Day 3, South West Coastal Path

My second night I reached Countisbury, a tough 17.5 mile walk, mainly in damp muggy forests with no air. A few pints in the pub, refused to pay £18.50 for fish ‘n’ chips so found a disused quarry and pitched up. Peaceful night and had a lie in, it was raining a land I was shattered…
Day three was only 10 miles, lots of hills, through Lynmouth & Lynton and stopped for the night at Martinhoe, found a hotel to watch the football and there’s a little campsite up the road to pitch up.
