I had a little bit of pain. A little.
I remember seeing one of my ig friends putting a eyja support unit, so I went digging for her, only to refresh her 3 times in a row. I got so frustrated that I had to make changes.
1. I replace Eyja with Amiya
Courier with Texas
Gitano with Mostima
Shirayuki with Catapult(could have Ifrit but derped from frustration)
Myrrh with Silence
Plume with Lappy
Cuora with Hoshi
KOKODAYO with Sad Rich Catto
2. Because I derped and didnt get to use Eyja, I had to depend on my Mostima S3M3 to kill the Crushers. Honestly the AoE was just plain helpful, despite the fact that it also caused the slugs to detonate which killed my ST sniper and I didnt realise at all. I also placed Mostime on the tile above instead of below to have Mostima range handle the junction as well when ability activate to kill Crushers.
3. Due to using Catapult instead, the dps on the left was a little lacking so Hoshi helped out a lot. S3 blender ftw. Plus i accidentally killed the ST sniper so, really just placed more burden on myself by accident.
4. Lappy made me deal with CS no probs because of Spiritual Destruction. No phasing for you CrownSlayer _hehehehehehe_

@@Znwarp S1, its pratically almost the same as Eyja S3, except it is still single target, no range expand, and the atk spd increase is way lower

This was a tough one 😭 my Shaw wasn’t strong enough so I used Lapland to cancel crownslayer special ability, but still, it was nerve wrecking 😱💀 thanks for outlining another great strategy!!

My healers and casters in the middle always die from a spider dying in the middle lane, then everything falls apart

Just make sure there arent any when you are activating the Eiya skill, if they are still dying there then just use a weaker sniper :D
I just finished the stages for Code of Brawl and I'm just finishing leftover stages to get more Originite Prime and all I can say is, man, you sure are a god at this.

It took 15 times to clear this, I don't have high level fast redeploy and my friend list eyja always use first skill. I use angeli + Lapland to deal with that high hp instead and for spider bom below I use platinum and firewatch. With that I don't need keep deploy and redeploy.

@Sky Rocket E2, but after few times trying I realize that e1 Max defender + 2 e1 Max medic+ e2 Lapland+another e1 Max caster will be enough to deal with elite tanker at the right side.

Somehow my Eyja got wasted at like the 30% point, but the stage is so long that she was able to redeploy just in time. This one was as tense as CC.
Uh, ye, I just Lappland, Beagle and Gitano in the middle with an AoE sniper pointing up to help with the left lane. Crownslayer can't go past Lappland since she's silenced. Moreover, as Gitano's S2 hits everything in range, all the fodders and whatnot are wiped out at once, allowing Lappland to focus her silence on the crusher and Crownslayer. It's an option if you can't find an Eyjafjalla in support for some reasons.
Nice video! By the way, using Ceobe with S2 actually worked better for me, you easily get the skill back up and don't have to stall

My problem with this stage is that Blue Poison kills the enemies so quickly, so the slugs end up nuking my healers: Suffering from success.

Because I also have a habit of starting a match without support, I realised everytime as soon as I click the start button.

I can't help my self. So I recalled all the damage dealing Operators that can hit her. So Cuora and FEater can bully her, for the next 5 minutes. It was worth it.
For some reasons my E1 Level 60 Perfumer kept dying so I switched to Nightingale with 2nd skill at E1 Level 55 and it worked. At first I didn't use her because of the DP cost but placing Gravel for temporary time worked, so yeah..
By the way, this video with all the other videos are life-savers. Thanks for making them!

Just completed this first time, following this guide, using only one E2 (I didn't use it, just to pick E2 friend supports). I did not have a friend with an Eyjafjalla on S3, so I tried it with a friend's E2 Angelina (S3), and it worked. I subbed Vigna for Plume, Platinum for Kroos, Meteorite for Shirayuki, and Mostima for Gitano, and used a Shaw that was only E1 level 20. I had to stall the third big boy by tossing bodies in front of him until Angelina could recharge and finish him. I would say that for Angelina to work you do need a better DPS on the right side, so probably either an E2 Gitano or a stronger caster like Mostima (mine was E1, level 80, skill 2 level 7), and a high-level Angelina is better - my friend's was E2 Level 70 with S3 mastery 3. Great guide for a really tough level.
This why i upgrade my gravel to E1 max lvl haha
I did it borrowing Murdroc for the middle lane and dealt with the rest. Wasn't pretty but got the job done.
EDIT: Now i finished following your guide, i had all the troops i need plus i use ling instead of Gitano in order to use dragons to kill spider. It went smoothly. I'm sad now because i had all i need to make it work and i couldn't figure it out. Kudos man.
Ive found that substituting shaw for lappu and my e1 lvl25 shirayuki for my e2 angelina helped a lot

I used S3 Angelina and S2 Gitano instead of Eyja here and it worked fine(barely). lol
i spent 3 hours in this stage then i realize my amiya and skyfire so underleveled. no wonder my tank dies a lot
as usual the first 10-30 seconds are the only parts that are hard, because none of your operators cost as little as the ones in the video.

I used Eux with S2 but one enemy always managed to slip out. So I changed her to S1 to kill them faster. One still almost slip out cause her higher cost, she got deployed slightly later. Thankfully she managed to kill him
Well had to take 1st skill of Exu cuz otherwise its too slow and one enemy slip thru at beginning
i took the wrong skill on shaw but she doesnt flash if u take that one as well use it very quick tho a tip if u take eyja from support take a second single target caster on the free spot to finish the enemies left after crownslayer dies
phew, after a few days (maybe 3?) I've finally completed this stage.
This stage was a pain in the ass! Especially without gummy, had to settle with spot.
I actually managed pull of this strat but without using Eyjfjalla (since S3 Eyja wouldn't show up on my lists). In her place I used my E2 Amiya with her skill 2 at M1 and in place of AOE caster was a borrowed Mostima with skill 3. It's a pain to time Amiya's skill right and capture all of the crushers with it, so you'll have to rely on Mostima's skill activation to clear away at least one of them. Though I think her S2 or Skyfire's crowd control might be good enough too, to stall the enemies in front of your healing tank until the operators collectively manage to take em down before the crusher stuns the tank (there's also a little time to kill them after the tank is breached if it comes to that).

Not sure if it will work with low squad, but I've put two single-target snipers looking down on spiders(tiles left of parfumer and the one gitano standing), and they kill those. Though it's platinum and blue poison, but may be 3 star could do it too.

if you have lappland at E2 you can exchange eya because lappland has her silence (just put her behind the healing defender)

I got Gummy early and having a healing defender has been so dang useful. I enjoy how the maps in this game tend to be flexible enough that you can play to the strengths of the characters you have instead of "needs this 5* to beat", your getting through chapter 5 without a unit type I considered essential speaks to that.
The first time I tried this my vanguard died too early, like with 30 enemies and I had absolutely no one to replace her. I used Gravel xD still I got far...
"Low End Squad" - deploys Eyjafjalla
I use lappland and exusai for this, didn‘t think about using shaw at the end there though, great guide. Also what about replacing plume with either skafi or melantha, they can definitely survive atleast 1 spider.
Tried to kill crownslayer with silverash and ends up in a failure then i found this vid.. ur a real life saver lol
1. The stage is very difficult.. Gravel needs to be redeployed a thousand times..
2. What a delight to have Ifrit in the AoE sniper position...
This level is like hell and this took many tries, right now I still can’t beat it because my AOE medic died at the last wave and I’m like shiiiiiiiiiit
For those who are still having issues this is what I did to clear it.
I moved perfumer further to the left to still cover the left flank without risk of dying. After placing your healing defender over on the right place Eyja where Gitano would be and a healer at the bottom right to just heal Eyja and placed a ranged guard behind your healing defender for extra DPS. If you have Ifrit use her instead of an AOE sniper for the left lane.
Place another single target caster or Angelina with S3 where Eyja was but facing down to clear the slugs and fodder before reaching your defenders. Angelina may die but that's okay as long as you can wreck 2 of the 3 defense crushers or you may use Lancet to help her survive, with Angelina you can time the attacks so the slugs don't blow her up.
If you don't have E2 Eyja with S3 get her from friends.
With this strat I didn't need to use Red or Gravel and only had to use Vigna once to catch a leak on the left before putting a defender there.
If you have a caster like Ceobe or Steward at a high level, grab a friends Lappland or your own and put her behind Gummy. Use an AoE medic instead and place them where Gitano would be facing left, place the caster where Eyja would be, and place Gitano where Kroos would be facing up. Make sure to kill spiders going to Cuoras side early. My ST healer just wasn't doing it and I only had one E2 Eyja on my support list and she would not come up.

Why is e2 30 eyja keep dying? I keep killing those spiders too fast such that they explode at eyja's place, killing her. May I know is there anyway to stop this? Thank you(I have e2 30:eyja, sa ,lap,e2 50 surtr)

Here are big brain strategies . Me - slap Angie s3, Swarchz s3, Saria s2 and Lappi. Add Amiya on top. Summon Nightingale. Facetank. 3rd or 4th try, actually

I started with Siege, big nope so i had to switch to Courrier
Then i have Exu with skill 1 because someone slips away.
Then my healing defender is Saria E2 (costs 21). Even with gravel trying to save me still not enough points. Please dont tell me i have to level gummy...
Put angelina on that single target healer and change gummy to nearl or saria
I feel like I need e2 healers here because my maxed out e1 healers with lvl 7 skills die to the damage over time.

All of my friend doesnt have any Eyjafjalla with 3rd skill in the list

The DP requirements for this one seem to be ridiculously tight. I don't have Perfumer, despite my best efforts as a F2P in trying to get her from Recruitment, so I have to use Ptilopsis, who is my only AoE healer and has no potential upgrades. Same goes for the support Eyja I'm using, who costs a bit more DP than your Eyja, and my Cuora, Myrrh and Gummy who also cost more DP than yours because not enough potential upgrades. At about 2:56 into the video, I can't deploy Gravel because the extra DP spent on deploying all those operators earlier snowballs until this point, which means that the spider has enough time to get below Myrrh before I get enough DP to deploy Gravel, and when she kills the spider, it takes Myrrh with it when it explodes, which completely dooms the operators on the right side of the map. I can't redeploy Myrrh in time to save them from the constant damage, and that's the problem I'm having to deal with. Any ideas, besides whaling for potential upgrades?
The DP requirements are pretty tight at the start, but if you got Myrtle from the Hellagur banner, she makes the DP easy with a squad of high cost operators. I dropped Myrtle first, up to the right of where Kyo places Courier, facing her left. Ptilopsis was next down where Kyo placed Perfumer, but I faced her up to be able to heal Myrtle at the top. I used Myrtle's S1 as soon as it was available then dropped Siege where Kyo placed Courier. Vigna got dropped on the right side to stall long enough for the DP required to drop Saria in her place. Next was Exusiai on the left where Kyo put Kroos. Next down was Lappland on the right side, down from Saria. I dropped Shining on the right side where Kyo puts Gitano and didn't use an AOE caster at all, that allows you to place your right side medic in a spot where she will not take any damage from any exploding spiders. Lappland isn't key, she helps with her talent of course, but Midnight would likely work fine in her place. After that Siege got replaced by Cuora then it was pretty much just chaos after that dropping Gravel and Vigna down on slugs whenever their redeploy time was up. Myrtle was pulled up after the 2nd casting of her S1, and I was never short on DP at all on this run after the initial scramble.
Team I used were all my own, so no friend support units: Eyjafjalla E2lvl40 S3lvl7, E2lvl20 Lappland S2lvl7, E2lvl30 Exusiai S3lvl7, E2lvl30 Ptilopsis S2M1, E2lvl20 Shining S2lvl7, E2lvl30 Saria S2lvl7, E2lvl20 Cuora S2M1, E1lvl55 Siege S2lvl7, E1lvl50 Vigna S2lvl4 (her skill and skill level doesn't matter here, as she's never down long enough to activate it), E1lvl40 Myrtle S1lvl7, E1lvl50 Shaw S1lvl7 (lvl4 is fine here). Exusiai, Saria and Myrtle are all Potential 2. Shaw, Vigna, Cuora and Gravel are all Potential 6. Eyjafjalla, Lappland, Shining and Siege are base without potentials. I didn't bring an AOE sniper at all, and I am not too sure how it would go without an E2 Exusiai, but if you have both Lappland and Midnight (or even Silver Ash), you could use your weaker one of the two on the left side where they will be in range of your AOE healer, so just to the left of your single target sniper. You just need to replace them with Shaw before Crownslayer gets there, though an E2 Lappland on the left will prevent Crownslayer from using her ability, but Shaw is just a lot more fun pushing Crownslayer back up in front of Cuora. The account is not entirely F2P, since I did spend $0.99 on the starter pack and $4.99 once on the Monthly Card, though I do have an entirely F2P account with just as many 5 and 6 star operators as my main account does.
I did manage it fine my first time through here on practice without Myrtle, but I also had issues with my right side medic getting killed every time on the actual run. If you put your r/s medic on Gitano's tile, then you don't have to worry about her getting killed at all, which makes the run a LOT easier, you just need a ranged guard there for the extra DPS so your medic defender doesn't get overwhelmed.
If you don't have Myrtle, you can also do this with a second 2 block vanguard on the left side at the start, preferably one that has a fairly fast initial skill cast like Texas and her S2 or one that is really cheap to deploy like Fang or Vanilla, that way you have enough time to get a single block vanguard down on the right side in the medic defender's spot to stall until you've got enough DP for your medic defender. I prefer to do the stall with a single block vanguard and not gravel at the start, because you get back all of their DP cost when you retreat them, and I don't need to place them at the top like Kyo does at 1:58 because I am using Lappland on the right side and Saria has enough range with her heals to keep Lappland healthy until I have enough DP to place Shining, though the healing isn't really needed right away and you will have enough time for DP to place your medic down on the right before your ranged guard is in any danger of dying from the constant HP drain.
If you don't have Saria and you didn't get her from the Certificate shop when she was in there a couple of weeks ago, I would VERY HIGHLY recommend you save up 180 of them so the next time she is in there you can get her if you still don't have her by then. As much as operators like Exusiai, Silver Ash, Eyjafjalla, etc are broken in just how much burst DPS they can do, Saria has such crazy range and good uptime with her S2 that she can completely mitigate the need for any healers at all on some stages, or at least drops the number of them you need to bring. I have seen a couple Annihilation 3 400 kill clears with the only 'healer' in the groups being Saria. I have had Saria for a while on my main account (got her first one from the Skadi banner during the Grani event), so I have had a lot of time to use her and I really can't recommend her enough, she's just that good. The difference between her and all of the other medic defenders in the game is like the difference between Eyjafjalla and all other single target casters, she's just that much better even at only E1 since her S2 is the skill you want to use with her the most. If you are not familiar with Saria's S2 healing range, it's a 5x5 grid less the 4 corners, and her heal is AOE without the 3 target cap like there is with an AOE healer.
How about taking lappland to prevent explosive slugs from actually exploding? Her passive skill actually stops them.

Practice with friends Eyja. Got it down to a science. Fail actual mission. Refresh 10 times and can't get Eyja back on support. Have to waste sanity to get her. Won't appear.
