Great quick how to. Just did an H22 swap and saw an oil leak coming down the trans case. Thought it was coolant coming out of the hose below the distributor and when reaching for the hose clamp my backside of hand got soaked in oil on the underside of the distributor. It was an aftermarket distributor and pretty sure the o-ring wasn't to Honda OEM spec so OEM seal on its way. Thanks.

I might have the same issue with my 2000 hatchy I bought last week. How did you know where it was coming from? Mine looks like it's coming from the same area as yours was

Notice you had headers. Did you relocate the catalytic converter or is it not required in Iowa?

thank you for this video. What's the torque wrench of distributor bolts please? Is it the same torque wrench for d15z6 motor?

It looks like you have the same engine as me, my problem is that the scanner tells me that the problem is VTEC but it doesn't have it, or?

Any updates on the O-ring and if it's still leaking? I'm going to replace mine as well as the vtec solenoid gaskets so hopefully mine should stop leaking as well.

I haven’t noticed anymore leaking coming from the distributor. The O-ring seems to have fixed the issue.

THAT IS NOT WHERE IT LEAKS. IF YOU TAKE THE CAP OFF, YOU WILL SEE THE LEAKS FROM THE SHAFT CONNECTING TO THE ROTOR.

No that just means your leak was more severe. I’ve had that issue before though so I feel you.
