I've heard dozens of versions of this song throughout the years and this one is the best version for me. I am not talking about the mastery of performance. This is soulful. This is what music is all about.
If I didn't see the door behind, I would think this is a stage performance. Very smooth rich voice. "Love it. Love it!", as David would say.* A nice bonus for me is seeing the guitar throughout; I am trying to teach myself.

The clever things you did with the timing keep the song feeling fresh and surprises the listener with complexity each time they listen to it
