Do you like my crazy hair? I will say it definitely keeps me cooler when i skip the hood!

Hello Katt. My Problem is Sizing Issues. Being 5' 4". And having a 30" Waist you would think it would be easy. I am Heavier than I look. Mens Small is usually the correct length. But is Tight around the Thighs and Chest. Medium is Too long in the Legs and Arms. When I did my OW Dives, The shop sent me with a Mens Large John. The Legs were too Long. I had to roll them up to access the fin straps. The Shoulder Straps were Loose. The Jacket was a M/L. Too long in the Torso.

I find sizing is difficult in all clothing and exceptionally in wetsuits. In cases like this, I recommend just going to any dive store near you and trying as many wetsuits on as possible. (Bring some hydrolytes to stay hydrated during the process 😭)
If you dive in a warmer climate the rashies and thinner suits tend to have more give.
But if anything, I've heard of several brands that make custom wetsuits. So consider that? They don't end up being absurdly expensive if you consider it's a perfect fit.

    Hello Katt,
great review, but I prefer those without hood, I would lie if I would say I don't like you crazy hair. 🫶
I guess the one without hood, is best for those who prefer using the same hood for free dive and scuba diving.
I used to have a front zip shorty, I felt always shocked when water goes into, then I decided to keep it open when I go into the water, so I closed it in the water and the shock was much less, I don't know if this could work for you too.

That's a great tip. I think I like trying to delay the pain as much as possible.
I did find the hood was too hot in some of my dives around here
