Indiana beach was a park I wanted to stop on our 4 park tour Last year...wow I had no idea how much was there to do.. and the local Hispanic foods were amazing the blue jay Cafe at the park serves amazing burgers btw....yeah and a lazy river...on the lake was funny to see, wow I am so glad this was saved!!!! I need to get back again...only for longer
I grew up not far from there and spent many nights out on the Indiana Beach boardwalk in my youth. Although I no longer live in the area I still try to get back there at least once every summer especially to get some tacos and the Lost Coaster is always a great thrill.

I remember all these rides back in the sixties like the Scrambler the tilt-a-whirl and the Octopus and of course the bumper cars. They bring me back to my teen years in Iowa every August when the fairs came to my town .
Happy you had a nice time we live 90 minutes from indiana beach when our three girls were little we went every yr they loved it. Now we are in our 60's an havent been there in several yrs but its a fun place my husband grew up in Monticello indiana

We almost decided against season passes because of this. That $20 parking sign had to have been a private spot. Free parking nice and close to the entrance.

Indiana native here.. have gone to IB every year for the last 25 years. Love it for a fun day trip with kids.. superstition mountain and lazy river always a fan fave! However it has declined a lot over the last 5-7 years.

You guys should go to Holiday World down close to Evansville, IN in Santa Claus, IN. Many people LOVE that park too!!!! My husband and I used to take our girls and their friends there quite a bit when they were young!!!
I haven’t been there since the late 60’s. I am returning later this month for 3 days. I used to come in from Remington. We would eat at a drive In restaurant that served crumbly hamburgers mixed up with melty cheese. I guess I’ll find out if that drive in still exists.

My family just went recently and it was a blast from the past for sure. We enjoyed everything but the "beach", it was about 3' deep and slippery slimey with a concrete base, very dangerous.
Ha ha, mom can be very expensive sometimes. 😂. We wondered if this was still open. We went there as a kid and camped for a few days. Good vlog. Happy summer Will and Dawn. 😎🌞
Ww went last year and stayed on property in a cabin on the lake, right next to entrance! It was awesome. My husband grew up going there. Our kids loved it. Nice fireworks on Wednesday and Saturday's. Food not too good lol

I am a local and have season passes so I have a parking tip! If you go past the campground and close to lake shaffer where u rent boats, you can turn into their free parking!
If you park in the north lot where the suspension bridge is then parking is free just some info for those that never been take advantage of the free parking and its a nice bridge you walk across too

In 2020 someone bought it and cleaned everything up. I haven’t been there in years,but from this video, it looks better than it had in a while.
