This week we take on the tough and rough Bobs 4x4 track to the secluded beginner surf beach, Boranup. We find some unexpected slithery friends on our drive while we overlook the crystal clear blue water Western Australia is renowned for! All before ending up at a serine river camp featuring some epic caravan reversing and pizza on the Weber!

I want a board now for our trip. Liked the caravan set up section. Now the saliva going down the wrong hole… that happens to me all the time. I feel we are like you are my long lost sister or my doppelganger lol
The cooking segment I think should be a regular and the reversing was spectacular

when we lived in Augusta was one of the best beaches some years you could drive a 2wd on that track but other years it was wores than you guys had it, sadly they took out the deeply rutted section at the start of the track which used to stop the faint of heart from using the track as summer time people would get bogged on the beach by the dozen, but such a lovely spot.

Good 4wdriving, bit of wheel lifting and far out that water was clear, the bottom of WA continues to impress me, probably spend a month when I get around there. Weber pizzas yummmi…
Isn’t it bloody epic!!! Gosh, feels like a lifetime ago since we were down south. You’re absolutely going to love it, and oh my gosh, get a Weber pizza stone, you won’t regret it!! 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼

Hope you get to Hamlin bay, just been today and amazing stingrays everywhere, also recommend canal rocks in Yallingup as we saw a pod of 18 dolphins just offshore and snorkelling in the morning is great, 👍
We did, it is just incredible to have the stingrays come up so close, they are almost like little puppies they are that friendly! We will have to pop into Yallingup, that sounds wonderful! Thank you so much for the tips. 🤩

Can you camp at boranup or kilcarnup beach
I’m not sure about kilcarnup but I know you can’t at Boranup, in saying that, a couple of people did take some swags and spend the night!
