Flex Forks and Seat Suspension Ride Demonstration on Hustler Raptor SD Big Dog Alpha

- Was asked to post a video of the actual ride in the seat of the Hustler Raptor SD / Big Dog Alpha / Big Dog BlackJack with both the Flex Forks and Seat Suspension Kit installed. Popped a camera onto my chest, hit the throttle and ran across the hardest dips and bumps in the yard.

which do you think makes the biggest difference in the ride: The flex forks or suspension seat upgrade?
FDC, I don't think you can do one without the other as it takes them both to really relieve the harshness of the abrupt up motion of bumps.
If I had to do one before the other. I'd probably go with the suspension seat kit along with a seat slider in order for the seat suspension to work correctly. The kit requires a minimum of 3/4" below the mounting points in order for the down travel. I believe 1" spacer would even be better for really heavy operators along with rough terrain.

Yes Sir, it was. Had to use the under water camera mount in order to mount the camera. Couldn't figure out how to increase the voice audio. All things come to those that wait. Patience is a virtue, mine is getting short on this sort of thing. lol.
Also, I haven't seen this on the big screen yet so I'll do that now to see exactly how bumpy it looks from the back side of the video. Thanks Fried Chicken Now for viewing.

Yes it did. Had the action camera in a fully encased enclosure. Lived and learned.
At least you can see how smooth the upgrades makes the ride. Hard on a fella with the old fractures in the spine without the flex forks and suspension seat kit.
