Good review Cain! Thanks for not blindly following the Kawasaki narrative that some of the other magazine reviews are following that this is an RMAX competitor. The RMAX is more poised for sport with some work while this is clearly a farm model that can do some mild trails. This is clear in the terrain Kawasaki chose for both this rde and their course on the day of release that was very groomed. It does compete with the Xpedition and higher-trim Ranger\Defender models.
I am 5'7" and i did not like the seat in the Ranch edition. The seat was too tall and my feet didn't set flat. i had to use my toes, to touch the floor. And yes i moved seat back and forth.
Used to own Kawasaki mule pro MX and also mule pro FXR both of those machines was very unreliable got a Can-Am defender best decision I made for a side-by-side so far it has been flawless
These are not expedition territory so let’s stop pretending they are. They are defender ranger contenders. Also needs locked front diff. My 2020 ranger midsize has a better front diff when in 4wd than this. Disappointing at the price point. I’m swaying back and forth. This or a defender. Cuz defender you get better bang for your buck over full size ranger. I’m not brand loyal at all.
It's quieter, better on fuel, larger cab by a lot, three year warranty and engine exhaust is facing the rear so less cab heat than the others. So yeah, there is a lot of differences.
@@MrMagic700 we'll see how it sells. I'm a huge Kawasaki fan but the reviews arent great about it. Plus it's really expensive. I'm disappointed they have the engines to make the krx compete with the pro r and x3 and Mav r but they don't. I'll never understand it
@@MrTjulius reviews are not great cause Polaris wants to keep market share. We will not advertise with you if you give kawi a good review. I used to sell Polaris I know how they work.
@@MrMagic700 Its not Quieter then a Defender Limited after test driving the ridge hvac at cruising speeds 40-60mph. Which is the reason why i went with the Defender. The ridge runs at 8400+rpm at 55-60MPH and the defender runs at 6500. The ridge is geared to low like the polaris xpedition. I wanted to get back into a Kawasaki after selling my Teryx years ago but i have kids now and i am sick of machines screaming at me when causally cruising around my property.

Awesome Video!
That door squeak would drive me nuts.
The only competition isn’t the Expedition. There’s lots of competition. The Ranger and Defender
Ty
The engine for the next kawi jet ski sea doo spark killer=125hp NA or 160hp turbo with water jacket.
Good Video.
Did you get any water coming into the cab when you drove through it?
Yes a few small drips near the rear view mirror area. But these machines were pre production.

How is the gas mileage
Better than any 1000 cc on the market today.
Beautiful sxs ❤
Goes more than a wrangler
Seems aweful noisy inside the cab

Theres nothing about it that stands out vs a Polaris or can am. So its got a 4 cylinder,so what.
