Thanks for looking after us. 🤗
Your stress levels must be high during the travel elements of your trips. Your weekend time is only traditional Friday night-Sat-Sun? Cramming stuff in 2 b sure! Must be exhausted on Monday after a trip while at work. Thanks for sharing with us. Safe and fun! Bless.
Our 'weekends' are Mon-Wed. Not too stressful anymore, we're professional jet laggers.

Thank you for your reviews! We went to the new food hall in Costa Mesa after watching your vlog from there. It was such a fun experience looking around at everything. There were so many options to buy lunch from. We have to go back to try the churros.

On your next trip to Kauai consider going to the Tip Top Cafe in Lihue. Very renowned for their Ox Tail Soup that I know Lisa loves. The Hawaiian pancakes are very good as well🤙

You should do a staycation in SGV area on one of your weekends so you won't have to deal with traffic. I love SGV for Chinese food and friends that live there. I miss that. If you go back to St Louis, don't go to Lemp Mansion...supposed to be haunted...lol

Hey guys! Just so you know now Wawa is all across Florida cause I lived in south west Florida for a long time and they got introduced down there years ago. It’s worth trying though I don’t think it’s phenomenal so just keep reasonable expectations! I’d also love to recommend a trip to the central coast. I grew up there (San Luis Obispo County) I’d recommend doing the business class train trip up and back cause it’s beautiful along the coast and food and drinks are part of that ticket! (Plus then you don’t have to worry about getting sleepy!) And if that trip sounds interesting I have tons of great food to recommend! Thanks for this update video and for your recent reply to a question I asked. I truly appreciate it!!

Thanks for the Q&A! Now, Canada. You mentioned so, me being a Canadian living state side (Las Vegas), you might want to consider visiting the Calgary Stampede at the beginning of July. There are MANY unique food selections that are different from year to year. Banff is only an hour west, also Lake Louise. Must sees. ❤

Aeroplane, Accommodation and Food questions: If any of the following is a bit morbid, please accept my apologies.
I have always wanted to know the following.
1) Since you two are jet setters, in a manner of speaking, have you ever been on such a turbulent flight that both you and Bill wondered if ... well, you know ... if this might be it and everyone was done for?
Also, please: How do you deal with being bumped-de-bumped around a lot, and still stay calm, flying enthusiasts?
About accommodations:
2) Have you and Bill ever encountered vermin in your hotel rooms, and if so what was your experience in getting staff to look into the matter? Have you ever encountered staff who did not act as fast as you might have liked, regarding dealing with unwanted critters?
3) What are your favourite restaurants in L.A.?
Park's BBQ?
Sichuan Impressions?
Langer's Deli?
Night + Market Song (for Thai food)?
4) What are your favourite local Thai restaurants to order take out from (via Uber Eats)? What are your favourite local Japanese restaurants in L.A. to order take out from (via Uber Eats)?
Not morbid, that's a good question....
1) Although turbulence can be nerve racking, it's not something that'll bring down a plane. Think of your plane inside of jello. You can shake it around, but it'll remain suspended in the jello. Lisa actually likes it, puts her to sleep. lol
2) We haven't encounter pests in hotels. But, have seen geckos in a Hawaii airbnb.
3) Too many! lol. Love LA Farmers Market and Grand Central Market, something for everybody there. Of course, Langer's Deli #19.
4) We like to order from Warin Thai in Harbor City. We haven't ordered Japanese, but we like to go to Azuma in Gardena.

Bill, how do you keep from being put on one of those dangerous aeroplanes like the Boeing 737 Max 9 (Portland Oregon to Ontario Canada) plane that lost an emergency exit door recently?
Can we choose the type of 'plane that we want to fly on???
And if so, how so?
@@SuiGenerisAbbie Currently, Delta doesn't fly the 737 MAX. When you make a flight reservation, most airlines will show you what type of aircraft you'll be on. Of course, that could change typically last minute if they swap planes.
