Great Interview Zoe! I also like the fact you said you don't focus on going to the worst hoods and labeling them slums/ghetto's and so on like some other youtubers.... Especially in countries like Africa where western media for years have shown the worst area's and situations leaving us in the west to think there is no good areas or reason to travel there. Rough area's exist in every country no need to highlight them and embarrass the residents that happen to live there. Your interviewing skills are on point too Bro! Big up!

Pay attention 😂 u Xtourists to what she said about going and overpaying in areas that has a market value usually less. I think it can be applied to what y'all do.. And zoe, if i have a budget of 2k and i don't research to know it's usually $300 why would i just go and drop 2k because i can afford it and that was my budget.. Would you approach it the same way in any part of the united States.. Her comeback was completely correct. If i move back to Guyana, the first thing I'm going to do and did do, when i was researching prices was call my cousin up and say ....Hey for this and that place, how much are people paying now and he told me.. obviously i can pay more but I can deploy the difference in my budget, that same capitol somewhere else .. especially if I'm reinvesting it to make more money ..mr serial entrepreneur business man😊. i tell guys who just into paying for the box the same principal..i see most white guys, in for example..the sou ..seem to get that economic principal without a fight back but ohhh lord SOME of our folks have the, becuase i have it i should spend it mentality. You can go to poor neighborhoods be respectful and embrace the culture. Just don't put your go-pro on people's face like they're some kind of exotic pets .
Going to the worst neighborhood without helping the people living there is called "poverty porn" . This is when you go to an area just to look at the poor people like animals in a zoo.

Yeah the not having hot water in hotels in Colombia threw me for a loop..you get over it quick though when you got a hot body in that shower with you!
