Wow respects to her. Thought she was just in WWE for the money. She really likes the wrestling. She's been wrestling everywhere
WWE will suck the love of wrestling right out of you. I will always remember EC3 making his debut with a sick ass entrance and you could tell dude practiced that in the mirror but then you can literally see him week after week start to not care anymore and put less effort into his presentation. Just a haunting image.
Seems like she suffered the same thing in WWE that Punk, Mox, and many others suffered from: it beat the passion out of them.
Respect to Ronda for doing indies and shit, she seems to enjoy it.

If she thought WWE should treat the women’s division better, she’ll be in for a rude awakening when she’s on tv, for 4 weeks, then disappears, and only comes back every so often to get squashed by talent Tony likes more.

I respect Ronda Rousey for making this move. Not a lot of people with her name would go to Ring of Honor, because of their ego, I appreciate that she's paying respect to wrestling like this.
ROH is an AEW company now. She basically went to AEW. Kahn can pay her good with a light schedule.

THIS, THIS RIGHT HERE! Adam Copeland, Deonna Purrazzo, and Kota Ibushi are in AEW, CM Punk's back in WWE, Ronda Rousey's in ROH, and (at least for the time being) Mercedes Moné's in New Japan. And that's not even mentioning the amount of badass indie talent who used to work major now currently featuring in MLW, NWA, WOW, and wherever else you can think of that's got a TV deal or an internet show.
This is genuinely the healthiest I've seen wrestling as an industry be in probably my lifetime (I was born in 2000), and its so great to see!

I’m frankly quite staggered that someone with the name value that Ronda Rousey has has rejected to sign for AEW’s main roster and has signed for (in all intents and purposes) AEW’s version of NXT instead! It would have been a massive buzz amongst the AEW crowd to hear that RR had been signed….extraordinary to see her in ROH - that’s like Randy Orton signing for GCW…..
Aew is in shambles. At least ROH has the history and will probably survive if/when Tony finally loses it and aew goes under.
@@ABCDyeahyeahyeah AEW won’t go under - everyone said the same thing about TNA but they managed to scale back and survive under the ‘Impact’ name - AEW are a larger company than TNA were in their prime - they may not grow so fast, but they won’t fold….

No. AFter her contract expired with WWE, she went home to take care of her child. ROH and an indy show were in LA, so she did two shows as a favor to her buddy Marina Shafir.

Great move for her. She is of course, a natural at what she does, but let's not forget that her only frame of evidence is in the main event spots of WWE - prodigious talent she might be, she certainly needed to have her craft honed.
I hope she does well and kicks some serious ass over at ROH (and maybe AEW by extension) to become a more complete wrestling package.

For anyone thinking she had an ego:
- Rousey, during her FIRST WWE run, wanted to do a program/put over Ruby Riott, but the brass wouldn't sign off.
- Insisted on putting Liv Morgan over. Keep in mind that in 5 years, neither Sasha, Becky or Charlotte put Liv over.
- Fresh out of WWE, could have written her own check to wrestle anywhere in the main event. She chose instead to debut to NO fanfare at an indy show shortly before THIS match, as a favor to her friend Marina.
Yet, WWE tribalists will swear up and down that Ronda's evil for saying WWE's fake in that promo years ago. That's how her character SHOULD HAVE BEEN from the jump.

Bad Reputation is a Joan Jett song, but that aside I agree that it just didn’t work very well for Rousey.
I agree but I saw a fans video footage and she did come out to Bad Reputation. I would say Tony couldn't get the rights to the song in time.
Both are better than wild thing as ring entry song. Joan Jett is great and wild thing okay song, but it's pretty bad for ring entry.
