Good presentation, however, there is the challenge of feeds in my area. How can I solve it with local feeds which I can formulate? I live in North East Nigeria.
Dexter Great sir. Your natural method stands the best for not killing the male catfish. What is the name of the hormone (ovalprim?) Secondly, you injected ovalprim hormone to .2 mm into male catfish and .4mm into female catfish. I did not get it my problem sir.

Dex if i'm not mistaken, you'll need to add supplemental iron and maybe boron to an aquaponics system. However whilst boron is beneficial to plant growth it may have some negative side effects to the fry of certain fish species. You'll have to do some research 😉
Correct ,, aquaponics water is nearly always low in iron.
but shouldnt it be given orally in food? rather than in just water? malunggay and dahon kamote will do, right?@@tilapiadave3234

nice, very nice place. I dug a pond (6x6m) which the sides collapsed due to heavy storms but some catfish didn't escape. I decided to plant some reeds (for weaving mats) and bulrushes which overtook it but the plants naturally grow with good spacing's between them. We noticed catfish fingerlings and what maybe native fry so the adult catfish were happy changed to green color matching their environment and breeding. I have since dug a 15x5x2m pond lined with plastic for our next project. Anyway our recent observation (problem) is their is a snake or two in the first pond. What is the best way to get rid of it as i presume it will eat the fish and frogs? I intend fencing for prevention but how to get rid of the snakes first? Its in the bulrushes. Looking for ideas.
Just clean the sorroundings bro I think the snakes will not thrive if they don't have places to hide.
