Keep practicing and youll be amazing, I remember when I first started about 9 months ago, and ive gotten significantly better. It only seems crazy until you do it.
I’d say trust the process but you’re still pretty new to music production overall so it wouldn’t hurt to dabble and find new things. I use Fl; sequencer and piano roll is the key to getting my ideas out asap. Love the vids 🤞keep goin!
@@JusticeTillett I've only watched videos of it so far, but I really like the look and layout. As people often say, all DAWs can essentially do the same thing; it's just a matter of HOW they do it. For me, I wanted a DAW that I could install and start using right away, without needing additional plugins or any extra hassle. I watched the video titled "Was Switching DAWs a Mistake?? Bitwig Vs. Cubase - 1 Year Later," and I was impressed by the level of control over sound. In my opinion, the main selling points are the automation and modulation features. Just my two cents!
It’s good you’re able to make simple arrangements. I like that u threw that reverse hat in this one because the last beat I wanted to mention that working on adding transition elements like reverse cymbals, white noise, any other kind of upriser types would help give a little more motion to your track by highlighting transitions between parts. Not always necessary but it’s something to think about. Listen to songs you like and try to notice how they change from one part of the song to the next. Looking forward to hearing more and seeing how you like FL Studio!
lol Matter of time…. There are so many resources out there for FL, you’ll pick it up in no time. You will quickly come to realize all DAWS are pretty much the same, albeit some of the verbiage is different for the same functions. Biggest difference is workflow. I love beat making in FL (mpc 2 currently), but mixing in it is ATROCIOUS when compared to PT, S1, Logic, Luna etc. I normally split “mixer tracks (track outs) and mix in another DAW for speed.
This is very interesting, watching you build your track. Inspiring! Some advice tho'...try put your laptop on a small box/platform or sum' to get it closer to eye level. Your neck with thank you 😁
Fl Studio is the freaking best invention ever. You’re lucky you already have experience and have a really good ear for a good sound too. I hope you finish that song.
This is a fire song, could definitely hear it in a movie score placement. I love your voice, plus I heard you vocal skatting a delicate vocal phrase which is super cute 😻 . Gr8 stuff, where can we listen to your songs ? Thanx
I think FL would be more suited for you as opposed to Logic because of the workflow. It's one of the premier choices for modern Hip Hop and R&B. I wouldnt suggest DAWs like Logic, Pro Tools, Studio One, Cubase, etc unless you're a person that plays live instruments or you're a mix/master engineer. For more modern production/electronic music, you wanna use DAWs like FL, Reason, Ableton or Bitwig. You joined the opps (Ableton Gang! 😂), but it's all love. Looking forward to seeing what you cook up in FL.
@@pwho405 I'm not mad at that. I just personally feel like Reason, FL, Ableton and Bitwig are more optimized for workflow, getting ideas out faster and better for preventing writer's block. Especially for someone who's at the beginner stages like Justice. But it does all come down to the user in the end.

Yeah I was gonna say that as well. About adding too many things before you mastered what you already have. It’s a mistake I have made over the years and it will stunt your progress.
I think since she's still pretty fresh, she should be fine. Just that she'll have to learn FL now. But what she already knows will transfer. When i first started out i dabbled with multiple DAWs to see which one i vibed with the most.
@@JusticeTillett Like using MPC Live 2 a lot as for hardware, I use MPC Beats software, Studio One Artist DAW, and FL Studio the trial version. There’s so many great DAWs but I’m feeling more like creating on MPC Live 2 then tracking out stems to Studio One. I do need to work on getting Pro tools since that seems to be industry standard in professional studios.
Thanks for sharing this video and the others, I'm new at this and your videos help me out sometimes, to be honest some videos on RUclips done by people who know the tech inside out can be so arrogant I just click off
Be careful with the daw switching. Producers become cult-like over the software they use when, in reality, the software doesn’t matter; it’s the creativity you put into it. I would encourage you to keep learning more about music theory as opposed to switching software.
It benefits to knowing both honestly. There are things in fl that she won’t find in logic and vice versa. Like I personally use ableton but I still go in fl to use gross beat when I can. I definitely do agree with the theory aspect of what you are saying tho.
Homie is gettin better!!! Keep goin on ittt famm do u wanna collab on fl or do like a video together I haven't made no vids but I am down to do a vid with u where u can ask me questions and I can run through em w u
“My roll sounds like it’s rolling off a cliff …and I don’t like it” that one caught me off guard ☠️😂
😅🤣
Fl gonna be a game changer for your drum pattern workflow.

Trust the process mamas, FL Studio is a game changer for sure 🔥
I believe you 😢🤍
You’re getting better and better, and I’m so proud of you, plus you’re glowing 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾🖤🖤🖤
I appreciate you 🤍🤍🤍
Some people use metronome but I just use a simple drum pattern first stay on beat
Progress is great
lets gooo justice!!! loving your progress.
This beat was a vibe I was singing along with you making melodies in my head. Keep going! You inspire me to learn production
On snap, new video! ❤
For drum sounds try splice and also Industry Kits, they have some dope drum packs. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!
Loving watching your growth from a far . Keep up the great work 🎶🎶🎶💯🦾😎

Dam right, fl gang, honestly cannot wait. Happy 4 you
Yes come to fl it's so tuff frfr 🐐
You got it keep pushing

I've been thinking of switching, too! Bitwig seems the most intuitive to me so far!!!
Really? What’s it like 🤔

I feel the same way about Abelton coming from Logic!!! It gets easier over time the more you stay with it!!! Why they call it the learning curve!!!
You should do a series with these videos like a part 1,2,3,etc.. This like a lil show fr😂
